Florida woman’s jail attire matches the high-end orange pants she allegedly stole

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – According to a Saks Fifth Avenue loss prevention officer, a Naples woman was arrested for allegedly trying to leave the store without paying for the high-end clothes she had in her purse.

Sabine Verrier, 60, reportedly moseyed around Saks, locating the look of her choice.

Verrier’s look included a $620 brown floral dress and a pair of $295 pants.

With the help of video surveillance, the loss prevention officer spotted the suspect shoving the high-end clothes in her purse.

When the loss prevention officer tried to chat with her about the contents in her purse, Verrier attempted to escape.

The officer managed to take the suspect back to his office and confiscate the stolen clothing.

Luckily for Verrier, the pants were a perfect shade of orange to match her Naples Jail Center jumpsuit.

Verrier is accused of stealing $915 of merchandise and faces grand theft charges. (Image courtesy of Collier County Jail / Story ref. NBC 2 Fort Meyers
