20-year-old man arrested at residence of Bixby’s Chief of Police

BIXBY, Okla – According to reports, a man was arrested at the home of Bixby’s Chief of Police on May 14th.

Hunter Hobbs, 20, was arrested for his alleged involvement in an incident that occurred on May 8th.

According to neighbors, the neighborhood had a line of law enforcement agencies, including two SWAT teams and undercover FBI, before the arrest. (2 News)

The nearby Bixby elementary school was placed on lockdown for preventive purposes.

Reports say Hobbs was arrested and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon along with shooting with intent to kill.
