21-year-old physically confronts officers after crashing a stolen freight truck

TULSA, Okla. – On the morning of November 9th, 21-year-old Jett Green was seen on surveillance video stealing a freight truck from a company close to Apache and Lewis.

According to Tulsa police, Green was in possession of the stolen vehicle for approximately 20 minutes when he crashed it at 4600 N. Lewis Ave.

Authorities reported to the scene after receiving a report of a hit-and-run crash. Green reportedly fled the scene.

According to traffic investigators, Green was allegedly speeding when he “crossed over into oncoming traffic,” ultimately leading to the crash. (Tulsa Police Department)

The crash sent one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was located near the hit-and-run scene shortly after the police responded to the scene. According to Tulsa police, Green “kicked at officers and hit one of them while he was being placed under arrest.” The suspect was arrested for the following:

  • Larceny of an Automobile AFCF (After Former Conviction of a Felony)
  • Hit and Run Injury Accident AFCF
  • Assault on a Police Officer
  • Drive Left of Center
  • No Driver’s License
  • No Insurance
  • Resisting Arrest
