TULSA, Okla. – A man wanted on a felony warrant was located in a residential area near 4th and Memorial when Mingo Valley Patrol learned about his whereabouts.
Jerry Strook, wanted on a warrant related to domestic violence, was inside a home when authorities asked Strook to come out of the house.
Police used a loudspeaker during their requests, but Strook refused.
Although he refused to exit the residence, the suspect did speak to authorities behind closed doors, asking the officers to leave.
Of course, officers did not entertain Strook’s request. Even though Strook barricaded the front door with furniture, police still managed to go inside the home by way of that same door.
Upon entry, authorities, including a K9, looked all over the place for Strook. They eventually found him hiding in the home’s attic. Strook hid underneath the insulation.
After some convincing, Strook surrendered and was arrested for Resisting Arrest, Obstructing/Interfering with an Officer, and Felony Domestic Violence Warrant. (Tulsa Police Department)
