Keithan Moore, of Wilmer, Texas, wrapped
a towel around his hands to make it appear
he was carrying a gun. He then walked into
a building, walked up to the counter and demanded money. Unfortunately for him, the
building he walked into was the Wilmer Police
Department. After offi cers wrestled him to the
ground, he told the cops it was all a joke. They
took it a little more seriously. He’s under arrest.
Christopher Stone, of Launceston, Tasmania,
wanted some chicken schnitzel... really wanted
some chicken schnitzel. However, he was a
little short of funds. So, he did what any bozo
would do, he stuffed the schnitzel in question
down his pants, threatened the cashier at the
supermarket with a gun and walked to his car.
One thing he didn’t plan on, however, was how
diffi cult it would be to drive with a large schnitzel in his pants. Police offi cers say he was attempting to adjust the schnitzel when he lost
control of his vehicle and rolled the car. He’s
busted!
From Newton Township, Pennsylvania
comes the story of an unidentifi ed pervert who
exposed himself to a woman. But it would seem
that he didn’t really want her to see what he was
showing. The place he chose for his crime was
the Bucks County Association for the Blind. Police are still looking for the suspect.
Joseph Wilkins, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, spotted a stereo in a parked car that he just
had to have. Seeing no one anywhere around,
he broke in but quickly found it was going to be
more diffi cult than he thought. After struggling
to remove the stereo he found it was locked
into the dash and the only thing he could pry
loose was the faceplate, which he took with
him. It was what he left behind that caused all
the problems. Apparently while wrestling with
the stereo, his wallet slipped out of his pocket.

Marlow Police Officer Bryan Janz was dispatched to the 400
block of W. Steele on a domestic in progress that had gotten
physical. As he got closer the residence, he could hear loud
yelling and screaming coming from inside the home. As he
walked to the door, he made contact with Earl Love, 52, as he
was coming out of the house.
Janz asked Love what was going on, but Love just starting
yelling and screaming at the officer; he couldn’t even make
out what Love was saying, he was so loud. Janz asked Love to
lower his voice, but he only got louder and moved within three
to four inches of Janz’ face. Janz then had to raise his voice
over Love’s so that Love could hear him.
Fed up, Janz took Love by the arm to move him back away,
and as he did, Love jerked his arm away and struck the officer in the chin with his elbow.
He took Love by the arm again, put his hands behind his back, and then placed him in
cuffs.
Janz put Love in the back seat of his patrol car and went to talk to Love’s step-dad inside
the house. Step-dad said Love thought he had stolen a tool from him. Love then punched
his step-dad on the left side of his head a couple of times and then shoved him.
Love was transported to the Stephens County Jail and booked on charges of domestic
assault, disturbing the peace, and for assault on a police officer.

Sterling Williams
Williams was convicted of
stabbing to death 22-yearold LeAnna Hand and
assaulting her roommate,
Elizabeth Hill, in 1997 in
their Tulsa apartment.
Williams was a doorto-door meat salesman
and had sold Hand and
Hill meat on a previous
occasion. Williams stabbed
Hand with a butcher knife
and then kicked open Hill’s
bedroom door and attacked and battered her.
He received the death sentence for Hand’s murder
and a 99-year sentence for Hill’s attack.
A Kansas City psychiatrist testifi ed that he
diagnosed Williams with bipolar disorder. The
psychiatrist said Williams had fi xated on four
women and had intended to rape Hand, not kill her.
Williams had fi ve prior felony convictions in 1993
in Jefferson County, Ark. -- two for rape and one
each for kidnapping, burglary and battery. He
received a 10-year-sentence and 10 years’ probation
and was paroled in January 1996.

A Duncan man was taken into custody
early April 9 after a Stephens County deputy pulled over his speeding vehicle and
caught him sucking on a joint.
According to the police affidavit, Deputy
Matthew Peck was on routine patrol on
42nd Street near Oliver Road when he noticed a silver Ford SUV traveling in front of
his patrol car. As both vehicles were traveling southbound, Peck paced the vehicle
at 62 mph, 7 mph over the speed limit. He
also noticed the driver would rapidly accelerate after he stopped at a stop sign.
Peck pulled the SUV over on 42nd Street south of Dr. Pepper
Road. As he approached the driver side window, he smelled the
strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and noticed
ashes in the driver’s lap. The driver also had very red, watery eyes
and appeared shaky and nervous.
Peck escorted the driver, Justin Keith Willard, 24, to the back
seat in his patrol vehicle. There he noticed the odor of marijuana
to be even stronger. He asked Willard if he had been smoking any
marijuana, and Willard admitted he had smoked marijuana at
work with a friend. When Peck asked Willard how long prior to
driving he had smoked marijuana, Willard lowered his head and
said he had been smoking marijuana while driving home from
work.
Peck found a roach in the coin holder near the center console
that Willard told him about. After a field sobriety test, Peck placed
Willard under arrest for driving under the influence of intoxicants
other than alcohol and possession of marijuana. He seized the
roach from the vehicle along with a package of rolling papers.
Willard was taken to Duncan Regional Hospital where his blood
was drawn and then transported Stephens County Jail where he
was booked.

Summer is upon us, school is
out, and the time for recreation
and fun in the sun is here! With
summertime comes traffic to
and from the lakes, as well as numerous other endeavors that
you can enjoy across the state, including camping, riding horses,
motorcycles, and ATVs, and other activities too numerous to list
here. One thing that a lot of these activities have in common is
towing something to and from these locations. I am going to try and
touch on some of the basic safety issues to keep in
mind when towing a trailer.
One of the most important safety features that trailers come
equipped with are the safety chains or cables. These are required,
and must be in use when towing. These chains keep the trailer
attached to the vehicle should the coupling device break or otherwise
become disengaged. These chains or cables shall be of sufficient
size and strength to prevent parting from the towing vehicle. A
helpful hint when connecting your stay chains or cables is to cross
them under the tongue of the trailer. The stay chains or cables must
be attached in a manner to prevent the tongue from falling to the
ground, and crossing them allows the chains to catch it if it should
come off the coupling device.
Some larger trailers come equipped with an emergency breakaway
device. This device has a cable coming from it that must be attached
to the vehicle. If the trailer becomes disconnected from the vehicle,
when the cable is pulled tight, it automatically applies the trailer
brakes, preventing it from free-rolling. This device is required on
all trailers with a GVWR of 3000 lbs or more. Speaking of brakes,
state law requires that all brakes be maintained and in good working
order!
If you are breaking out this trailer for the first time since winter,
it’s a good idea to check the tires. Tires that sit for a long time
develop dry rot, flat spots, and lose pressure. Make sure that your
tires are in good working order, still have sufficient tread, and check
the pressure. Run the tires at the manufacturer’s suggested psi for
optimal performance.
Last but not least, we come to trailer lights. Make sure that all
your lights are functional. Plug them into the towing vehicle, and
check them all! Don’t assume that if they work in the daylight,
they will work at night, go ahead and check them with the towing
vehicle’s headlight switch turned on as well. If you are towing more
than one thing; in other words, towing in combination, only the
rearmost trailer’s lights must be operational.
Summertime is recreation time, and getting our toys to our
destination and back safely is the responsibility of every safe,
courteous driver. Lets all do our part to enjoy summer safely.
As always, thanks for reading, buckle up and be safe!

Dyer
A Stephens County jury convicted former U.S. Marine Charles
Alan Dyer April 19 of raping and sodomizing his seven-year-old
daughter and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Two earlier trials ended in mistrials, one because the jury could
not reach a verdict and the other due to a clerical error.
Dyer was the focus of a massive manhunt for almost a week last
August after the FBI received information he was in the Sealy,
Texas area. The search quickly shifted to Fort Bend County after
the fugitive was spotted in Wallis and then in Orchard.
After he was captured, officers learned Dyer spent several days
eluding police by hiding in thick brush along the Brazos River. At
one point, he saw searchers pass within feet of his hiding place.
Dyer was captured Aug. 25 in Texas after a resident saw Dyer
walking shirtless down the street. Dyer told arresting deputies he
had walked to a nearby Sonic Restaurant for a cherry drink. He was carrying the drink at the
time he was captured.
Dyer was unarmed when he was captured, but told deputies he did have a gun at one point.
He said he disposed of the weapon “where it will never be found.”
Dyer had $1,500 in cash and a GPS in his possession when he was taken into custody.
Dyer was described as an “armed and dangerous” militia member and had posted numerous anti-government rants on You Tube.
Dyer claimed the charges were brought against him as “part of a federal government conspiracy” because of his political views.
Dyer sentenced to 30 years

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma
Department of Human Services to impact the huge social
problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the
child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts
order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
It’s ALL about the KIDS!
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they have a chance at a
productive life. Children have the right to get support from both parents and do not
lose this right when a parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children, taxpayers often pay the cost
of raising children. When children receive public assistance and their parents pay no
child support, all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

In the past few months, there have been many stories of high school teachers being arrested for having
sexual relationships with their students. Give us your
opinion: should teachers who have a sexual relationship with a student who is 17 or older be prosecuted?
Poll
Scarlet T: Yes they should be prosecuted, they are there to teach not have
sex with the kids, if they are still in school
teachers should have more control.
Mike M: YES, its not about the age but
the morality
Samantha W: not in the legal way
like registering as a sex offender.. but
definitely a professional way such as being fired. they ALL (teachers & students)
know what they’re doing is inappropriate
& far from professional, so some action
should be taken.. but when its consentual
it should be taken sooooooo extreme.
Jackilyn P: hell yes!! they should be
prosecuted!! they’re there to teach not
have sex.
Dakota M: Its supposed to be a professional business of teaching students,
not teaching students to have sex with
them and disobeying the law. If the student was done and graduated then that’s
their business but not while in school.
Coby P: If they’re the age of consent
and it’s not taking place in a school then
it’s not anybody’s business.
Adrian B: Yes, there is a huge differential in power between a teacher and a
student. Teachers who take advantage
of students are violating the teacher/
student relationship. Its never okay for a
teacher to date their students, even if the
students are college age.
Bobbie A: When you keep God out of
places the devil tends to get in and take
over!
JoAnn S:I know one of these teachers and it’s really a hard question to
answer. He is a really nice person and
has a family. He was really involved in
his sons lives and in sports with them.
Just to know him, you wouldn’t think he
would do something like that. But on the
other hand, it is against the law and anyone that breaks the law should be punished. However, it is a sin and I believe
that is between him and his God. AND
then there is the girl. She was 17. I was
also told it takes two. So if one is going to
be punished then both parties should be
punished.
Kari H: Of course. The question is
“Should the teacher who has sex with the
student be prosecuted”. Turn the question around “Should the student who had
sex with the teacher be prosecuted” and
most would say “yes”.
Maria H: hell yes!! they should be
prosecuted!! they’re there to teach not
have sex.
Robert F: Most of you are talking
about two different things 1) criminality
(2nd degree rape) and 2) morality. It is
legal for a 60 year old man to sleep with
a 16 year old girl. Why is that any better
than a 23 year old teacher and a 17 year
old? I don’t see a meaningful difference.
HOWEVER, it should be a fireable offense.
Christina G: Yes so it can show ppl
how serious this is. First of all, how dumb
can a teacher b to even think about getting w a student?Parents & caretakers
have trusted the school system by sending their kids to school based on EDUCATION, not to form a ‘special’ relationship
with a teacher. And imagine how things
will b for the student, as he or she gets
older, the memory of the ‘relationship’
with the teacher will b forever branded
n their mind....not Jen the school cheerleader or Jon from band class but a
freakin’ teacher. BTW.....a teacher n the
Okemah school system resigned a couple
of weeks ago due to an inappropriate relationship with a student. The mother
showed text messages between the teacher & student. But it was all hush-hush because the teacher is related to somebody
from the local newspaper office. My nieces who knew this teacher said she always
got back massages from the guys....now
this should not b something you should
hear about a teacher. What happened
to comments such as, ‘Mrs. Smith was
a great math tutor’ or ‘Mr. Smith made
biology so much more simple with his
methods.’ Maybe yearly psychological
tests should b done to teachers to avoid
any more mishaps.

An Alex man was arrested April
24 after another man looking to buy
Xanax pills reported being robbed during the deal.
Troy Russel Rouse, 28, reportedly
punched the man in the face, threatened him at knifepoint, took his money
and fled down an alley without providing the pills. Police apprehended him
at the 2300 block of South 16th Street
and found a large pocketknife after a
pat-down search, according to the affidavit.
Rouse also had $360 on him that
belonged to the victim, he said. He
claimed that the victim gave him the money “to buy some dope” and
that he took him to his place but intended to rip him off. Rouse denied punching the victim before taking the money.
The victim told officers that he met up with Rouse for the pills but
that Rouse threatened to stab him if he didn’t give him the money.
He reported giving Rouse $400. Police reported seeing a red mark
on the right side of the victim’s face that was consistent with being
punched.
Rouse’s girlfriend was on the scene to provide a getaway service
after the rip off was completed, according to the affidavit.
He was booked at the Grady County Jail, where officers found 18
Xanax pills in a bag on him.
Rouse was previously convicted of second-degree robbery in
March 2002. He received a nine-year prison sentence and was released May 10, 2011 on parole. He also has convictions of aggravated
assault and uttering a forged instrument, receiving prison terms for
both charges. He is on probation until 2016 for the assault charges.
Rouse was charged with first-degree robbery and is still in jail on a
$1 million bond. He will appear in court at 1:30 p.m. June 6.

Computer interconnectivity has produced enormous
benefits, but has also enabled criminal activity that exploits
this interconnectivity for financial gain and other malicious
purposes, such as internet fraud, child exploitation, identity
theft, and terrorism. The Internet can give identity thieves,
hackers, and scammers online access to your computer, financial and personal information and more. Additionally,
today’s mobile devices are well integrated with the internet
and have far more functionality than mobile phones of the
past. They are increasingly used in the same way as personal computers, potentially making
them susceptible to similar threats affecting computers connected to the Internet.
For youths, the internet often serves as a positive and powerful arena for socializing and
learning. However, the use of the internet also brings about risks to their safety, including
the dangers of sexual solicitation, online harassment and bullying, and exposure to illegal
content. By discussing responsible socializing and communicating, parents -- regardless of
whether they are technologically savvy -- can help their kids make better decisions about
online behavior.
Efforts to address cybercrime include activities associated with protecting networks and
information, detecting criminal activity, investigating crime, and prosecuting criminals,
. The Administration has taken significant steps to better protect America against cyber
threats and has developed a pragmatic and focused cyber-security legislative proposal for
Congress to consider. The proposed legislation is focused on improving cyber-security for
the American people, our Nation’s critical infrastructure, and the Federal Government’s own
networks and computers.

A Blanchard man is in jail on a $1
million bond after reportedly stabbing
his wife in the neck.
Clifford Dean McCraw, 35, was
charged April 23 with first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon,
domestic abuse and violating a protective order.
Grady County sheriffs allege that McCraw stabbed his wife during an argument about the protective order. The
couple’s two children witnessed the
stabbing, according to Sheriff Art Keil.
Deputies first responded to a call
around 8:30 April 22 for a domestic abuse in progress. McCraw’s
wife told her children to hide and he entered their home through the
bedroom window, she said.
She tried to tase him, but he overpowered her by throwing her
to the ground and kicking her repeatedly in the stomach, according
to the affidavit. He then reportedly took a pocketknife and stabbed
her, went outside to sit in his truck and re-entered to see their children screaming. He waited outside the residence for the police to
arrive, the affidavit says.
The wife was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. She
has since been released.
McCraw was previously charged with domestic abuse in Jan. 2008
but pleaded no contest to simple assault and battery in a plea deal.
The couple has been married since Sept. 2002, according to court
records. McCraw filed for divorce Mar. 8 and his wife filed the protective order a few weeks later.
In the protective order, she claims that McCraw habitually stalks
her and harasses her with phone calls and texts. She also contends
her son returns home with bruises when he visits McCraw and that
he has strangled her in the past.

Answer: The first
thing to understand in this discussion is that there is
only one race—the
human race. Caucasians, Africans,
Asians, Indians, Arabs, and Jews are
not different races.
Rather, they are different ethnicities of the human race. All human
beings have the same physical characteristics (with minor variations, of course). More importantly, all human beings are created
in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God loved the
world so much that He sent Jesus to lay down His life for us (John
3:16). The “world” obviously includes all ethnic groups.
God does not show partiality or favoritism (Deuteronomy 10:17;
Acts 10:34; Romans 2:11; Ephesians 6:9), and neither should
we. James 2:4 describes those who discriminate as “judges with
evil thoughts.” Instead, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves
(James 2:8). All forms of racism, prejudice, and discrimination are
affronts to the work of Christ on the cross.
Jesus commands us to love one another as He loves us (John
13:34). If God is impartial and loves us with impartiality, then we
need to love others with that same high standard. Jesus teaches in
Matthew 25 that whatever we do to the least of His brothers, we
do to Him. If we treat a person with contempt, we are mistreating
a person created in God’s image; we are hurting somebody whom
God loves and for whom Jesus died.
Racism, in varying forms and to various degrees, has been a
plague on humanity for thousands of years. Brothers and sisters of
all ethnicities, this should not be. Victims of racism, prejudice, and
discrimination need to forgive. Ephesians 4:32 declares, “Be kind
and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in
Christ God forgave you.” Racists may not deserve your forgiveness,
but we deserved God’s forgiveness far less.
What does the Bible say about Anger?

OBSTRUCTING OFFICER
Chickasha police officers arrested
two men and one woman April 26
after receiving a tip about a prostitute performing services for them
in a Super 8 motel room.
Christen Workinger, 27, Dustin
Lane, 26, from Lawrence, Kan., and
Travis Currence, 30, from Douglasville, Geor., now face charges of
possession of controlled substances
and possession of paraphernalia.
Currence also received a charge of
possession of marijuana.
Officers went to the second floor
of the motel at 4:20 a.m., where
they smelled burnt marijuana coming from the room. After a
consented search, police found a spoon with white residue, a
bag of cocaine, two pipes with marijuana residue, rolling papers and a metal container with pills identified as morphine
and hydromorphone, according to the affidavit.
The residue on the spoon tested positive for cocaine, police
say.
Lane identified the pills, pipe and rolling papers as his. All
denied knowing the origin of the cocaine and marijuana.
Possession of controlled substances carries a sentence between two to 10 years in prison.
Currence has a previous arrest in February 2011 in Georgia
for violating the terms of his probation for driving with a revoked license.
Workinger’s booking sheet says he is an independent contractor in Kansas.
Currence was released on a $5,000 bond April 30. Lane and
Workinger were released May 2 on the same bond.
All will appear in court at 1:30 p.m. June 6 for their preliminary hearings.

Daiquiri Miller, a 34-year-old Tulsa woman, was jailed after a seventh
child was removed from her care after
the child tested positive for cocaine.
According to Tulsa Police, Miller’s
latest child (born on March 31st)
tested positive for cocaine after she
admitted to using marijuana, cocaine
and alcohol every single day during
her pregnancy.
She also asked health officials
“what took you so long” when they
arrived to take the child into protective custody.
Investigators say seven children have been removed from Miller’s custody over the years because of her continued drug use.
In 2000, 2009, and 2010, Miller gave birth to children who
tested positive for cocaine and marijuana when they were born. In
2009, she asked a health services worker “So are you taking him or
what” during an investigation.
On three other occasions, Miller had children taken away by the
Department of Human Services on accusations of abuse. In 1997,
a three month old was taken because of a suspicious broken leg.
In 1999, a child was taken after police became aware of her drug
use and feared neglect. In 2006, officers caught Miller smoking
cocaine next to her four-month-old daughter in a vehicle.
Miller has also been been arrested several times on prostitution
charges. Investigators say she solicited an undercover officer in
February while pregnant.
Miller was booked into the Tulsa City Jail and charged with child
abuse and two counts of prostitution. Her bail was set at $250,500.
