Like true historic
adventure accounts?
The Bible has them.
Korah learned that
God’s power is greater
than his.
Korah complained
against Moses, but
God chose Moses to
lead Israel. Moses
tells him, “Therefore
you and all your
company are gathered
together against the
Lord” (read Numbers
16:16 in your Bible).
God takes it personally when we don’t honor His servants.
Moses was chosen to lead Israel, but the people grumbled.
They didn’t get what they wanted. We are no different than
Korah and his friends.
We don’t take responsibility to change ourselves, we keep
doing the same things, and when we’re caught or suffer, we
complain and blame others.
What happened to Korah? Read it for yourself in your
own Bible, Numbers 16:28-38. Imagine the horror of this
tragic event! Can history repeat itself? Yes!
Bible Says:
History Repeats Itself

It’s a gas, gas, gas
A Davis woman was arrested after police found her inhaling laughing gas at the office of her previous
employer.
According to the affidavit, Davis
police were on patrol Oct. 4 when
they received a call in reference to a
burglary in progress at a local dentist office.
When they arrived, the owner of
the property told them that his exemployee, Sheryl Lynne Clark, 48,
had broken into his office and was
lying on the floor inhaling nitrous
oxide gas.
When police entered the room, they saw Clark lying on
the floor; she appeared to be inhaling nitrous oxide gas.
The officers told Clark to get off the floor. She finally took
off the breathing apparatus and attempted to stand up. The
woman was flying high on some laughing gas and the officers had to help her to her feet.
She appeared to be very relaxed (well, duh!), had trouble
following simple commands, was walking slowly, passing
gas and her eyes were red and watery.
The gas-filled burglar asked why she was being arrested
and after officers reminded her that she had broken into an
office and was inhaling laughing gas, she told them that her
back was hurting and that’s why she had been inhaling the
gas.
Police asked her is she was certified to administer the gas
and she said yes, she went to dental school.
Clark was arrested and transported to jail.
She is being charged with second-degree burglary. Her
bond was set at $6,706 and she is scheduled to appear in
court on Nov. 15, 2013.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol
This month’s Tips is less of a tip
than it is a serious request for help
from you, the motoring public. I would like to make a personal
appeal to each and every reader who sees this to help us Troopers
try to eliminate one of the toughest jobs that we ever have to do. It
is something that everyone who drives can have an impact on.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is tasked with the investigation
of motor vehicle accidents on the public roadways outside the city
limits in the State of Oklahoma. In the course of this, we investigate
a huge number of fatalities. For each fatality victim, it is the duty
of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to personally notify the next of
kin. For each life lost, there is a knock on a door somewhere, where
an OHP Trooper has to deliver news that will forever change the
lives of the person or persons on the other side. Sadly, these knocks
on the door could have been prevented by somebody involved in
the accident. Sometimes it’s the person who died whose unsafe or
unlawful action caused the accident that took their life. Often times
it is not.
Each and every Trooper you see working the roads every day has
had to knock on that door. I think if you asked, every single one
would tell you this is the worst aspect of our job. Trying to prevent
this is one of the reasons we do what we do. We know if we work
hard, we can stop some of these knocks. We also know the motoring
public can help us stop some of these knocks as well. The following
are just a few ways for you to do your part to help.
First and foremost, obey the law. It really doesn’t matter if
your personal opinion of the rules of the road don’t make sense,
or shouldn’t apply in certain situations. Each one of them is
designed for us to travel safely on the road. Slow down, and give
your full, undivided attention to the road. Watch out for the other
driver. When you see something happening ahead of you, slow
down! “I was late”, or “I was texting” just doesn’t cut it as responses
to a grieving family when they ask why this happened. Is it
something you could live with if it was your reason for taking a life?
The people on the other side of that knock aren’t the only ones
affected by the experience. We Troopers have all held strangers as
the initial horror and shock of the news takes hold of them. We
have all prayed with families we just met, and asked if we could have
done more to prevent it. Each and every day we are trying to stop
The Knock. Now I’m asking you to help us. Thanks for reading,
buckle up, and be safe!
Tips from a Trooper

He said, she said
A Wynnewood woman was arrested after her estranged husband
tipped off police that she might be
ridin’ dirty.
On Oct. 7, a Pauls Valley police officer was on patrol when he passed a
car being driven by Emmily Diannia
Al Saadi, 35. According to the affidavit, Al Saadi’s husband had called
the police department earlier and
told them that his wife was driving
around selling meth and pills.
The officer conducted a traffic stop
and pulled Al Saadi’s vehicle over.
He asked Al Saadi and her female passenger to step out of the
vehicle. Al Saadi told the officer that there might be meth in the
vehicle, but if there was, her husband had put it in there. The
officer asked when the last time he had access to the vehicle
was, and she told him that they were separated and he hadn’t
had access to the vehicle that she knew of. She then told the
officer several times that there wouldn’t be anything illegal in
her vehicle.
The officer informed her of the information he had received
of her selling drugs. She denied that she was selling meth and
pills and denied the officer consent to search her car.
A Garvin County deputy arrived with his K-9 and the dog
alerted for drugs on the vehicle. Police conducted a search of
the car and found a baggie containing pills.
The officer spoke to the passenger who told him that she
was just getting a ride from Al Saadi and wasn’t aware that
there was anything in the vehicle. She said she watched Al Saadi place a small baggy with a few Xanax pills under the seat
and another small baggy under the console. From the officer’s
training and experience, he was able to deduce that the pills
were packaged for sale.
Police checked under the console and found a set of digital
scales and a small plastic baggy that contained a white crystal
substance that later tested positive for meth.
Al Saadi was transported to jail; she was placed in a holding
cell where she was later found crying and saying “I had meth
on me” repeatedly.
Al Saadi is being charged with possession of a controlled
dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $2,000 and she is scheduled to
appear in court on Nov. 15, 2013.

Police and family
looking for
missing teen
The family of a missing Wilson teen is reaching
out to the community for help.
Last month officials held a meeting with the family of Molly Miller who disappeared in early July.
Miller’s family is speaking out about the ongoing
search effort.
The family of the missing Wilson girl, Molly Miller, says that both she and Colt Haines disappeared
after a police chase in northern Love County.
“As far as anyone actually hearing Molly’s voice
that was July 8th,” said Paula Fielder, Miller’s cousin. “And nobody’s heard from her since.”
The family says they have gathered phone records and messages that put Miller and Haines’ last
known location to be in the area of Pike Road in
Love County.
“At this time we believe they are deceased and
it’s according to information we’ve obtained,” said
Fielder.
But the search continues.
Fielder says Oklahoma Highway Patrol has been searching in the area for signs of
Miller and Haines the past couple of days.
Meanwhile the family has not been idle. They recently opened up a bank account
naming it “Operation Find Molly” to help pay for fees and rewards. With funds
raised from t-shirts and jewelry bearing Molly’s name.
“Words can’t describe, you know, the support we’ve got....it’s amazing,” said Garrett Lambert, Molly’s brother.
While the millers remain hopeful, they say their ready for the search to be over.
“We just need closure in this,” Fielder said. “Molly is not the type of child who
would miss her grandpa or her brother’s birthday and she has missed both. Without
a phone call without anything.”
“We need to bring her home,” Fielder said.
“Not having Molly here has been tough,” said Lambert. “Molly’s not only my sister,
she’s my friend. I just miss her.”
The family says the reward now for specific information regarding Molly and Colt’s
location is now at 10,000 dollars.
If you have any information contact Wilson Police or Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma Department of Human Services to impact the huge
social problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they
have a chance at a productive life. Children have the right to get
support from both parents and do not lose this right when a
parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children,
taxpayers often pay the cost of raising children. When children
receive public assistance and their parents pay no child support,
all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

THREATEN TO PERFORM ACT OF
VIOLENCE
Oklahoma couple Elizabeth Pester, 33, and Mark Knapp,
48, have been jailed after they nearly starved their 3-year-old
daughter to death while they allegedly immersed themselves in
an online video game.
Second Life, an online 3d world where players can create an
entirely new virtual identity and then interact with other players
using that identity, became more than a game to Elizabeth
Pester and Mark Knapp.
It almost became a death sentence for the couple’s 3-year-old
daughter, who withered away while her parents spent the bulk
of their time on a computer, pretending to be a married couple in their new virtual world.
According to police, the problem began almost immediately after the child’s birth.
Investigators say DHS agents took the couple’s newborn into protective custody just a couple of
weeks after her birth. Case workers noted that Pester and Knapp had refused to spend much time with
the newborn, and the child was having feeding issues as a result.
In 2011, the child was returned to her parents in healthy condition, however it didn’t take long before
the feeding issue returned, and in a far more severe way.
In June, 2012, the little girl was taken to a local hospital where she weighed just 13 pounds and
appeared seriously malnourished. DHS responded by referring the child’s parents to a therapist who
would weigh the child on a weekly basis. That therapist saw the child just four times and weighed the
child twice over a five month period, according to court documents.
Pester and Knapp have been booked into the Tulsa County jail and charged with child abuse and
neglect. Bond has been set at $50,000 each.

Southern exposure
Benjamin James Stewart, 39, was
arrested after neighbors said the
Rosedale man was sitting stark naked in his doorway, exposing himself to a mom and her daughters.
On Oct. 6, a McClain County deputy was dispatched to a Rosedale
residence. The reporting party told
the officer that her neighbor, later
identified as Stewart, had been exposing himself in his front doorway. She said that for most of the
evening, Stewart had had his chair
pulled up to his front door and was watching her house.
When she was ready to go to bed, she turned off the lights
and looked outside. That’s when she saw it — Stewart had
completely opened his door and was rubbing himself.
The victim’s daughter heard her mom exclaim, “Oh my
gosh!” and ran to see what was wrong. She, too, unfortunately was exposed to Stewart being nasty in his doorway.
She said Stewart was sitting in his chair naked and had
pulled it up to the front door as if he wanted people to see
his junk.
The deputy spoke with Stewart and he was surprisingly
frank about what he had been doing in the doorway. He
told the deputy, “The honest truth, I was masturbating.”
The deputy asked if he had moved his chair to the front
door so people could see what he was doing and he said yes.
James is being charged with indecent exposure. His bond
was set at $2,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on
Nov. 13, 2013.

A night he soon won’t forget
Rogelio Andaverde, a 34-year-old Texas man, was jailed Oct 10
after he allegedly faked his own kidnapping in an effort to dump
his wife for a night of partying.
According to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, Andaverde
and his wife were home at around 10:30 p.m. that night when two
masked men broke into their home and kidnapped Andaverde at
gunpoint.
Investigators say the Sheriff’s Office launched a manhunt, but
called it off a few hours later when no leads developed on the case.
Andaverde arrived back home that morning, explaining to his
wife that his captors “just let him go.”
When officers arrived on the scene to interview Andaverde,
something about his explanation didn’t sound right to them.
Andaverde was taken into custody and interviewed again at the Sheriff’s Office.
He reportedly admitted to investigators that he fabricated the kidnapping because he
wanted to go out drinking with his friends.
“I don’t think his wife appreciated being kept until 4 or 5 in the morning, being interviewed
by the cops while her husband was out doing who knows what with who knows who,” said
Hidalgo County Sheriff, Guadalupe Trevino. “He’s going to have a lot of answering to do.”
Andaverde was booked into jail and charged with making a false report to police. He was
released after posting $5,000 bail.

You’re in trouble,
no butts about it!
A Cyrill man found himself in trouble
after police found drug paraphernalia on
him where the sun don’t shine.
On Sept. 27, a McClain County deputy
initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that
was speeding on Highway 39. He made
contact with the driver, Don Andrew
Brett Snider, 27, and informed him of the
reason for the stop.
Dispatch informed the deputy that
Snider had a warrant out of Caddo County. He placed them man under arrest and asked Snider if he
had any weapons, illegal drugs or drug related items in his possession or in his vehicle. Snider said that he did not.
The deputy told Snider that if any of the contraband items
were found on him at the jail, he would be charged with a crime.
Police searched Snider’s vehicle and found black bag that
contained a plastic bag with a white residue, which field-tested positive for meth. Snider confirmed that the black bag belonged to him. The deputy informed him that he was going
to be charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Things were just starting to get bad for Snider, however.
Once at the jail, Snider was searched during the booking process. Apparently, a syringe became dislodged from his “anal
cavity” and fell to the floor when he was instructed to bend
over.
Snider is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 6, 2013.

A woman in Florida got so excited after stealing
a family’s Apple technology that she decided to take
some selfi es of her own. She had stolen an iPad
and an iPod Touch out of their car while they were
visiting one of Florida’s regional parks. Apparently
not realizing that photos taken on an Apple device
will show up on the computer, her selfi es surfaced
on the family’s iCloud account two weeks later. All of
these pictures are able to be located geographically.
A middle-aged man was stopped by police as he
rode his horse down the streets of Colorado. Why?
He was seen hitting the horse, but told the police
there was a fl y on his head. Further investigation
revealed that he had a small gun, a pug (yes, you
understood correctly), and beer cans in tow. Not
surprisingly, he failed an intoxication test and was
charged with animal cruelty, possession of weapons,
and drunk riding.
Have you ever accidentally gotten high? Like,
you thought it was a normal brownie, or normal
mushrooms. But nope, turns out you’re absolutely
tripping. Good luck explaining that one to the
police. The only thing less convincing than that is…
”accidentally” growing marijuana on your property.
This is exactly what happened to a 73 year old man,
who claims he found the seeds in a random box and
decided to plant them. Lo and behold, up grows
some weed. The man showed no sign of being a
pot smoker, yet paid the $200 dollar ticket without
argument anyway. Hopefully he’ll stay away from
mystery seeds from now on.
How impatient do you get when waiting for your
food to microwave? Worse yet is when you fi nally
think it’s done, but the plate is a burning fi re disc
from the sun’s core and your food could have been
found in the fur of a frozen wooly mammoth from
the arctic. How mad would you get? Hopefully not
angry enough to use the microwave as a weapon, like
a guy in St. Louis. A 43 year old man and a 36 year
old man got into a heated argument over “personal
matters”, resulting in a knife being pulled and a
microwave oven being thrown. Both were admitted
to the hospital with serious forehead wounds. I
don’t remember these being part of the Easy Mac
directions???
We’ve all seen those movies about crazy people
who believe demons live in their house, right?
Terrifying stuff , but the demons are probably more
scared of you than you are of them. Just…grab a
big shoe. And kill all the fl ies so they have nothing
to eat. Oh. Maybe I’m thinking of something else,
something scarier. One guy in Arizona was so
freaked out he almost burnt down the house. With
his roommates still home, he started a fi re in his
bedroom closet where he believed they were hiding.
He used paint thinner, and is reported to have been
reciting Bible verses. He said he had planned to tell
the police but forgot, and he was admitted to the
hospital with burns on his feet. The important thing
is, the house is now 100% demon free.

Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a substitute
teacher after students reported she was intoxicated and passed
out in a classroom office at Millwood High School.
April Chamberlain, 30, was supposed to be acting as a
substitute in a biology class. Students said she appeared
disoriented and used profanity. When students found
Chamberlain asleep in the office, they contacted a coach, who
informed the principal.
The principal said after she repeatedly shouted and tapped
Chamberlain on the shoulder, the substitute woke up. The principal said
Chamberlain had blood-shot eyes and smelled strongly of alcohol.
When a deputy arrived, she saw an open bottle of Canadian Whisky in
Chamberlain’s purse. The deputy also noted Chamberlain kept slurring and was
unsteady on her feet.
Chamberlain was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail for public
drunkenness.

More than 100,000 children and youth in the
U.S. foster care system are awaiting permanent
families. National Adoption Month is a time to
raise awareness about the adoption of children
and youth from foster care.
The Children’s Bureau in partnership with
AdoptUSKids and Child Welfare Information
Gateway sponsors the initiative each November
as a way to focus public attention on the urgent
need for adoptive families for children and
youth waiting in foster care for a permanent
family. This year’s focus, “Partnering for Permanency,” builds on the social media theme
from last year. A special web page on Information Gateway’s website helps child welfare
professionals, prospective adoptive parents, and youth partner for permanency. The website
contains resources, stories, and videos on topics such as getting started with social media,
how to build a recruitment campaign, and how social media impacts child welfare and
adoption. The website can be found at http://www.childwelfare.gov/adoption/nam.
