HOW LOW CAN YOU GO?
Two career criminals were at it again recently
after they stooped so low as to rip off a little old
lady of almost $5000.
David Andrew Steakley, 47, of Mayesville, and
Alan Craig Traffansted, 57, of Byars, were both
charged March 18 with violation of ok statue via
computer, conspiracy, and financial exploitation of
an elderly person, in Garvin County District Court.
According to court documents, last December, Steakley and Traffansted allegedly withdrew
$809.98 from an ATM machine at the Jet Stream
Casino in Pauls Valley. Only thing is, the money did
not belong to them… it belonged to an 82-yearold woman who had suffered a stroke.
Also, if that wasn’t enough, they are also accused of withdrawing $3707.26 from the elderly lady’s bank account between December 23
through December 28 at the Jet Stream Casino
and the Washita Valley Casino in Paoli. Another
woman, who has not been charged as of press
time, allegedly helped them accomplish the deed.
Bond for Steakley was set at $2000 and is
scheduled to appear in court for his preliminary
hearing conference on April 24, 2026.
Traffansted’s bond was set at $10,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court
on May 1 for proof of attorney.

SOUGHT
We are asking for our community’s assistance
in identifying the person in this photo.
The individual pictured is the suspect in the
September 2024 homicide of Lindsay Price.
Because we have followed all leads in the case
thus far, and every suspect that was known to us
was excluded by DNA evidence we are asking for
the publics help.
We believe the suspect pictured to be a male and is approximately 5’ 10” - 6’
1” in height. Unfortunately that is all of the descriptors we have at this time due
to the suspect concealing themselves with oversized clothing, mask, gloves,
boots, and hat.
If you have information that would help us
to identify this individual, please contact us at
any, or all, of the following: 1-800-522-8017 or,

THE SMELL OF
MONEY
A K9 deputy and his human partner sniffed out
an alleged marijuana trafficker after the car the
suspect was driving failed to abide by simple traffic laws.
Chan To Tran, 52, of Oklahoma City, was
charged March 16 with trafficking in illegal drugs,
in Love County District Court.
According to Sheriff Cumberledge, on March
15, a Love County deputy was keeping an eye on traffic near the Justice Center
when he saw a car zooming south on Highway 77. It was acting strangely, constantly slamming on the brakes and weaving back and forth in its lane. Thinking
the driver might be having a medical problem or driving under the influence, the
deputy decided to follow the car.
As he followed, the driver’s erratic behavior only got worse, swerving out of
his lane and into oncoming traffic. The deputy pulled over the car near Burkhart
road and Highway 77.
The deputy got out and spoke with the driver, identified as Tran, about his
driving. During the conversation, he noticed things that made them think the
driver might be involved in something more serious than just the traffic violations.
K9 Bobby was called in to sniff the car, and he let them know something was
off. The deputy then searched the car and found about 168 lbs of marijuana
packed in 1-lb vacuum-sealed bags in the trunk. The marijuana was believed to
be destined for Texas.
Tran was arrested; the marijuana and the car were confiscated.
Bond for Tran was set at $50,000 and he is schedule for his preliminary hearing conference on May 6, 2026.

THAT'S METHED UP!
On Sunday morning, February
1st, 2026, at approximately 3:42
a.m., deputies with the Iredell
County, North Carolina, Sheriff’s
Office responded to a commercial burglar alarm at a business
located on Sharon School Road.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a ladder positioned at the rear of
the building, fresh footprints in the snow, and a broken window. The
business owner was contacted and responded to the scene. Deputies
discovered a damaged safe inside the business and a missing money
box containing approximately $1,800 in cash. The owner also reported
that several hundred dollars’ worth of merchandise had been stolen.
Sergeant N. Hodges and his canine partner Levi, arrived on scene to
assist. Deputies and Canine Levi followed the suspect’s track behind
the business toward the area of Goble Road. During the track, deputies located the missing money box, which had been emptied, along
with additional evidence believed to have been dropped by the suspect. The track continued to Goble Road, where deputies determined
the suspect appeared to have been picked up by a vehicle.
Due to limited vehicle traffic in the area during the winter storm, deputies were able to follow the vehicle tracks a short distance to a nearby
neighborhood. The tracks ended at a residence on Arborgate Loop.
At the residence, deputies located a vehicle in the driveway that appeared to have been recently driven. Deputies also observed shoe
prints consistent with those found at the crime scene leading from
the vehicle into the residence. Deputies made contact with the occupants, identified as Jana Lynn Parsons and Arthur Lee Oxendale. Both
individuals denied knowledge of the break-in and were uncooperative
with deputies.
Based on evidence leading deputies to the residence, detectives with the Criminal Investigations
Division responded. Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at the home, resulting in the
recovery of some of the stolen property.
Following the investigation, detectives determined Arthur Lee Oxendale, 53, had broken into the
business and stolen cash and merchandise. Investigators also determined Jana Lynn Parsons, 51,
assisted Oxendale by picking him up in her vehicle and transporting him back to her residence. Arrest warrants were obtained for both individuals, and they were taken into custody and transported
to the Iredell County Detention Center.
After his arrest, Oxendale was also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Arthur Lee Oxendale, 53, was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny after B&E,
Felony Safecracking, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, and Misdemeanor Possess Drug
Paraphernalia. Arthur Oxendale is currently being held under No Bond was issued.
Jana Lynn Parsons, 51, was charged with Felony Conspiracy and was issued a $10,000 bond.

AROUND THE STATE
On March 17, 2026, around 4:45 p.m., Tulsa
Police Officers responded to a robbery at Charlie’s
Chicken near 48th and 33rd West Ave.
The employees said a man in a camouflage ski
mask and jacket with a large golden handcuffs design passed them a note saying he had a weapon
and demanded money from the cash register.
Employees gave him cash from the registers,
and he walked out toward the street before Officers arrived. Officers canvassed
the area but didn’t find the suspect at the time.
About three hours later, Deputies with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO)
spotted 27-year-old Caleb Collins walking up to his parents’ home about a block
away from the scene of the robbery.
Collins matched the description of the robbery suspect and was wearing the
same jacket with a golden handcuffs design. Deputies alerted Tulsa Police Officers, who arrived at the home to take Collins into custody.
Officers served a search warrant on the home, finding the stolen cash, the
mask, and the note used in the robbery in Collins’s bedroom.
Robbery Detectives interviewed Collins, who
eventually admitted to the crime.
He was arrested and booked into the Tulsa
County Jail for:

COLD CASE
FILES
Pamela Gail Long, 25, was last seen leaving the
babysitter’s home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on May 2nd,
1982. Her body was found on May 5th, 1982 on a oil
lease near Kiefer, Oklahoma. Her case remains open
and unsolved.
Pamela was last seen at 10 pm on May 2nd leaving
her children’s babysitter’s home in the vicinity of 800
E. Dewey and the 300 block of N. Mission in Sapulpa,
Oklahoma. She was last seen driving an early-1970 four-door white over blue Chevrolet.
There was damage to the right side and the left headlight was missing. There is no information on whether the vehicle was ever found.
Her body was discovered by employees of a Gulf Oil lease near Kiefer, Oklahoma
around May 3rd but they believed her body was a mannequin due to a prank recently
pulled on site where mannequins were left on property. On May 5th, at 9:30 am, they
called the police when they realized the body was not a mannequin. She was identified
as Pamela through fingerprints. It’s likely she was killed elsewhere and dumped in the
remote area she was discovered. It’s also likely the killer was familiar with the area. Cause
of death was found to be strangulation. In the first 10 weeks of the investigation Creek
County Sheriff’s Department and the OSBI put in 700 man hours interviewing over 50
people and following up on leads. There have been no arrests in the case.
Pamela Gail Snellgrove was born October 23rd, 1956 to Gene Snellgrove and Mary
Ellen Vaughn. She went on to marry Larry Long and they had three children together.

Stuck under the overpass
On Monday, March 16, 2026, around 1:30 PM, deputies from
the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department (Illinois) were called to
a business on the 8800 block of Summer Road, in the area between Columbia and Waterloo, because someone had reported
some damage and a possible break-in.
When they got there, they spoke with the owner of a storage
unit business and found out that the main gate to the business had been cut and taken off.
They also learned that a trailer on the property had been targeted, with the lock cut and removed, and the trailer had been driven in.
About three hours later, they found the suspect vehicle—a Budget rental box truck—in the
Dupo area.
The investigators watched the box truck and tried to stop it, but it took off, leading to a
chase that went onto the levee road between Dupo and Cahokia Heights. The car finally got
stuck under the Route 3 overpass.
The investigators saw the only person in the box truck, who obviously did not want to get
out. He was then seen trying to swallow something that looked like drugs, and they also
reached for what looked like a gun inside the car.
At that point, the investigators had to use some force to make sure everyone was safe,
breaking the box truck’s windows and using tasers. The person kept trying to resist, but they
were finally taken into custody.
After looking into it more, the thing the suspect reached for turned out to be a BB gun that
looked a lot like a real gun.
The suspect got a few minor cuts and was taken to a local hospital by MedStar EMS for
treatment.
Arthur Hunziker, 38, from Belleville, Illinois was charged with two counts of Criminal Damage
to Property, and two counts of Burglary.
Hunziker is still in custody at the Monroe County Jail, waiting for the court to take its next
steps.

REPORT RECEIVED
A Blanchard man was taken into custody after a report of inappropriate behavior towards a minor was
received by the McClain County Sheriff’s Office.
Rhett Nathan Vaughn, 22, was charged March 11
with rape second degree, rape by instrumentation,
and lewd acts with a child under 16, in McClain County District Court.
According to a press release by the McClain County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), investigators initiated an investigation after receiving
information regarding inappropriate sexual conduct involving a juvenile victim.
During the course of the investigation, investigators conducted interviews and
collected evidence related to the reported incidents.
Based on the information obtained during the investigation, investigators developed probable cause to believe that Vaughn committed multiple felony offenses. The case was presented to the McClain County District Attorney’s Office,
and charges were subsequently filed.
On March 10, a search warrant was executed on Vaughn. He was then taken
into custody and booked into the McClain County Jail.
Bond was set at $25,000 and he was ordered back to court on May 13 for his
preliminary hearing conference.
Anyone who may have additional information related to this case is encouraged to contact the McClain County Sheriff’s Office.

(Get ready for “Dad” jokes...)
A Cuban national “meats” detectives, who grill him about
a string of meaty thefts at two Palm Coast markets in Florida,
after his appetite for prime cuts proved costly.
Deputies arrested Heannys O. Alvarez Reyna, 30, of Jacksonville, for retail theft after they determined he had beefed up
his freezer with nearly $4,000 worth of stolen steaks, roasts
and lamb – tenderly removing them from store shelves without
paying a single buck.
On Jan. 5, surveillance footage captured Alvarez Reyna around 7:43 p.m. at the Belle Terre Crossings Publix, where he tenderly selected $1,574.86 in premium beef and lamb before making a clean
cut for the exit. Less than 20 minutes later, Alvarez Reyna drove to the Island Walk at Palm Coast
Publix, padding his pack with $2,084 worth of pork, top sirloin, brisket, tenderloin, and personal
care products.
Through investigative means, detectives identified Alvarez Reyna as the driver of the suspect
vehicle from both thefts. Alvarez Reyna later told detectives that after his stealing spree, he drove to
his girlfriend’s residence, only to discover she was there cooking with another man, which prompted
him to toss most of the stolen meat.
“This wasn’t just a case of someone trying to ‘meat’ their budget. This was a calculated, ‘highsteaks operation’ that left two stores with significant losses,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly.
“While this suspect’s selection was choice, his method wasn’t kosher. He really tried to milk the
system and by now he’s found out that the Green Roof Inn does not serve premium meats.”
Alvarez Reyna, who is a Cuban national, was arrested for felony retail theft and transported to the
Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where he is being held on a $5,000 bond in addition to a
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.
“His relationship may have been past its prime, but stealing isn’t the way to cure what ails you.
The bottom line is this: If you steal from our stores, we will catch you and you will ‘meat’ the consequences,” Sheriff Staly added.
