Orlando, Florida — 19-year-old Miya Marcano has been missing since Friday as her family holds onto hope and puts up missing persons posters in Orlando.
Marcano is a Valencia College student and was last seen at her residence at the Arden Villa apartments around 5 p.m. on Friday.
Marcano’s family shared details about a building maintenance worker, identified as Armando Manuel Caballero, having interest in Marcano. Marcano was not interested in Caballero, but according to her family, the 27-year-old continued to make contact with Marcano via text. Her family explained that it made Marcano feel uneasy, according to ABC News.
According to authorities, Caballero had access to all apartments and they stated that his key fob was used to enter Marcano’s apartment the day she went missing. Marcano’s jewelry was found broken on the floor and her bed was described as messy.
Authorities revealed that Caballero was found deceased of a possible suicide on Monday.
