Bartlesville bank embezzlement suspect caught with meth, MDMA, loose oxycodone, and diazepam

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Okla. – A bank employee was arrested in Bartlesville for allegedly embezzling money from a client account.

Authorities say Tricia Rae Evans illegally withdrew money from a bank customer’s account on seven separate occasions.

The total amount withdrawn was $8,450.

Evans reportedly wrote on each withdrawal slip “per customer request.”

Bank surveillance video captured the suspect running each transaction.

Police say Evans remained silent for 25 minutes during the initial interview with detectives.

The suspect has not admitted to the embezzlement claims but reportedly wrote the victim an apology letter.

Evans was arrested, and upon jail booking, officers found MDMA, meth, loose oxycodone, and diazepam pills in the suspect’s possession.

Evans faces felony charges of embezzlement and bringing contraband into the jail. (image/ref. Bartlesville Radio)
