OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – An arrest was made at Foxy Nails on Northeast 23rd Street after Oklahoma City police say the suspect took them on a police chase that turned to a hostage situation.
Not much has been reported on the moments that led to a hostage at the OKC nail salon, Thursday evening.
Prior to the hostage situation, according to KFOR, a police pursuit was initiated that required intervention by OKC police, Midwest City officers, and Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Following the pursuit, the suspect stopped at Foxy Nails, holding hostage those inside the business.
The number of hostages is currently unknown. Authorities noted that the suspect was armed during the hostage situation.
Police were able to arrest the suspect with no injuries reported thus far.
