TULSA, Okla. – Terry Bayless of Broken Arrow was arrested for multiple offenses after police say a chase was initiated after a traffic stop.
According to Tulsa police, Bayless attempted to elude officers by driving right into oncoming traffic.
The suspect’s vehicle was allegedly stolen, and police say Bayless left the Tahoe in gear when he escaped by foot.
Children were reportedly playing in the parking lot ofan apartment community at E Young and N 71st St where the vehicle was left in gear.
According to Tulsa PD, Bayless fled the vehicle and broken into one of the apartments in the community.
The residents of the apartment notified police from their balcony.
Bayless was arrested for multiple offenses and wanted on warrants. The suspect’s alleged crimes include:
– Burglary 1st Degree
– Possession of a stolen vehicle
– Hit and run
– False impersonation
– Eluding
– Falsely personate another to create liability
– Possession of a firearm
Bayless is also being held for the Osage County Sheriff’s Office. His bonds totaled $312,000.00. (KTUL)
