El Paso strip club owner arrested for alleged human trafficking involvement

EL PASO, Texas – The 35-year-old owner of Outskirts Gentlemen’s Club is accused of sex trafficking in El Paso County.

According to reports, Mario Josue Escajeda was arrested during a multi-agency operation for allegedly promoting prostitution, having warrants, and unlawfully carrying weapons.

The joint sting operation was reportedly conducted at a hotel in El Paso, where authorities say the suspect showed up with four women that ranged from the ages of 19 to 39. Escajeda also had two concealed guns on him along with a wad of cash.

A search warrant was issued at Escajeda’s gentlemen’s club after his arrest. The El Paso County Attorney’s Office shut the business down for operating without a license along with illegal alcohol sales.

An additional arrest was made at the strip club in relation to serving alcohol without a license.
