MAN WANTED FOR STEALING A RIDING LAWN MOWER FROM HOMEOWNER

TULSA, Okla. — At 3:20 p.m. on July 19th, Officers responded to a burglary call at a home near 1500 N. 70th W. Pl.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage and discovered that the man in the photos pried a door open to get inside the homeowner’s barn. Not long afterward, the suspect can be seen riding away on a Cub Cadet XT1 hauling a trailer with yard tools inside.

The homeowner, who was home at the time, tried to track down the suspect once he realized the barn had been broken into, but was unable to find him.

According to the Tulsa Police Department, there was more than likely a truck and trailer waiting nearby to be used for the burglary. “Given the Cub Cadet’s blazing max speed of 6.2 mph, it seems unlikely that he jumped on the turnpike,” the Tulsa P.D. Facebook post said.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man in the photos to contact Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS and reference case 2023-034455.
