Oklahoma police chief arrested after alleged evidence room theft

Mayes County, Okla. – According to authorities, the Locust Grove Police Chief was arrested Friday in his alleged involvement in drug and weapon theft.

Charles Williams is accused of stealing from the police department’s evidence room. The stolen evidence included drugs and weapons.

According to police, Williams was reportedly under investigation for alleged drug use. Williams was taken into custody in Mayes County. (KTUL)
