Christopher Houston Hensley, 56, of Yukon, Oklahoma, has been indicted by a federal
grand jury and charged with bribing a public official, conspiracy to commit bribery, and
making false statements to the federal government, announced Sanford C. Coats, United
States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Hensley is the founder and president of Aerochem, Inc., based in Oklahoma City. Aerochem manufactures paint remover ("depaint") products, and it sold these products to Tinker
Air Force Base ("Tinker") and other military bases for several years. The indictment alleges
that Hensley developed a relationship with the depaint section chief for an aircraft maintenance squadron at Tinker. According to the indictment, from around 2005 to 2008, Hensley provided several items
of value to the section chief, including cash to purchase a wedding ring and a bass boat. The indictment further alleges
that Hensley conspired, from 2008 to 2012, with a former Aerochem employee to bribe the section chief by providing meals, alcohol, trips to gentlemen’s clubs, and cruise tickets. According to the indictment, Hensley and the other
Aerochem employee also purchased a boat for $7,500 in 2010 for the section’s chief’s use. It is further alleged that in
2011 and 2012, the other Aerochem employee, with Hensley’s knowledge, made routine cash payments, of approximately $300 to $500, to the section chief based on how much depaint product Tinker was buying from Aerochem.
The indictment also alleges Aerochem had a similar relationship with a supervisor of a division at Corpus Christi
Army Depot that stripped paint off helicopter parts used by the U.S. military. According to the indictment, Hensley
and the former Aerochem employee provided entertainment, wire transfers, and more than $3,000 in cash to the
Corpus Christi supervisor in exchange for the supervisor’s favorable treatment of Aerochem’s business interests.
Finally, the indictment alleges that Hensley falsely recertified to the federal government that a certain Aerochem
product, Aerostrip 5182, met qualification requirements for sales to military bases. According to the indictment,
Hensley twice provided false certifications: in 2011 to the Department of the Air Force, and in 2013 to the Corpus
Christi Army Depot. The indictment alleges that in both cases, Hensley did not have laboratory testing reports showing the Aerochem product had actually passed all military conformance standards for the depaint product.
The indictment charges Hensley with three counts of making a bribe to the Tinker depaint section chief. Those
counts separately allege that Hensley provided the section chief (1) in 2007 with $1,200 to buy a wedding ring, (2) in
2009 with approximately $1,100 in cruise tickets, and (3) in 2010 with a $7,500 boat in Aerochem’s name for his use,
in exchange for the section chief’s favorable treatment of Aerochem business interests. The indictment also charges
Hensley with conspiring, from 2008 to 2012, with a former Aerochem employee to make bribe payments to the Tinker employee and the CCAD employee. In addition, Hensley is charged with two counts of making false statements to
the federal government about Aerostrip 5182’s certification with military performance specifications.
If convicted, Hensley faces a prison sentence of up to 15 years for each bribery count, and up to 5 years for the conspiracy count and each false statement count. Hensley could also receive an additional $250,000 fine on each count
if convicted. The public is reminded that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond
a reasonable doubt.

A Thomas man tried to blame being drunk on kissing his girlfriend -- but, everyone knows you can’t get
a contact drunk. Well, everyone except for 32-yearold Tyree Winter Medicinechips.
On November 28, a state trooper was traveling
southbound on U.S. 183 in Custer County around
11:24 p.m. when he saw a truck speeding in the opposite direction. According to the police report, the
truck was traveling 73 mph in a 65 mph zone.

eyes were red and watery. But, when the trooper asked
him how much he had had to drink, he said nothing.
The trooper administered a preliminary breath test
to Medicinechips; his breath alcohol level registered
above the legal limit.
Medicinechips still denied drinking alcohol, however, and told the officer the PBT result was because he had been kissing his intoxicated girlfriend.
The trooper still placed the man under arrest.
The intoxicated girlfriend, 27-year-old Thomas woman Maceah Leann
Morton, was in the front passenger seat. She also smelled strongly of alcohol.
She told an officer she had a joint in her pocket. She handed over the
joint, which later field-tested positive for marijuana.
Wonder if Medicinechips got a contact high also?
Both Morton and Medicinechips were arrested and transported to jail.
Morton is being charged with possession of marihuana. She was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February
10, 2015.
Medicinechips is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under suspension. He was released on a $2,500 bond
and is scheduled to appear in court on January 16, 2015.

When Elk City man Aaron Lee Robson, 32, saw police on November 30, he said, “Oh, sh*t!” Appropriate, since they were there to
arrest him for allegedly attacking his girlfriend.
On November 30, Elk City police officers were dispatched to a mobile home in the 1100 block of South Randall shortly after 4 a.m. due
to a domestic assault. The victim called police and said her live-in
boyfriend, Robson, had attacked her.
When officers arrived, Robson had left the residence, but the victim was visibly upset. She had red marks around her neck and redness on the side of her face. She said she and Robson had been arguing, and Robson hit her in the face and started choking her. She
said she was able to get away and escape the residence with their
6-year-old son.
Officers started searching for Robson and went to his grandmother’s house in the 1100
block of W. First Street. Robson’s vehicle was parked on the side of the house.
As an officer approached the house, he saw Robson sitting at a table talking on the phone
-- he wasn’t wearing any clothing. The officer knocked on the window and identified himself.
Robson stood up, looked at the officer and said, “Oh sh-t!” He then started running through
the house, turning off lights.
Robson refused to open the door, so the officer walked around the house to make sure
Aaron didn’t try to climb out a window. When he saw Aaron’s grandmother sitting on the
couch, he knocked on the window and asked her to open the door. As she started walking
toward the door, Robson appeared and told her no. He tried to shut the door on an officer,
but the officer was able to prevent the door from closing.
Robson ran through the house. The officer yelled for him so stop, but Robson continued to
run. The officer zapped Robson with his Taser and placed him in handcuffs. The officer then
noticed Robson was “very intoxicated.”
Robson is being charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation, domestic assault and battery in presence of minor and resisting an officer. He was released on a $10,000
bond and was scheduled to appear in court on December 4, 2014.

Hello to all!
By the time you read this, you will
have probably made all your holiday travel plans, if you are going
somewhere, or have people coming to your home to celebrate. The
roadways will be extra busy, and with a lot of people traveling at the
same time, the chances for accidents also go way up. I’m going to
give a few tips on how to minimize your chances of being involved
in an accident, and some ways to help insure your holidays are safe.
Every year, we work a lot of accidents on people who are “running
late”. Speed plays a major role in accidents, as well as the severity
of an accident. Speed decreases reaction time, which a driver needs
to be able to react to anything that happens in front of them. What
is the best thing you can do to not be “running late”? Simply plan
your holiday travel a little in advance. You know what time you
and your family get off work, or get out of school, so plan your
departure time accordingly. Give yourself plenty of time for delays,
bathroom and snack stops, etc. Also, if you are running late, its
OK! The people you are going to see would rather you be late, than
not arrive at all because you were involved in an accident.
Another major factor in holiday accidents are a result of
celebrating, and then making a bad decision. I’m not going to tell
you not to enjoy your holiday, and if partaking in some egg nog or
other alcoholic drink is part of your celebration, that’s fine. Just
don’t decide to drive after you drink. Drinking and driving is a
decision, not an accident. Planning here goes a long way towards
a safe holiday. If you know you are going to drink, plan on staying
where you are, or have a designated driver.
Another thing you can do to stay safe is wear your seat belt. The
accident may not be your fault, and you may be doing everything
right, and could still end up in the hospital or worse, because you
didn’t have your seatbelt on. Even minor accidents can cause
significant damage to us if we are not properly restrained. Every
Trooper on the road has worked a fatality accident which we all
know in our heart would not have resulted in death had the person
been using a seatbelt. It takes no time to put on, but it may be the
most important thing you can do this holiday season.
To sum up, slow down and enjoy the holiday season! Plan ahead,
and use a designated driver or stay put if you use alcohol in your
celebrations. No one wants to spend the holidays in a hospital or
worse! Holidays are for celebration, so lets take care of ourselves
and each other.

Deborah Delane Asher, 37, was charged with trafficking a control substance, methamphetamine in
the photo seen above. Richard Jeffrey Rice, 57, was
also arrested at that time and faces the same charges. According to the Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Department,
“the arrests were the result of a drug investigation
conducted there after deputies located 2 subjects in
possession of 3.37 grams of crystal meth and a set of
digital scales.”
The arrests were made at Dolly Miller Road, six miles north of London,
Kentucky.

(west central / southwest central Oklahoma),
assisted by Game Wardens from District 5
(central / south central Oklahoma) conducted a special emphasis operation in Canadian,
Blaine, Caddo, and Grady Counties.
Game Warden Lt. James Edwards Jr. was
able to apprehend two suspects allegedly
headlighting/spotlighting in southern Blaine
County. Warden Edwards Jr. seized a rifle
and spotlight as evidence.
The suspects also were allegedly transporting open containers of beer and a loaded firearm. Charges are pending in District Court.

A Sentinel woman found slumped over in
her passenger seat on November 23 in Burns
Flat told police she used to be a diabetic but
she wasn’t anymore. She also had a lot of
drugs and beer in her car.
According to the affidavit, a caller advised
the Washita County Sheriff’s Office that there
was a woman slumped over in her vehicle at
Highway 44 and CR 1200. A deputy met a
Burns Flat officer at the location. They found
33-year-old Susan Jane Lee slumped over in
her passenger seat. When officers woke her
up, she didn’t know where she was (she said she thought she might
be in Sentinel), and she appeared to be impaired.
Lee told an officer that she used to be a diabetic, but when another
officer asked her if she was a diabetic, she said no. The officer once
again asked Lee if she was a diabetic and if he needed to call an ambulance, but she said no.
Lee had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. She agreed to take a
blood test, and officers had to help her walk to the patrol car because
she was unsteady on her feet. Little did they know Lee had a pharmacy in her vehicle.
Police conducted an inventory of the woman’s car, and they found
the following items: an 18-pack of beer with two open bottles, three
baggies of marijuana, a marijuana pipe, rolling papers, cigars, paraphernalia, a vile of methamphetamine, a plastic bag full of meth, electronic scales, used meth pipes, and twelve prescription bottles containing lots of pills including anxiolytics, sedatives, hypnotics, muscle
relaxers, antidepressants and narcotics.
Lee is being charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug
with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a controlled
dangerous substance, actual physical control of vehicle while under
the influence, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and transporting opened container of beer. Her bond was set at $25,000, and
she is scheduled to appear in court on January 27, 2015.
