A former college bursar has
been sentenced to 27 months
in federal prison in connection
with a scheme to embezzle nearly
$400,000 from Oklahoma City
Community College.
Brandi J. Henson was ordered
report to federal prison on
February 18, 2013.
Henson worked as the bursar
at Oklahoma City Community
College (“OCCC”) from 2003
through 2011. As bursar, she had
access to the college’s PayPal
account. PayPal allows users to maintain financial accounts
for the purpose of transferring money over the Internet. In
her duties as bursar, Henson used OCCC’s PayPal account
to process refunds to students’ credit cards.
Henson was charged on July 10, 2012, with wire fraud
relating to a scheme to embezzle money from OCCC. On
August 16, 2012, Henson pled guilty to one count of wire
fraud. At the plea hearing, she admitted that she improperly
used the college’s PayPal account to post refunds/credits to
her personal credit cards. Henson also admitted that the
embezzlement scheme lasted from 2004 to 2011. According
to the Information filed against her, Henson paid off more
than $398,000 in personal credit card bills with OCCC
refunds that she posted to her personal accounts.
At her sentencing, United States District Judge David L.
Russell sentenced Henson to 27 months in federal prison,
followed by three years of supervised release. In addition,
Judge Russell ordered Henson to pay restitution to OCCC
in the amount of $398,315.12.

A Yukon woman was arrested in
Major County after she and the man
she was with were busted with drugs,
paraphernalia, and cash in Fairview.
Holly Bernhardt, 44, faces charges of
possession of meth, possession of drug
paraphernalia, and possession of CDS.
Joel Bernhardt, 25, of Longdale,
faces charges of possession of drug
paraphernalia, possession of meth,
possession of CDS, and driving with a
revoked license.
Fairview Police Officer Travis
Stanberry received a tip Jan. 30 from a
citizen that a drug deal could possibly
be taking place at Love’s in Fairview.
Acting on the tip, he went to the area just
after 3:00 a.m. and parked his patrol
car across the street. There he saw two
vehicles in the parking lot.
About that time, a man then got out
of a small white car and walked to the
other vehicle and make a hand to hand
exchange with the passenger in the other
car. The first man then immediately
went back to his car and both cars pulled
away.
The small white car failed to signal a right hand turn out of the
parking lot and again failed to signal a right hand turn into the feed
store parking area, so Stanberry engaged his emergency lights and
initiated a traffic stop.
The driver, Joel, said he did not have a license. Stanberry asked
his name and date of birth, and the passenger, Holly, for her license.
Dispatch confirmed Joel had a revoked drivers license.
Stanberry asked Joel to exited the vehicle, and as he did, Stanberry
noticed a broken glass meth pipe on the floorboard. He then told
Joel he was under arrest for driving with a revoked license, cuffed
him and placed in the patrol car. Stanberry then had Holly stand at
the back of the vehicle while he inventoried it and found a syringe
under the front passenger’s seat by the console. He then placed Holly
under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and handcuffed
and secured her in the back seat of the patrol car.
A further search of the car revealed a small plastic baggie containing
three Loritabs.
Stanberry transported both Bernhardts to the Major County
Sheriffs Office. While Holly
was being booked in, the jail staff found a large amount of money
in her possession.

death row
Steven Ray Thacker
Attorney General Scott Pruitt
on Jan. 7 fi led a request with
the Oklahoma Court of Criminal
Appeals to set an execution date
for Mayes County death row
inmate Steven Ray Thacker, 42.
The U.S. Supreme Court
denied Thacker’s fi nal appeal on
Monday.
In December 2002,
Thacker pleaded guilty to the
kidnapping, rape and fi rstdegree murder of Laci Dawn
Hill, 25, of Bixby.
Thacker met Hill in her
home on Dec. 23, 1999, after
answering an ad Hill placed
to sell a pool table. When his attempt to rob Hill failed, Thacker
kidnapped her and took her to a rural cabin and raped her. Thacker
attempted to strangle Hill, but eventually stabbed her in the chest
and neck. Thacker fl ed to Missouri where he killed Forrest Reed
Boyd and stole his car along with his credit cards. Thacker drove
to Tennessee where the car ultimately broke down, and he called a
tow truck. Thacker murdered Ray Patterson, the tow truck driver,
after being confronted for using a stolen credit card. Thacker was
apprehended in Tennessee.
He was given a death sentence for killing the tow truck driver in
Tennessee, and a life sentence for killing the Missouri man.
In the fi ling, General Pruitt asked the court to set the date “sixty
days after January 7, 2013.”

A confrontation with Clinton police landed a local man in jail on
a felony assault charge Jan. 20.
Just before 10:30 p.m. that day, officer Bryan Irwin received
a call to go to the 600 block of South 5th Street on a suspicious
person complaint. When he arrived, he confronted William
Bearshield, 42, who was reportedly kicking the doors of houses
and causing a disturbance.
Bearshield told Irwin and another officer, “I’m on my own
property, and this is federal property.” He refused to answer
officers’ questions and walked away from them. When Irwin
walked toward him, Bearshield stopped, turned around and said,
“Don’t walk up on me.”
After Bearshield tried to leave another time, the officers decided
to arrest him for obstruction, but that proved difficult. Bearshield tried to punch Irwin and
then grabbed onto a wooden post so police couldn’t reach his hands. After multiple calls to
stop resisting, the pair used a taser to get Bearshield to comply, but not until the suspect
kicked Irwin in the face.
Bearshield has three felony convictions on his record, according to his rap sheet. He is
on probation for a 2011 charge of possession of a controlled substance, and he received
suspended sentences for domestic abuse and another drug charge. In August, he was
sentenced to time in county lockup for the drug charge, but he didn’t follow the terms of his
probation, so the case is pending.
Bearshield remains in custody. He has a court date set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 28.

During this month, and at all times, parents need to be aware of the issue of teen
dating violence. For as much as domestic
violence among adults is an issue that is too
often not discussed -- and too often kept a
secret by the victim -- teen dating violence is
even less discussed, and even less reported
by victims. Nevertheless, in a recent survey
of over 4,000 9th through 12th graders, one
in five reported being physically and/or sexually abused by a dating partner.
The sad fact is that two out of three teens
in an abusive relationship don’t ever tell anyone about the abuse. For girls, when they experience serious sexual abuse they only report it to an authority figure six percent of the time.
This makes it very difficult to know when your teen has become a victim of dating violence.
Still, there are warning signs that every parent and teacher can and should look for. Because teenage years are difficult (and secretive) enough as it is, it’s important to be aware of
these warning signs, and to approach your teen in a way that will make them feel comfortable
talking with you.
For more information, contact your local DHS.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol
As a Trooper, we see a lot of stuff
driving the roads of Oklahoma
everyday. I’m going to discuss
some stuff that I have seen, or have
heard from other Troopers’ stuff they have seen. Some of this stuff
will have you shaking your head, but each and every thing I am going
to talk about today has the potential to cause an accident and hurt
or kill people. Some of you will read this and wonder if I am talking
about you! I’m talking about things that fall under the category of
inattention.
I’ll start with the usual...talking on a cell phone. A significant
portion of the driving population talk on their cells while driving, and
while it is not against the law, it does divide a driver’s attention from
the roadway. Divided attention slows reaction time. Slower reaction
time can be the difference between a near-hit or an accident! Take it
a step further, and you have texting while driving. There is a national
campaign going on addressing this very dangerous activity. Not only
is your attention divided, but usually your sight is divided between a
screen and the roadway...not a good situation. With texting becoming
a normal form of communication, this problem will continue, and it
has and will cost lives.
Now to some other stuff. I’ve worked crashes where someone was
passing food they had just got at the drive-thru back to their children...
as well as people eating while driving. I’ve seen and worked crashes
involving some ladies putting make-up on while driving....same
context as texting, the eyes are divided up between the mirror and
the road. Guys, you have your own version, using an electric razor to
shave while driving!
Finally, some out of the ordinary stuff. I’ve seen people driving
down the road, with a novel or magazine sitting on the steering
wheel so they can read it while driving! Does that sound safe to
you? Obviously they weren’t seeing everything on the road, because
they didn’t see the Trooper right next to them! Also, watching a
movie has been the culprit of some distracted driving. There is even
a law that forbids a TV screen to be in the driver’s view.
All of these examples are instances of inattentive driving, and all
have caused accidents. How many of them have you done yourself? If
you have an accident while doing one of these or similar activities,
will the loved one of someone killed think that was a good reason for
them to die?
At a minimum, you crash and we give you a citation for inattentive
driving that results in an accident. Operating a 4500 lb plus vehicle
requires your undivided attention, and we owe it to the others on the
road as well as yourself, to give it.
Thanks for reading, buckle up, and be safe!
Tips from a Trooper

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma
Department of Human Services to impact the huge social
problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the
child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts
order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
It’s ALL about the KIDS!
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they have a chance at a
productive life. Children have the right to get support from both parents and do not
lose this right when a parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children, taxpayers often pay the cost
of raising children. When children receive public assistance and their parents pay no
child support, all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

Oklahoma Sheriffs’ Association
(OSA) President and Beckham County
Sheriff Scott Jay says he has a strong
opinion about the new open carry gun
laws, but it’s not an opinion some
people would think.
“I took an oath to protect The
Constitution,” Sheriff Jay told OK
Jailbirds in a phone conversation. “I
would never enforce a law that goes
against it, and there is no indication
that the government is coming after
anyone’s guns.”
Jay added there is a lot of rhetoric
on social media sites to the contrary, but he doesn’t believe he will
ever see the government take away law-abiding citizens’ guns, at
least not in his lifetime.
“Our forefathers set up our government to work together, but
politics have changed since then. The federal government and
states need to get along and work together to find a solution to the
problem of ‘gun control’,” he added.
The problem, Jay says, is the training required to obtain an open
carry permit; it’s just not enough. He believes the state needs a
better training program.
“In the thick of a situation, say, in a public place with lots of people
around, you don’t want an unskilled person with a gun defending
himself or herself or others,” Jay warns. “Think about it. A lot of
innocent people could get hurt.”
Currently, all that is required to get a gun license is an OSBI
background check and six to eight hours of training, which consists
mostly of learning Oklahoma’s gun laws. Jay believes much more
real-life training is needed.
“A licensee should be able to shoot a gun proficiently,” Jay said.
“Just shooting at a target for a couple of hours and then saying
you’re ready for the streets is a joke. When bullets start flying, it’s a
whole different animal.”
Jay is a firm believer in the rights of citizens to protect themselves,
their families, and their property from injury or death, but
Oklahoma needs to take responsibility to ensure the public is safe.
“Because in a real-world situation,” Jay said, “just knowing how
to pull a trigger is not enough.”
**This article is the opinion of Sheriff Jay only; he is not speaking
on behalf of the OSA.

Thomasine Harjo, 25, was jailed Dec. 26 after she allegedly drove
drunk through a traffic accident scene - then told officers that she
couldn’t be arrested because she had DUI court the next morning.
According to Oklahoma City police, officers were processing an accident scene where a fatality had occurred when Harjo ignored a police
barricade and drove her vehicle through it anyway.
Investigators say the accident scene had been blocked off with patrol
cars - with lights flashing - and had been corded off with crime scene
tape. Several officers tried to get Harjo to stop prior to entering the accident scene, however she didn’t acknowledge them.
When officers finally did get Harjo to stop, they smelled a strong odor of alcohol when she
opened her door. When Harjo was asked why she did not stop for the barricade, she stated
that she was simply following the car in front of her. No other cars, however, entered the
accident scene.
While officers were placing Harjo into custody, she stated that she couldn’t be arrested
because she had to appear in court the next morning. When an officer asked what the court
appearance was for, Harjo stated that it was for a previous DUI charge.
Harjo was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail and charged with DUI, driving without
a valid driver’s license and obstruction of justice.

The recent shootings across the United States
have caused much heartache. The senseless and
tragic incidents have also renewed the intensity
of discussion regarding American gun laws.
Politicians, sportsmen, and theologians have
all weighed in on the issue of gun control. Guns
are readily available in the U.S., and ownership
is protected by the Constitution. How should a
Christian view gun control? What does the Bible
have to say that would apply to gun control?
The Bible was written long before the invention of any type of gun, so the phrase “gun
control” will not be found in Scripture. However, the Bible records many accounts of wars,
battles, and the use of weapons. Warfare is presented as an inevitable part of living in a fallen
world (Mark 13:7; James 4:1), and weaponry is a necessary part of warfare. Weapons in the
Bible were also used for personal protection. In some parts of Israel, robbers were common
(see Luke 10:30), and many people carried weapons when they traveled. Carrying a weapon
for self-defense is never condemned in the Bible. In fact, it was mentioned in a positive light
by Jesus Himself on one occasion (Luke 22:35-38).
Christians are called to submit to governing authorities, and they are to obey the laws of the
land (Romans 13:1-7; 1 Peter 2:13-17). This would have to apply to gun laws, too. If American
gun laws change, American Christians should submit to these changes and work through
democratic means toward any desired alternatives. The Bible does not forbid the possession
of weapons, and neither does it command such possession. Laws may come and go, but
the goal of the believer in Jesus Christ remains the same: to glorify the Lord (1 Corinthians
10:31).
Another biblical principle to consider is that “all who draw the sword will die by the
sword” (Matthew 26:52). Jesus said this to Peter when Peter tried to mount an imprudent
“defense” of Jesus against the mob that had come to arrest Him. Peter’s actions were not
only futile against such a “large crowd armed with swords and clubs” (verse 47), but his rash
behavior also belied Jesus’ submissive attitude (verse 50) and worked against the fulfillment
of Scripture (verse 54). There is “a time for war and a time for peace” (Ecclesiastes 3:8), and
Peter confused the two.
Christianity supports personal freedom. Romans 14:1-4 indicates that, when Scripture
does not clearly address a particular issue, there is freedom for individual choice. America
has historically embraced the concept of personal freedom that resonates with this principle,
and the founding documents guarantee wide freedoms regarding firearms. Some point to
Matthew 5:9, in which Jesus pronounces a blessing on the peacemakers, and apply it to the
issue of gun control. The idea is that guns are antithetical to peace. This may be more of a
philosophical or political idea than a theological one, however. There is nothing theologically,
or even logically, that links guns to a lack of peace; sometimes, guns help maintain civil peace.
Debates over whether to control guns or how much to control them depend largely on
political and philosophical arguments, not moral ones. This is not to say that there is no
moral component to the issue. Obviously, the gun itself is amoral, an object that can be used
for good or for evil. More important is the morality of the person wielding the gun, and that is
too often the missing consideration in the gun control argument. The fact that some sinners
use guns to commit sin does not mean guns are the problem. Sin is the problem, and that’s
a moral and spiritual issue. Since the very beginning of humanity, people have been killing
other people, with and without weapons (see Genesis 4). Taking a certain weapon out of
circulation might make murder more difficult but by no means impossible.
As far as the Bible is concerned, the use of guns is a matter of personal conviction. There is
nothing unspiritual about owning a gun or knowing how to use one. There is nothing wrong
with protecting oneself or loved ones, even if it involves the use of weapons. We need not
pretend there is never a need for guns, but pointing a gun at a person should always be a last
resort. We should seek to neutralize threats without violence whenever possible.
So, how should a Christian view gun control? With the authority God has entrusted to it,
the government has the right to allow or disallow gun ownership to whatever degree it deems
right. We, as citizens, are called to submit to whatever gun control laws the government
institutes. This is not, however, a statement on the wisdom of gun control. There are good
reasons to allow law-abiding citizens to own guns. Ultimately, guns are not the problem.
Sinful people are the problem.

As a female shopper exited a convenience store, a
man grabbed her purse and ran. The clerk called 911
immediately and the woman was able to give them
a detailed description of the snatcher, and police apprehended him within minutes. They put him in the
cruiser and drove back to the store. The thief was
then taken out of the car and told to stand there for a
positive ID. To which he replied, “Yes Offi cer, that’s
her. That’s the lady I stole the purse from.”
In Bent Forks, Ill., kidnapers of ice-cube magnate
Worth Bohnke sent a photograph of their captive
to Bohnke’s family. Bohnke was seen holding up a
newspaper. It was not that day’s edition and, in fact,
bore a prominent headline relating to Nixon’s trip
to China. This was pointed out to the kidnapers in a
subsequent phone call. They responded by sending
a new photograph showing an up-to-date newspaper. Bohnke, however, did not appear in the picture.
When this, too, was refused, the kidnapers became
peevish and insisted that a photograph be sent to
them showing all the people over at Bohnke’s house
holding different issues of Success Magazine. They
provided a mailing address and were immediately
apprehended. They later admitted to FBI agents
they did not understand the principle involved in
the photograph/newspaper concept. “We thought it
was just some kind of tradition,” said one.
After being arrested for stealing a car, the judge
asked the man, “how do you plead?” Instead of saying guilty or not guilty the man said: “Before we go
any further, judge, let me explain why I stole the
car.” The judge ruled in record time.
When two service station attendants refused to
hand over the cash to an intoxicated robber, the
man threatened to call the police. They still refused,
so the robber called the police and was arrested.
Police in Los Angeles had good luck with a robbery suspect who just couldn’t control himself during a lineup. When detectives asked each man in the
lineup to repeat the words, “Give me all your money
or I’ll shoot,” the man shouted, “That’s not what I
said!”
In a small town of 1700, a student attempted to
rob the local convenience store wearing his letterman’s jacket. He did not realize that he was the only
male named Dana in the whole town.

Sara Jane Soto, a 28-year-old Houston woman, was
jailed Jan. 2 after she allegedly beat her commonlaw husband with her stiletto high-heel shoe.
According to Houston police, officers were
dispatched to the couple’s residence after a man
called 911 and reported that he had been assaulted
by his common-law wife.
When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke
with the victim, however the alleged suspect, Sara
Soto, had already fled the scene.
The victim told police that his wife came home
from work intoxicated and then commenced beating
him with her high-heel shoe after the couple began
to argue.
Soto was located at a nearby convenience store and taken into custody.
She was booked into jail and charged with domestic violence assault.

A Geary ex-con faces felony charges after police say he caused a
ruckus at a local convenience store that put a man in the hospital.
Just before 9 p.m. Jan. 10, officer Cecil Harrall received a call
about a stabbing at Maib’s convenience store. The woman who
made the call said Tony Pratt, 30, stabbed a man and fled the
area to go to his mother’s house. The victim was taken to the
hospital, she said.
Harrall found Pratt at the 400 block of SE 4th Street and
arrested him on municipal and district court warrants.
In an interview, the victim said he was throwing trash away
at the convenience store when he heard someone yell, “Stupid
white boy” at him. The person then approached the victim and
made slashing motions at him, he said.
When he defended himself, he realized Pratt was his assailant
because he had gotten into a bar fight with him earlier that week. They both fell to the ground,
where Pratt stabbed the man in the hand and made multiple cuts on his back, he said.
Pratt has convictions of possession of controlled substances, driving under the influence
and leaving the scene of an injury accident. He served a 10-month prison stint for the drug
charge, according to his rap sheet. He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in
Canadian County.
Pratt remains in custody on a $50,000 bond. He received a court-appointed attorney Jan.
24, and he will next appear in court at 1 p.m. Feb. 13.

An Elk City man was arrested after he
reportedly led police on a high-speed
chase with a stolen car Jan. 12.
Around 9:20 a.m. that day, deputies
arrested Kevin Galloway, 31, on
complaints of eluding police, injury
to property, and possession of stolen
property.
Forty minutes earlier, Washita
County sheriff’s deputy T.J. Worcester
was dispatched to Highway 152 after
receiving a call about a stolen car from
Elk City.
While Worcester was en route to the
scene, he learned Elk City police were
in pursuit of a red Ford F-250 with Galmor’s, Inc. written on the side
of one of the doors.
Around 9 a.m., deputy Kenny Loftis reported being in pursuit of
the stolen truck and said it turned into a pasture a mile north of Dill
City.
A chase through the pasture resulted in the truck going through a
barbed wire fence and into a wheat field. Soon after getting into the
wheat field, it got stuck in the mud for a few seconds, but using fourwheel drive, the truck again escaped.
Further in the chase, the truck ran a stop sign at 70 mph and
started to drive on the county road at 100 mph. However, there was a
small bend in the road, which caused Galloway to lose control of the
pickup and fall into a ditch. The ditch didn’t stop the man, though,
as he accelerated out and sped off at 100 mph. Soon after, the truck
jumped a set of railroad tracks and fell into a ditch, which stopped
Galloway in his tracks.
It wasn’t over yet, however, as he left the scene on foot.
Unfortunately, Galloway could not jump a nearby fence. Soon after,
Worcester tackled him to the ground and handcuffed him.
Galloway remains in custody on a $25,000 bond. He has court set
for 9 a.m. March 12.

“Agents have followed dozens of leads in the past years. But
investigators need the public’s help to develop new leads. We believe
someone who lives in the area may have information that could help
agents solve this case,” Jessica Brown, OSBI PIO, says. If anyone has

Natasha V: What a dumb***
hahahahaha
Christy C: Scum
Roger S: obviously that guy needs
help ....probably homeless ....he needs some
assistance ..not jail and I don’t say that often
Ashley W: Wow that’s really low.
Suzi P: Loser:.....go get a freaking job!
Paul D: he will get all the help he DESERVES in jail roger, he deserves a kick in
the head
Julia R: All i can say is what a jerk!!
Matt S: At least he wasnt stealing
from an okc citizen. Dont lock him up. Prisons are over crowded w petty charges on ppl
like this fine him. Send him on his way. Matt
s for okc mayor
Corey W: they still have all that
hanging on the fence..to me its morbid in a
way..but it was low to disrespect the dead
like that..guy was prob out of his mind from
hunger and drugs..
Lisa W: Being homeless does not
justify stealing from the memorial. those
ppl and their families have suffered enough
without some idiot stealing their memorials!!
Bethany H: Some people have no
respect. A 39 year old man should know better than all that.
Rich L: Homelessness is no excuse.
Kelli E: What a disrespectful PIG!
Kristi C: I don’t see anywhere that
says he’s homeless...all I see is that he is from
Spencer.
Sergio C: his actions were disrepecful and his attitude very disturbing and his
behivor nasty and perverted..........
Lm L: Look at all of these people making excuses for him!! Disgraceful!!
Cande J: Do people not know what
respect is anymore! Thats a sorry excuse
for an Oklahoman if u ask me! I think they
should throw everything and the book at
him for being so rude ans disrespectful! And
shame on the people for giving him excuses!
And u wonder why our country is the way it
is!
Glenna W: He is responsible for
this action he performed. No one else. He is
a grown ass man. Just one of many without
any respect for anyone. And that spitting is
as gross as it gets. I’ve had enough if these
low life’s
Kelly B: I think the law should be if u
kill someone in cold blood should die! And if
u steel cut off your arm!!
Corey W: should have been punched
in the mouth for spitting that is a very hateful
thing to do to someone..
Roger S: no ones making excuses ....
didn’t know we were in the presence of so
many perfect people
Rick J: @ Corey he had a hamburger
but I agree possibly drugs but definitely a
thief
Jessica W: He doesn’t need assistance Roger he needs to get a job!!!!!! He’s
39!!!!! And he needs to learn respect! That’s
probably why he is roaming streets stealing and spitting on people bc he was never
taught respect, discipline, and how to work
for what he needs and wants!!!!! Geez!!!!!!!
Jessica W: And he was stealing
from a federal memorial...Obvious isn’t
physically harming anyone but i can only
imagine what else this doofus will do! Uh...
no Matt we don’t need you for okc mayor
LOL!
Corey W: ya u are right..he did
manage to hussle up a burger he should have
sit down somewhere and ate it...maby he
would have simply passed out then..ha
Robert S: Throw the book at this
*&%$. Worthless people irritate me. This is
one of them.
Jamie B: How disrespectful and
sad. 🙁
A Spencer man was arrested for taking items from
the OKC Bombing Memorial fence and spitting on a
visitor to the memorial, according to police.
A witness told police he spotted Dominique Polk,
39, taking necklaces and other items from the fence
at the memorial. The fence outside the memorial
on Harvey Street has become a place where people
leave mementos to remember those lost in the 1995
Oklahoma City bombing.
The witness said after he spotted Polk taking
the items, he attempted to stall Polk until federal
security guards could arrive. That’s when the man
said Polk spit in his face, then walked a short distance away and unwrapped a
cheeseburger, leaving the wrapper on the bombing grounds.
Federal security guards then called OKC police and Polk was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery, larceny and littering.
