ANOTHER SENSELESS
TRAGEDY
Four young people were killed early May 22 after impaired driver traveled the wrong direction on
Interstate 40 before crashing head-on into their
vehicle near Czech Hall Road.
According to reports, the crash happened
around 12:30 a.m. when a pickup truck was
reportedly driving westbound in the eastbound
lanes of I-40. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers
said the wrong-way vehicle collided head-on with another car, triggering a fiery
crash that shut down part of the interstate overnight.
Evidence of the collision remained visible that afternoon as investigators continued piecing together what happened.
The victims were identified as 20-year-old Kiercy Hickson, 19-year-old Quincy
Jones, 18-year-old Haliegh Salazar, and 18-year-old Brad Palmer.
Dash camera footage reportedly captured the pickup traveling the wrong direction moments before the crash.
According to OHP, the suspected wrong-way driver, identified as Michael Rosario-Cruz, survived the crash and was hospitalized before being arrested and
facing charges. Rosario-Cruz was believed to be under the influence at the time
of the wreck.
Three of the victims, Salazar, Jones and Palmer, were connected to El Reno
High School. Salazar graduated in 2025, while Jones and Palmer had celebrated graduation
just days before the
crash.
Reports state that
Rosario-Cruz has
an ice detainer. He
entered the country
and in 2015 was given DACA status.

THAT'S METHED UP!
An ex-con who had an insulated beverage container
crammed into his rectum when he was busted on drug
charges has just cut a plea deal that resulted in his release from a Florida lockup.
Walter Frymire, 52, pleaded no contest to possession of a meth pipe and threatening a sheriff’s deputy,
according to court records. A felony drug charge was
dropped by prosecutors as part of a negotiated plea deal.
Frymire, who has been locked up since his October arrest, was sentenced to 180
days. He was freed from jail on March 6 after serving five months in custody.
Frymire was arrested after cops responded to a report of a naked man inside a Winter
Haven park bathroom. When an officer first contacted Frymire, who was fully clothed, he
was carrying a “grey lunch box” holding his meth pipe.
What cops did not realize at the time was that Frymire was still in possession of another
lunch box standard.
While Frymire was subsequently being booked into the Polk County jail, he went through
a full-body scanner designed to identify contraband, like hidden drugs or weapons.
Instead, corrections workers spotted a full-size thermos inside Frymire’s body. The
local sheriff felicitously explained that the item
had entered Frymire’s body a day earlier via
“the exit ramp.”
During treatment at a local hospital, the
thermos was extracted from Frymire. The discovery of the item did not result in additional
charges, since it is not illegal to have a thermos
stashed inside a body cavity.
Frymire has an extensive rap sheet, which
includes numerous
stays in county and
state correctional facilities (where
he has proven to
be a menace by
spitting on corrections workers and
breaking sprinkler
systems).

AROUND THE STATE
On April 17, 2026, the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office requested the Oklahoma State Bureau
of Investigation to investigate an assault with a
hatchet.
Just after 10:00 a.m., Pontotoc County deputies received a call regarding two individuals who
had been injured at a property near Sauls Avenue
and North Broadway in Roff. When deputies arrived on scene, they located an adult male and female, who had both suffered
severe injuries. One of the victims claimed they had both been attacked by an
individual with a hatchet.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. During
the investigation, OSBI special agents and deputies identified the suspect as
41-year-old Cody Pinkerton.
Investigators also determined a five-year-old boy was missing from the home.
The United States Marshals Service, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and other
nearby law enforcement agencies were alerted of the situation and a large-scale
search was initiated.
That afternoon, the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police Department and the
Oklahoma Highway Patrol located Pinkerton in the southern part of rural Love
County. Pinkerton was arrested and booked into the Pontotoc County Jail on
two counts of Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
The five-year-old boy was located with the suspect, unharmed. The child is
safe at this time.

COLD CASE FILES
Paula Sue “Suzie” Ivey George was a loving
mother to her three sons. The Texas native living
in Manchester, Oklahoma was a single mother
working many jobs to support her boys.
On April 30th, 2013, 13 years ago, Paula was taken from her boys - murdered in their
home. Sometime between 10:30 pm and midnight someone stood on her porch and shot her
through her bedroom window while she was in bed. It is likely the murder was
premeditated since they seemed to know the layout of her house and bedroom.
Paula’s home was located between Manchester and Wakita at the intersection of Kiowa Road and Highway 132, at 79051 Kiowa Road. There was a fair
amount of vehicle traffic in the area. It’s likely someone drove by at the time of
the murder and may not realize they saw something important.
Suzie was born on October 8th, 1968 in Dimmitt, Texas. She graduated from
Dimmitt High School and went on to college. Suzie worked as a plant manager
for a small company in Wakita but she also worked as a electrician and ran a
small business making soap and lotion. She loved animals but specifically horses. Suzie was very active in 4-H and FFA and worked with many kids over the
years helping them with their animals. She attended United Methodist Church.
There is a $5,000 reward for information in Suzie’s murder.
Please call the Grant County Sheriff at (580) 395-2356 with any information in
the murder of mother Paula George. All information is helpful.

EGOMANIAC
A former employee at Great Plains Regional
Medical Center is accused of sexually harassing
and inappropriately touching multiple female coworkers over several months.
Michael Todd Ralls, 57, of Crawfordsville, Iowa,
a former nurse anesthetist, is facing three felony
charges after an investigation was conducted by
the Beckham County Sheriff’s Office and hospital
administrators.
According to reports, an 18-year-old student intern received inappropriate
communication from Ralls while she was participating in a program at the hospital. The intern notified school officials, staff at the hospital, and human resources
staff after receiving the messages.
The intern reportedly tried to stop the man’s repeated attempts at communication, but he started to call her multiple times. She then blocked Ralls’ phone
number.
During the investigation, additional women reportedly came forward with allegations involving similar behavior. Three female employees described repeated
unwanted physical contact and inappropriate remarks while working with Ralls.
One woman told investigators the incidents occurred numerous times over
a span of several months, from November 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026,
while she was assisting with surgical gown ties.
The man also allegedly would whisper inappropriate things in her ear and
make unwanted physical contact and gestures.
Other accusations detailed in the investigation include unwanted touching,
sexually suggestive comments, intimidating conduct, and attempts to isolate
employees in workplace situations.
Some of the women were apparently reluctant to report the behavior because
Ralls held a position of authority at the hospital.
Witness interviews and messages exchanged between employees appeared
to support claims that concerns about Ralls’ conduct had been discussed
among staff prior to the criminal investigation.
Ralls was ultimately fired from his position during the investigation.
Ralls is being charged with three counts of sexual battery. His bond was set at
$75,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on June 8, 2026.

QUICK DRAW
An Altus man is facing a felony charge after he
allegedly withdrew nearly $2,000 that was mistakenly deposited into his business account on
December 26. He never returned the money after
the bank discovered the error.
According to reports, 31-year-old John Thomas
Brandt never returned the money after the bank
discovered the error.
Clinton police officers were dispatched to a bank after employees discovered
that $1,949.05 had been accidentally deposited into an account connected to
Brandt’s business. The funds were reportedly intended for another customer
entirely.
After realizing the mistake, bank employees contacted Brandt and asked that
he return the money. Brandt allegedly told staff he would bring the funds back
later, but the money was never repaid.
Brandt explained to investigators that he believed the deposit may have been
tied to a loan he had been expecting from a credit card company. He said he
initially thought the money belonged to him, but he later acknowledged during a
recorded phone conversation that he had not returned the funds.
Brandt is being charged with grand larceny after the former conviction of a
felony. A warrant was issued for his arrest on May 12, 2026, in the amount of
$5,000.

A New Jersey man is behind bars for allegedly groping the
Easter Bunny at a Pennsylvania shopping center.
According to police, Shivakrishna Bera, 36, was at the South
Hills Village Mall in Pittsburgh on Monday when he approached
the area where a woman dressed as the Easter Bunny was posing for photos.
Bera, cops say, began questioning the costumed character,
who directed his inquiries to her assistant. At one point, the assistant told police, Bera asked
about who was inside the costume, saying, “Is it a boy or a girl?”
As detailed in a criminal complaint, Bera then began touching the costumed woman’s arm
and chest, and grabbed her breasts. He also allegedly shoved his fingers into the nose and
mouth of the Easter Bunny’s costume head.
Bera was subsequently arrested inside a movie theater near the mall. When questioned
by officers about the Easter Bunny incident, Bera (seen at right) reportedly
asked, “It’s a doll, right?” When told a
person was inside the costume, Bera
said, “By mistake, my hand touched
her, if it’s a lady.”
While in custody at the local police
station, Bera, cops say, said that he
touched the bunny costume to “test if
it’s real titties or fake titties.”
Bera, whose drivers license carries
a Jersey City address, was charged
with indecent assault and harassment.
He is locked up on $10,000 bail in advance of an April 2 preliminary hearing. GILBERT

A Florida Woman tore up a Subway restaurant because she
was “upset about the peppers on her sandwich and demanded a new one,” police allege.
After placing an online order, I’munique Clark, 33, picked
up her sandwich at a Subway near her St. Petersburg residence. Clark, seen below, used Sub Club rewards points, so
the chow was “free of cost,” according to an arrest report.
“Shortly after, she came back into the store and was upset
about the peppers on her sandwich and demanded a new
one,” a detective reported.
A Subway employee told Clark her sandwich was “made how she ordered it online” and that new
grub would not be forthcoming.
In the wake of the hoagie denial, Clark pushed a cash register and printer off the counter. She then
reached into the sanctity of the cookie display and threw multiple trays of baked delicacies onto the
floor (resulting in 37 cookie deaths).
Clark’s Subway rage was recorded by a store security camera. And “the defendant used her own
real name and phone number” when placing the online order.
Clark was charged with criminal mischief. She bonded out of jail after posting $500 on the misdemeanor count.
Clark has previously been convicted of grand theft for stealing merchandise from a Bealls department store. In 2023, she was arrested for slashing her children’s father with a butcher knife, but
prosecutors subsequently dropped that felony case against her.

RECOVERY DISCOVERY
A Watonga man is facing felony charges after
investigators say stolen oilfield equipment, vehicles, and a trailer were recovered from his property during a multi-agency investigation.
According to reports, the investigation began
March 23. An employee contacted the Custer
County Sheriff’s Office to report that a Ford 770
diesel tractor had been stolen overnight from an
oilfield yard in Custer County. The employee also told deputies that a red 2019
Polaris ATV and a 12-foot tandem axle trailer were gone - they had reportedly
been missing for about a month. The items were not immediately reported stolen
because company officials initially believed another employee may have been
using them.
Investigators gathered identifying information for the missing trailer.
On March 27, authorities were notified that the stolen tractor, ATV, and trailer had been found and they were at a Watonga residence and Blaine County
deputies obtained and executed a search warrant at the property. While at the
property, deputies recovered the stolen equipment.
Reports state 28-year-old Daniel Ramirez-Martinez later admitted to investigators that he stole the tractor, ATV and trailer from an oilfield yard near Thomas.
He also confessed to taking other stuff from somewhere in Roger Mills County.
Ramirez-Martinez is being charged with two counts of grand larceny. His bond
was set at $10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on June 19, 2026.
