TAXES DUE TO STATE
Bartlesville woman Rachel Maya Harrison was arrested
July 20 after she allegedly stole some stuff from Walmart
while intoxicated. She had also previously been banned from
Walmart.
During the arrest, police found several bags of clothing in
her vehicle. A man with Harrison when she was arrested told
police she went into Stage in Claremore and bought a shirt
before illegally going to Walmart.
Harrison told police she bought all of the clothes from
Stage.
On July 22 when she was locked up in Rogers County Jail,
a Claremore officer went to the store and spoke to an employee. The clerk working the night Harrison was arrested
told the officer Harrison acted “strange” while she was in the
store, and she suspected Harrison was shoplifting instead of
shopping.
When Harrison left the store, she told the clerk she locked
the door in the dressing room.
The clerk said she thought that was weird, so she went to
check. She found an empty perfume box. The officer remembered seeing the same kind of perfume in Harrison’s purse
when he arrested her.
Back at the jail, Harrison admitted to stealing items from
the store, including the perfume and clothing in her car.
According to the police report, this wasn’t Harrison’s first
stealing rodeo. She had convictions out of Oregon, Washington and Oklahoma for retail theft.
Harrison is being charged with larceny of merchandise
from retailer and knowingly concealing stolen property. She
is scheduled to appear in court on August 10, 2015. Bond information was unknown at time of print.

On August 4, an investigator with the Okmulgee
County District Attorney's Office arrested Monica
Robertson, 40, at her Okmulgee home for conspiracy
to commit a felony (grand larceny) for her role in the
larceny of more than $70,000 from a Bristow WalMart July 4.
Robertson was booked into the Creek County jail on
a $50,000 bond.
Authorities continue to search for Bryan Johnson,
22, who posed as a Loomis Armored Truck driver and
made off with a bag full of money. He, too, has been
charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. He is
from the Bakersfield, California, area.

Darrell Dwayne Perry, 55, of
Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was sentenced Aug. 6 to 37 months imprisonment, followed by 5 years of supervised release for failure to register as a sex offender.
The charge is a result of an investigation by the United States Marshal
Service.
Perry was indicted in December,
2014.
The Indictment alleged that from in or about October 2014
until on or about November 20th, 2014, Perry, who is required to register as a sex offender under the Sex Offender
Registration and Notification Act, after having received felony convictions from the State of Oklahoma, Muskogee County, on or about September 14, 1998, for the offenses of Rape
First Degree, Rape by Instrumentation and Sodomy, traveled
in interstate and foreign commerce and knowingly failed to
register and update his registration as required by the Sex
Offender Registration and Notification Act.
The Honorable Ronald A. White, District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma,
in Muskogee, presided over the hearing. The defendant will
remain in the custody of the United States Marshal Service
pending transportation to the designated federal facility in
which he will serve his non-parolable sentence.

Jonathan Locke Davis, 35, of Muskogee, was sentenced Aug. 6 to 70 months imprisonment, followed
by 36 months of supervised release for felon in possession of firearm.
Charges arose from an investigation by the Muskogee Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Violent Crime Task Force.
Davis was indicted in February, 2015 and pled guilty
in March, 2015.
The Indictment alleged that on or about November 2, 2013, Davis, having been convicted of a crime
punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding
one year, did knowingly possess in and affecting commerce, firearms, which had been shipped and transported in interstate commerce.
Davis will remain in the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending
transportation to the designated federal facility in which he will serve his nonparolable sentence.

A Locust Grove man was taken into custody after
he attacked another man over a girl.
Ethan Hall, 23, was charged Aug. 5 with assault
and battery in Mayes County District Court.
According to the affidavit, a Mayes County deputy was contacted about an assault and battery that
happened July 12 on CR 616 in Mayes County. The
victim said Hall struck him four times with a closed
fist after he and Hall started arguing about Hall’s exgirlfriend. As a result, the victim sustained a broken
collar bone, two black eyes, and some facial swelling.
A warrant was issued Aug. 5 for Hall with a $5000 bond. He was taken into
custody Aug. 7.

A Grove man with a high BAC and revoked driver’s
license braved the streets in an effort to pick up his
intoxicated girlfriend and her daughter at a local bar.
While he may have saved his GF from getting locked up,
he landed himself behind bars.
On July 25, a Grove officer saw a car in front of him
driving with its left turn signal on shortly after midnight. He continued to watch the vehicle as it drifted
across the centerline several times.
The officer stopped the vehicle at Industrial Road and
East Highway 10. The driver was identified as 50-yearold John Dobrosky.
The officer immediately smelled alcohol and noticed the man’s eyes were water
and red. Dobrosky told the officer he didn’t have a valid driver’s license. When
the officer asked him why he was driving when he knew his license was revoked,
Dobrosky said it was his girlfriend’s daughter’s birthday, and the women had
been partying at a bar. He said they had had too much to drink and he picked
them up from the bar.
Both of the female passengers appeared to be intoxicated.
Dobrosky also also admitted to drinking.
The officer conducted sobriety tests on the man, and it was obvious he was not
fit to drive. He placed Dobrosky under arrest and transported him to jail.
Dobrosky is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with license suspended/canceled/revoked. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 24, 2015.

A Coweta man was caught in the act of trying to
break into a house on July 19. Levi Benson Adams,
27, told police he did it because he was bored.
Shortly after 4 p.m., a Coweta officer was dispatched to the 300 block of W. Pecan due to an
attempted burglary in progress. When he arrived,
a woman told him she was getting ready for work
when she heard a noise in her backyard. She then
heard someone open up the outer door on her back
porch. When she went to investigate, she saw Adams standing at her back door. She called 911, and
the man fled the scene.
At 5:02 p.m., the officer was dispatched to the police department because a
man was turning himself in for attempted burglary.
According to the police report, Adams told the officer he tried to break into a
house. When the officer asked him why he did it, the man replied that he was going to steal some stuff from inside the home.
The officer asked him why he chose to break into that house. Adams said that
it was random.
Adams also told the officer he had a drug problem, but he tried to break into
the house because he was bored, not because he needed money for his drug habit.
Adams is being charged with attempted burglary in the first degree. He was released on a $12,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 12, 2015.

Vinita man Beau Hunter Garrett, 18, allegedly
traded motorcycles with a man, even though he
knew the bike he traded was stolen. He was arrested July 31 after the man he traded with told police
something just wasn’t right.
According to the affidavit, the man went to the
Craig County Sheriff’s Office and told a deputy he
had a motorcycle that he believed was stolen. He
said he traded a bike for the motorcycle, and when
he asked the motorcycle’s owner, identified as Garrett, for proof that he bought the bike, Garrett was
unable to produce anything. Garrett just told the
man he bought the bike in Alva.
The man called every dealership in Alva and was
advised that none of them sold the bike. He contacted Garrett’s girlfriend, and she told him her man bought the bike from someone on Craigslist.
The deputy checked the bike’s VIN number and was advised it was indeed stolen out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The man told the deputy he told Garrett
he knew the bike was stolen, and he wanted his bike that he had traded back. He
said Garrett told him he would meet the man at his house and trade the bike back.
When Garrett arrived, the deputy asked him where he got the bike. He told the
officer he bought it from a guy on Craigslist. When the deputy asked who the guy
was, Garrett said he had deleted all of the man’s information.
The deputy told Garrett to place his hands behind his back. After the deputy
placed him under arrest, Garrett told the officer he knew where several other stolen bikes were.
Garrett is being charged with knowingly concealing stolen property. He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 12, 2015.
