A Wagoner man was arrested in Rogers County for impersonating a police officer during a traffic stop on May 11.
Somehow, him hanging out the window and yelling “I’m a police officer!” just
didn’t impress the real man in blue.
A Catoosa officer attempted to stop 27-year-old Cory Wayne Rea after he saw
the man run a stop sign at N. 193 Road and Timbercrest Circle. When the officer
turned on his red and blue lights, Rea accelerated and kept on driving.
During his attempt to get away from the officer, Rea swerved all over the road
and “accelerated even more,” according to the affidavit. Rea would slow down,
then speed back up while recklessly changing lanes.
The officer saw Rea take off his seatbelt, and the man slowed down to 15 mph at
one point. He kept on going, however, until he apparently decided he wasn’t getting away from going to jail. Rea then put his hands and body out of the window.
The officer told him to get out of the vehicle, but he refused.
The officer helped him get out of the car.
Rea immediately told the officer that he too was a police officer. He kept repeating he was an officer, but the real officer wasn’t buying it. When the officer
checked the man’s information, he probably wasn’t surprised to learn Rea most
definitely was not an officer. In fact, the man was driving with a suspended license and no insurance on his vehicle. He was also a convicted felon wanted out
of Cleveland County.
That’s about as far from being a police officer as you can get!
The officer placed him under arrest and transported him to jail.
On the way to jail, Rea tried to get out of the handcuffs and he threatened to
kill the officer.
Rea is being charged with impersonating a police officer, eluding police officer,
threaten to perform act of violence, obstructing officer, driving with license suspended, failure to maintain security and failure to stop for yield sign. His bond
was set at $19,654.50, and he is scheduled to appear in court on June 8, 2015.

An Arizona woman has been charged after she allegedly took her cop
friend’s patrol car on a drunken fast food run.
Elizabeth Jean Moore is accused of driving the Maricopa County
Sheriff’s Office vehicle to a Jack-in-the-Box burger joint in Chandler on
Nov. 2, 2014, ABC15 reported.
The deputy’s wife was in the passenger seat, while two 12-year-old girls
were in the back.
Police busted Moore after she turned on the siren to show off for a drive-thru worker.
She was arrested and her blood-alcohol level was found to be .11, according to court
documents. The legal limit is .08.
The 41-year-old was this week finally charged with two counts of aggravated DUI in
connection with the incident.
The deputy’s wife said her husband was not aware of what his squad car was being used
for at the time.
“The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of this issue, subsequently
an investigation took place and corrective action was taken,” MCSO spokesman Chris
Hegstrom said.

A Moodys man was taken into
custody for the April 2015 murder of
two Muskogee residents.
Eleno Maldonado, Jr., was charged
June 2 with two counts of first-degree murder in Muskogee County
District Court.
According to the police affidavit,
Muskogee County sheriff’s deputies
were called to the 4000 block of S.
32nd Street in Muskogee in reference to two deceased persons. When
they arrived, they found Abby Seals,
19, and Nicholas Rutherford, 25,
both shot to death.
Information received by investigators stated that the Seals and Rutherford were picked up at the Muscogee Creek nation Casino during the early morning hours of April
25th, allegedly by Maldonado. Maldonado then allegedly took the
pair to the address on 32nd Street. He left and returned to the address three more times. Maldonado then allegedly shot Rutherford
as he was lying on the couch. Rutherford got up off the couch “into a
standing position” and Maldonado shot him a second time.
When Seals heard the first shot, she ran into the bathroom. After
Maldonado had shot Nicholas the second time, he allegedly went to
the bathroom and fired one shot, killing Seals.
Maldonado then left the residence and fled the county.
Reports state the murder was drug-related.
Maldonado was located May 28 in Moodys, where he was living
with a relative. He was transported back to Muskogee County and is
in the Muskogee County/City jail without bond. His sounding hearing is scheduled for July 2 at 10 a.m.

Kansas man Dustin Adair Eaton, 29, was taken to jail May 29 after a concerned man found
him passed out in his truck in the middle of the
road.
The man called police around 6:30 a.m. and
told a deputy that a possible intoxicated subject was passed out in his truck between Little
Kansas and Flint Ridge. The man said he was
on his way home when he saw a vehicle just sitting in the middle of the road. The driver, later
identified as Eaton, was unconscious and didn’t respond to the man’s
attempts to wake him up. The man also saw a revolver and a used
diabetic syringe in the vehicle.
When the deputy spoke to Eaton, the man was “disoriented and
agitated.”
According to the affidavit, Eaton said the gun belonged to his friend
and the syringe belonged to “one of them girls.”
The deputy asked Eaton if he had been convicted of a felony in the
past. When he said yes, the deputy told him that he couldn’t have
a gun or be near one. Eaton said he knew that, and he had told his
friend to remove the gun from his truck.
During an inventory of the vehicle, police found a check made out
to Eaton, a checkbook belonging to the owner of the check, prescriptions also belonging to the owner of the check and another man. They
also found a wallet belonging to a woman.
The deputy asked Eaton if he knew the owner of the check. Eaton
said no. He then said a woman wrote the check. The deputy pointed
out that a man’s name was on the paper -- Eaton didn’t reply.
Eaton is being charged with possession of firearm after former felony conviction and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He
was released on a $4,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court
on June 18, 2015.

On November 20, 2001 in an
Oklahoma City suburb when Brenda
Andrew lured her estranged husband
to her home to pick up their two
children. Brenda told him that the
pilot light of the furnace was out and
while he bent to fi x it, James Pavatt
came quietly up behind Rob and shot him in the side with a
16 gauge shotgun. In vain, Rob grabbed at a garbage bag full
of empty soda cans trying to protect himself, but Brenda took
the gun from Pavatt and blasted her husband in the chest.
Afterwards, she used a .22 caliber pistol to shoot herself in the
arm and told police that she and Rob had been the victims of
masked intruders.
The day before Rob Andrew’s funeral, James Pavatt, Brenda
Andrew and her children went on the run. Tricity and Parker
Andrew were drug on a fugitive journey through Mexico. Three
months later Pavatt and Andrew were arrested as they tried to

James Pavatt went on trial August 25, 2003. On September 16,
2003 he was found guilty of First Degree Murder and Conspiracy
to Commit First Degree Murder. On October 21, 2003 he was
sentenced to death.
Brenda Andrew was convicted of Conspiracy to Commit
Murder and First Degree Murder on September 22, 2004 and
sentenced to die.

Alleged serial burglar Colton Wayne Williams, 24, was
caught standing in a pond with some stolen items on May 26.
The Cowlington man was arrested after several people positively identified him as the man who broke into their homes.
According to the affidavit, police were first notified of Williams’ thieving ways when a man contacted them about a
break-in at his residence on Old U.S. Highway 64. The man
told a Sequoyah County deputy that he was sleeping on the
couch around 8 a.m. when what sounded like someone knocking on the door woke him up. He went to investigate, and he
noticed that the door was open and trim was knocked off. He
walked outside and saw Williams walking on his property.
Thinking Williams was a repair man, the man told him he
didn’t know he would be there that day. Williams responded
by running toward the south door of the residence, busting open the sliding glass door and
going inside the home. He also threw a tire tool at the victim.
Williams was able to get away.
The man gave the deputy three images from a motion-activated camera on his property.
This was just the first report in a string of burglaries that Williams allegedly committed
that day. He also hit up two residences in Muldrow. One was directly to the west of the first
victim’s home.
Williams’ string of burglaries came to end when a woman called police and said an unknown male was walking through her backyard. When police located him, he jumped into a
pond. Officers gave him commands to exit, but he replied, “Can I just stand here until I catch
my breath?”
Police instead went to the man and they placed him under arrest. On his person, they
found several stolen items including pill bottles and vehicle titles.
Williams told police that he broke into a house and a man chased him, but he wasn’t sure
of the details because of the drugs he had used. He also admitted to breaking into a couple
other residences.
Williams is being charged with burglary in the first degree and four counts of burglary in
the second degree. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 10, 2015.

Wagoner man Jeffrey Ray Disney, 29, was arrested May 14
after he allegedly pulled a knife on a man and threatened to
kill his family.
A man told a Wagoner County deputy that Disney approached him at approximately 2 p.m. and pulled a knife from
a pouch on his right hip. He told the man, “Come here so I can
stick you with my sticker. If you shoot my dog, you better shoot
me too.”
According to the affidavit, the victim shot Disney’s dog the
week before because it attacked his son.
Disney then told the man that he was going to kill his whole
family and have a “little fun” with his wife on the way out.
A witness gave the deputy the same account of what had
happened.
The victim’s wife said she wasn’t there during that incident,
but around 5:30 p.m., she came to a stop on 315 Road and Recreation. She said Disney pointed at her and made gestures while talking to a few other men.
The deputy found Disney at his residence on East 315 Road. He said the victim started talking to him and “being rude” about his dog. He denied ever pulling out a knife and threatening
the man.
The deputy placed him under arrest and transported him to jail.
Disney is being charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of threaten
to perform act of violence. His bond was set at $10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in
court on June 11, 2015.

A Ketchum man with no rearview mirror,
a wrong license plate and an open beer was
taken to jail after he tried to run away from an
officer on May 16.
According to the police report, a Craig
County deputy was on patrol when he noticed
a white truck traveling westbound from Main
Street to Ketchum Avenue with no rearview
mirror. He followed the vehicle and when it
stopped at the intersection of Highway 85 and
Highway 82, he also noticed that one of the
taillights wasn’t working.
The deputy checked the vehicle’s tag; he was advised it actually belonged to a 1971 Pontiac.
That was a little different from the Dodge Dakota the man was driving!
The deputy activated his lights in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but
the truck “turned west off of Highway 82 and wasn’t stopping.” The deputy then turned on his siren.
The man, 44-year-old John Derick Conary, quickly turned into the
first driveway on CR 350. He spun out in the yard and drove around
the house, eventually driving into a pile of brush behind the residence.
Conary then jumped out of the truck and took off running.
The deputy informed other officers that Conary was on the loose. He
performed a stored vehicle report on the man’s vehicle; he found an
open bottle of beer in the cup holder.
Conary was later arrested on May 21.
Conary is being charged with eluding/attempting to elude police officer, driving with license canceled/suspended/revoked, reckless driving
and transporting open bottle or container of liquor. His bond was set at
$5,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on July 17, 2015.

An Oklahoma City pizza delivery man was arrested after allegedly trespassing
at an apartment complex.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, just after midnight June 7
an officer was called to an apartment complex in reference to a trespassing suspect.
When the officer arrived on scene he discovered the suspect, 36-year-old Keith
Allen Wenzel, in custody of apartment security. Wenzel told police he was a delivery guy for Papa Johns.
The security guards told police Wenzel was at the complex June 6 and had driven past the security checkpoint. The security guards told police they attempted to wave down Wenzel
and he nearly struck one of them with his vehicle.
The guards then made contact with Wenzel who allegedly became upset. The security guards then
told him he was no longer welcome at the complex. The guards then called Papa Johns and notified
them Wenzel was not allowed on the property.
On June 7, the security guards told police Wenzel pulled up the guard shack and yelled "I'm delivering f****** pizza!" then speed off. The guards were able to locate Wenzel inside the complex and told
him he was not supposed to be at the complex.
Wenzel then got into his vehicle as the guards were attempting to detain him and began leaving
the scene. Police records show Wenzel then struck one of the guards legs with his vehicle. The guards
then drew their firearms and ordered Wenzel to stop, which he did.
Police then arrived on scene and arrested Wenzel on one complaint of trespassing. FOX 25

Miami man Daniel Hernandez Ornelas, 36, was
arrested May 23 because he was running around
the neighborhood with his “junk and butt” showing.
His poor neighbors…
According to the police report, Miami police were
informed of Ornelas’s nakedness when a couple of
men flagged down an officer in the 1600 block of D
Street at approximately 9:48 p.m. The men said the
man next door had been out in the street “totally
naked” and made threats toward them.
When police went to Ornelas’s house, he was still
proudly wearing his birthday suit. An officer asked
him what was going on. Ornelas clenched his fists
and gritted his teeth. He continued to become more aggressive while officers attempted to find out why he was running around naked. He also asked officers to
come into his “f------ house” and take their shirts off.
Unfortunately for the naked-loving men, that was one party the cops didn’t
want to attend. He went back and forth from telling police “leave me alone” and to
“come inside, bitch.”
An officer started to walk away from Ornelas, but Ornelas yelled, “Oh, oh I like
that big one right there!”
He also called the officer “son” and “n——.” The still nude man then clenched his
fists and started walking toward officers in an aggressive manner. Officers tased
the man and placed him in handcuffs.
Victims of Ornelas’s nakedness told police that he was walking around making
threats to people and chasing his girlfriend. One victim said you could see his “junk
and his butt.”
Ornelas threatened to kill and rape one man.
A woman said she and her young son were also exposed to Ornelas’s antics. She
said when a car drove by, the headlights illuminated the man and she and her son
saw “his penis and butt in the headlights.”
Ornelas is being charged with indecent exposure and obstruction of officer. He
was released on a $6,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 1, 2015.
