An 18-year-old Wynnewood man was arrested on Christmas Eve for allegedly pointing
a gun at some people and making them fear for
their lives.
According to the affidavit, a Garvin County
deputy was dispatched to Elmore City shortly
after 1 p.m. The reporting party said his classmate, Marshall Dalton McGuire, pointed a pistol at him and his friend. He added that the two
didn’t get along.
The victim explained that he was in a gas station parking lot when he saw McGuire traveling eastbound on Highway 29. The victim also
turned eastbound on Highway 29 and followed
the suspect to the 4-way stop at ECR 1650 and
NCR 3170.
At the stop known as “Bobo’s Corner,” the victim said McGuire held up a gun in
his back window. He then held it out of the window and started swinging it back
and forth.
The victim said he became really scared when McGuire pointed the gun at him.
He threw his car in reverse and drove away from the suspect. He said McGuire
chased him, but he was eventually able to lose the gun-toting teen.
A female that was in the car with the victim told police the same account of
events. She said McGuire made her fear for her life and safety.
The deputy went the NCR 3190 in Wynnewood and made contact with the suspect. He asked McGuire if he knew why he was there. McGuire told him “probably
because of a little boy out of Elmore City.”
McGuire said he and his girlfriend were at a gas stating in Elmore City, and the
victim kept driving around him “staring [him] down.” McGuire said he felt like
the victim was harassing him, so he left the business, but the victim followed him.
He admitted that he held a gun up in the back window of his car so the victim
could see it. He also said he waved it out the window, but he denied pointing it at
either of the victims. He said the gun belonged to his girlfriend’s dad.
After McGuire retrieved the gun, the deputy placed him under arrest and took
him to jail.
McGuire is being charged with feloniously pointing a firearm. He was released
on a $4,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 12, 2016.

Ada man Jessie Lee Daltron Pratt, 34, committed a
string of crimes in a Wayne neighborhood on December
28, including burglary, kidnapping, assault and battery,
and larceny.
His reign of terror ended after one of his victims took
him down.
According to the affidavit, Pratt started off by assaulting a 13-year-old boy at a residence in the 200 block of
Lewis Court. Before leaving that home, he stole a pistol
from the homeowner’s bedroom.
Pratt then left on foot and knocked on a door at a
house in the 200 block of Bayless Court. He asked an
11-year-old to borrow a phone so he could make a call.
The unsuspecting kid handed him a cell phone. Pratt left with the boy’s phone in
hand, but he wasn’t done yet.
In the 100 block of Bayless Court, he knocked on the door and again asked to
borrow a phone. The woman who answered the door closed it and sent her husband to respond to the man.
When the husband went to retrieve the phone, Pratt forced his way into the
home and held the victims at gunpoint. He allegedly told the three victims to stay
on the couch, and demanded they call his daughter. When they couldn’t call his
daughter, he made them go into the utility room. Pratt told the husband that he
had until the count of three to make the call, or he would blow their brains out.
The victim wasn’t about to make that happen. In a heroic effort to save his family,
the man lunged at Pratt and held him down until police arrived.
Pratt was arrested and thrown in a jail cell, where he apparently belonged.
Pratt is being charged with burglary in the first degree, three counts of kidnapping, feloniously pointing firearm, threaten to perform act of violence, assault
and battery, and two counts of petit larceny. His bond was set at $100,000, and
he is scheduled to appear in court on January 20, 2016.

On January 12, the Murray County Sheriff’s
Office requested OSBI agents investigate a jail
death inside the county jail.
Timothy Brent Ansivino, 35, was found unresponsive inside the cell he shared with other
inmates. He was transported to the Arbuckle
Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced
dead.
Officials found no visible signs of trauma on
his body.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner
will perform an autopsy to determine Ansivino’s manner of death. He was booked into the
county jail January 11, 2016, for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution of a
controlled substance, trafficking in illegal drugs, and two counts of possession of a controlled
substance.
Ansivino is from Edmond.

An Ardmore man faces serious felony charges after
he shot a teen girl on January 8.
Craig Anderson, 29, was charged January 12 with
felony shooting with intent to kill, in Carter County
District Court.
According to court records, Anderson used a Raven
.25 caliber semi-automatic pistol to shoot a 17-yearold girl. Reports state she was shot in the neck.
The shooting stemmed from an argument between
the two, according to reports. The girl was taken to
an Oklahoma City hospital and released several days
later.
Anderson’s bond was set at $250,000 and he was
ordered not to have any contact with the victim. His
preliminary conference is scheduled for March 3 at 9:00 a.m.
If convicted, Anderson could face between 20 years to life in prison.

A woman is facing several charges after going on a
rampage at a Waffle House restaurant in Kennesaw,
Georgia, all while completely naked.
The incident happened January 8 around 10:30 p.m.
at the location on George Busbee Parkway.
According to police, the woman, identified as Jennifer
Nicholson, stripped off her clothes, punched a woman
in the face and then threw a plate at a window. She also
threw several platters at patrons of the restaurant.
When police tried to subdue Nicholson, she fought
back, scratching an officer.
The woman who was punched sustained a broken
nose in the attack.
Nicholson is facing several assault and public indecency charges.
She’s currently being held in the Cobb County Jail.

A Madill woman with a lengthy
criminal record was taken into
custody again on January 13 after
she attacked a man with a knife.
Tonia Jamison, 47, was charged
January 14 with felony assault
and battery with a dangerous
weapon, in Marshall County District Court.
According to court records,
Jamison attacked a man with a
knife on January 13, cutting his
right hand above his pinky finger.
Less than a month earlier, she
was arrested for public drunk.
On New Year’s Eve 2014, she was
arrested for malicious injury to
property.
But that’s not all. In the last five years, she’s been charged with
11 crimes, including the ones just mentioned.
Jamison’s bond was set at $30,000 and she was ordered back
to court for her preliminary hearing conference on February 4 at
2:15 pm.

When a police officer stopped Noble man Gene Austin
Coltharp, 32, on January 5, the man tried to explain away the
jumble of items in his car.
Unfortunately for him, this wasn’t the officer’s first rodeo,
and the man was transported to jail.
According to the affidavit, a Norman officer pulled over
Coltharp in the 1500 block of E. Lindsey because his tag had
expired in October 2015. When the officer looked in the vehicle,
he noticed Coltharp was wearing a pair of headphones. There
was also a large flat screen TV, speakers, a banjo case and other
items in the backseat. A large knife was sticking out of the middle console.
The officer suspected the items might be stolen, but Coltharp had a perfectly
reasonable explanation. He told the cop that he had just moved back to Oklahoma,
and he was hauling the items in his vehicle because he had no place to keep them.
The officer asked him if he had ever been arrested. Coltharp said yes, for knowingly concealing stolen property and possession of CDS.
While they were speaking, the man was visibly shaking and seemed to be extremely nervous. Suspecting that the items in the backseat might be stolen, and
stolen items and drugs sometimes go together, the officer asked if he could search
the car. Coltharp said no. The officer then got his K9 and took the dog for a walk
around the vehicle. The dog alerted to the presence of narcotics.
The officer searched the vehicle and found a pair of brass knuckles, a sawed off
shotgun and an iPad. Dispatch advised that Coltharp was a convicted felon.
Police contacted the iPad owner, and he confirmed that it was his. The owner
said he was out of town.
When officers went to the victim’s house, it was obvious it had been burglarized.
Coltharp is being charged with possession of sawed off shotgun/rifle, possession
of firearm after former felony conviction and carrying weapons. He was released
on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on January 19, 2016.
