CACHEING OUT
A Lawton man is being charged in connection
with several felony child sex crimes that allegedly
happened in Cache earlier this year.
Jean Paul LaRue, 42, was charged November
27 with one count of rape by instrumentation and
two counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16, in Caddo County District Court.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), on August 14, 2024, the Cache Police Department requested
OSBI to investigate allegations of lewd or indecent proposals made to a minor.
OSBI special agents initiated their comprehensive investigation and identified the
suspect as Jean Paul LaRue.
Investigators learned that LaRue had engaged in inappropriate communication and made physical contact with a minor on multiple occasions.
Based on the information and evidence gathered, LaRue was arrested on
November 27 and booked into the Comanche County Jail. No charges have
been filed in Comanche County as of press time. He was later transported to the
Caddo County Jail to face charges. Bond was set at $25,000.

AROUND THE NATION
Foiled again
During the early morning hours of November 7, A
Brevard County (Florida) sheriff’s deputy was out on a
leisurely patrol in a wooded area when he came upon
Matthew Korecky who quickly grabbed a piece of aluminum foil, along with a bag containing a green powdery substance that he retrieved from a yellow box near
his feet.
As soon as the confronted Korecky, he tried to hide
the items under his body, hoping the deputy hadn’t seen his actions. Unfortunately for
him, he wasn’t quick enough and the deputy detained Korecky and collected the unknown items. As things progressed, it didn’t take long before the deputy located not only
the drugs he was trying to hide, but more drugs and a firearm that had been reported
stolen out of a nearby police station’s jurisdiction.
In total, Korecky had 17.4g of methamphetamine, 4 pills identified as muscle relaxers,
and approximately 8.3 grams of Fentanyl, which if put into a lethal dose would be enough
to kill just over 4,000 people.
To top it all off, Korecky is a convicted felon and is unable to legally possess firearms,
but clearly he doesn’t obey the law.
The good news is that Korecky is now residing in the big house on no bond, as he was
arrested for Trafficking in Fentanyl, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession
of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Use/
Display Firearm or Carry Conceal Firearm
During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. AARON

MULTI COUNTY GRAND
JURY INDICTS FOUR FOR
ROBBERIES OF CASH,
MARIJUANA
The Multi-County Grand Jury has indicted four men in a
pair of robberies for allegedly stealing cash and marijuana
from two Oklahoma marijuana grow operations.
Geane Johnson Jr., 25, Herbert Lee Morris Jr., 20,
Anthony Jermaine Rainger, 21, and Ameil Jordan Elijah
Rainger, 20, each face multiple felony counts for allegedly
robbing Butter Cookies LLC in Marlow on June 25 and
Fuda2020 LLC in Alex on June 29. The men are accused
of stealing cash and bundles of packaged marijuana from
each business in association with the Murder I Blood street
gang.
“These crimes are among the many dangerous activities we are seeing across our state following the legalization of medical marijuana,” said Attorney General Gentner
Drummond. “My office is committed to stamping out these
crimes and holding accountable those who are endangering public safety.”
The accused face nine felony counts of conspiracy to
commit first degree robbery, first degree robbery, first degree burglary, assault while masked or in disguise, commission of a gang-related offense and engaging in a pattern of criminal offenses. Johnson and Morris also face a
count of possession of a firearm during a felony.
The men are believed to be connected to other robberies that are currently under investigation.

THAT'S METHED UP!
Officers recently found and seized almost $6 million worth of methamphetamine in less than two weeks at the United States-Mexico
border, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced. Officials
said the drug hauls were discovered in two separate incidents, hidden
inside a shipment of celery and wrapped in packaging designed to resemble watermelons.
The first seizure happened on the evening of August 9, when border agents at the Otay Mesa
Commercial Facility, an inspection port just over the southern border in San Diego, found 629
pounds of methamphetamine in a grocery shipping crate filled with celery. Border Patrol said that
agents discovered the narcotics while performing an inspection on a commercial tractor-trailer, driven by a 34-year-old man with a legitimate border crossing card who entered the U.S. from Mexico
with cargo on board his truck. The driver was transporting a shipment that had been declared as
celery, according to the federal authorities.
Agents used a K-9 unit to do the inspection, which revealed 508 packages that testing later
confirmed contained methamphetamine. Border Patrol said the haul had an estimated street value
of $755,000.
“Our officers’ vigilance and expertise once again thwarted an attempt to smuggle narcotics disguised as everyday produce,” said Rosa Hernandez, the port director for Otay Mesa, in a statement.
As San Diego County contends with a well-documented crisis over methamphetamine abuse that
has run rampant for decades and is linked to smuggling, Hernandez noted in that statement the
agency’s “commitment to protecting our communities from the perils of drug trafficking.”
Less than two weeks after the celery seizure, agents at the same inspection facility in Otay Mesa
discovered an even larger haul of methamphetamine. This time, the produce meant to conceal the
drugs was fake.
Another commercial tractor-trailer, driven by a 29-year-old man said to be transporting watermelons from Mexico into the U.S., was found to contain 1,220 packages of methamphetamine,
according to the Border Patrol. The drugs were wrapped inside packaging that might be mistaken
for watermelon from a distance. But closer inspection revealed the packages were actually filled with
4,587 pounds of meth, a haul with a street value exceeding $5 million, according to the agency.
Both of these seizures came as part of Operation Apollo, an ongoing project to combat trafficking
of fentanyl, a synthetic drug that the U.S. government has declared as a leading source of the current
opioid overdose epidemic in this country. It’s focused in California and Arizona.
The discoveries in California bookended a third, similar incident in Georgia, where agents found more than 2,300 pounds
of meth hidden inside a truck carrying celery at a farmer’s market outside of Atlanta. Earlier this year, six tons of meth were
discovered inside a shipment of squash in California, after
3,000 pounds of the narcotic and cocaine were found
last year in bins of jalapeño
paste that were being transported over the border. Traffickers have also stashed
drugs inside shipments of
green beans, sugar, flour and
candy.

CRIMES THAT
FOLLOW
A former Apache EMT now living in Oregon is
back in Oklahoma to face a multitude of child sex
crimes that he committed before leaving the state.
Timothy D. Clauson, 62, of Hammond, Ore.,
was charged Sept. 15, 2022, with 10 counts of
felony rape by instrumentation and 56 counts
of child sexual abuse, in Caddo County District
Court.
Reports state Clauson was convicted and sentenced in an Oregon court earlier this year to 12 years in prison and 20 years of probation for charges related
to the sexual abuse of his five children throughout their childhoods. He pleaded
guilty in Clatsop County Circuit Court (Ore.) to sexual abuse in the first and
second degrees, unlawful penetration in the first degree and using a child in a
display of sexually explicit content.
The abuse spanned 20 years.
Clauson was finally expedited back to Oklahoma in November after his conviction in Oregon to face charges in Caddo County.
Bond for Clauson was set at $1M and his next court appearance is scheduled
for Jan. 16, 2025.

NO REASON
An Altus woman is facing murder charges after
she allegedly confessed to killing her husband on
Thanksgiving Day.
Tammy Lockman, 52, was charged December
3 with Murder in the first degree- deliberate intent,
in Jackson County District Court.
According to reports, Altus police and fire departments responded to a vehicle fire in the 2800
block of Shiloh Lane. When the flames were extinguished, they discovered the
body of a man inside.
The vehicle’s tag number was traced to a woman who lived nearby. The woman was identified as Lockman.
Lockman initially said her husband was inside the house, but that wasn’t true.
Instead, they found a gas can and pill packages inside the house.
Lockman eventually confessed that she and her husband- the victim in the
burned vehicle- were intoxicated and that she had made threats against him.
She allegedly told investigators that she set her husband on fire “for a really good
reason” and they had been arguing.
Video surveillance obtained by police from nearby witnesses showed Lockman approach the vehicle, pour the contents of a container into the car, and
then told the victim to get out. Flames then could be seen inside the car. Lockman stood observing for a few minutes and then walked away from the scene.
Lockman was booked into the Jackson County Jail on a $2M bond. She is
scheduled to appear for her preliminary hearing on January 16, 2025.

AROUND THE STATE
Can you shoot at a drone? – Nope, and here is a
recent incident about it.
On Nov. 6, around 5:15 p.m., Officers responded to a call about shots fired behind a church at
9120 E. Broken Arrow Expressway.
Security at the church said they saw a man
walking near their building, then heard a gunshot
ring out from the suspect’s location.
Officers arrived and quickly found the suspect, Blake Butler, on a nearby trail.
Butler admitted to having a gun concealed in his waistband. Blake surrendered
without incident, and police were able to recover the semi-automatic pistol.
While determining if Butler was just randomly firing a pistol or if he had a specific target, Officers located a man who said he was flying his drone in preparation
of a nearby event. The man said Butler pulled out a pistol and fired at the drone.
When we questioned Butler about it, he told officers that he thought the drone
was following him, so he shot at it.
Blake Butler was arrested for Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and Possession
of a Firearm AFCF. No one was injured in this incident, including the UAS.

FROM COPPER TUBES
TO STEEL BARS
Two men were arrested after they allegedly stole some
copper and caused a bunch of damage to a construction site on November 16.
According to reports, Grady County deputies were
dispatched to the 1700 block of CS 2840 at a construction site near Amber.
When two workers arrived on site, they saw two men
with copper tubing in the bed of their truck.
The workers confronted the men. The men then
threatened the construction workers with pipes before
driving away from the scene. Luckily, one of the workers
got the tag number on the suspect vehicle.
A short time later, deputies found the suspects at the
Castle Inn.
The suspects were identified as Chickasha man Jacob Logan Reid, 31, and 47-year-old Brian Dale Brewer
of Wilburton.
Reid and Brewer allegedly destroyed 17 commercial air conditioning units,
resulting in nearly $200,000 worth of damage.
Reid is being charged with burglary in the second degree, entering with intent
to steal copper, and threaten to perform an act of violence. His bond was set at
$50,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on January 8, 2025.

DECEMBER IS NATIONAL IMPAIRED
DRIVING PREVENTION MONTH
Two of the most celebrated dates in December –
Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve – are also among
the most dangerous. In 2018, drunk driving crashes
claimed 108 lives in those two days alone, accounting
for nearly half of total traffic deaths.
That is why Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD)
is teaming up with law enforcement agencies across
the country throughout the month of December, which
has been recognized as National Impaired Driving Prevention Month for the 39th consecutive year.
During December 2018, 839 people died in alcohol-related crashes, according to the
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While drunk driving deaths typically represent around a third of all traffic fatalities, that increased to nearly 50 percent on Dec. 24
and Dec. 31.
On Dec. 25, 2018, 35 people died in drunk driving crashes.
This is staggering.
The pain caused by one person’s choice to drive impaired is often permanent. Every
single death left a permanent empty seat at the table and turned a time of celebration
into tragedy.
And every single death was 100 percent preventable.
We’re asking everyone to take personal responsibility this holiday season by making
a plan for a safe ride home before your celebrations begin. Designate a non-drinking,
unimpaired driver. Take a taxi, a bus, or a train. Use a rideshare app like Uber. If you’re a
host, provide an alternative to your guests, such as festive, non-alcoholic drinks offered
by our partner Mocktail Beverages.
You can also show your commitment to drive sober by displaying one of our Tie One
On for Safety red ribbons or magnetic decals on your vehicle, which are available at our
local MADD offices around the country.
Drunk driving crashes increase throughout the month of December as more people
travel and attend events where alcohol is served. That is why every U.S. President since
Ronald Reagan has proclaimed December National Impaired Driving Prevention Month.
President Donald Trump continued in that tradition this month, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to prevent tragedies by making the decision to drive sober.
The proclamation also remembers victims of impaired driving, offers prayers for grieving families impacted by these tragedies and honors law enforcement who are on the
front lines of the violent, preventable crime of impaired driving. TITOENRIQUE
