MILLION DOLLAR
BABIES
A Lawton man will be spending a lot more time
in Arizona after he allegedly heisted a semi loaded
with high-end sports cars.
Isaiah Walker, 23, was booked into the Cochise
County Jail for multiple felony charges including
Robbery, 11 counts of Theft of Means of Transportation, and Felony Theft.
A press release issued by Cochise County
Sheriff Mark J. Daniels stated that on February 15, a semi-truck driver was assaulted and robbed at the Willcox Loves Truck Stop at I-10 in Arizona.
The perpetrator, Walker, spoke to the man about his truckload, lulled him
into a sense of security, and when the driver was entering his vehicle, Walker
grabbed the victim and threw him from the cab. Walker then entered the semitruck, locked the door, stole the vehicle, and drove it from the parking lot. The
stolen car-hauling semi, was transporting 10 Chevrolet C8 Corvettes with an
estimated value above $1,250,000. Walker left the truck stop traveling north on
Fort Grant Road.
A deputy from the Cochise County Sheriff’s Department located the stolen
vehicle near Fort Grant Road and Browns Market where the officer attempted
to stop the vehicle, which failed to yield to the deputy’s emergency lights and
sirens. Walker began driving recklessly, which caused motoring vehicles to leave
the roadway.
As the stolen vehicle approached North Fort Grant Road and County Line
Road, the vehicle turned onto County Line Road and stopped. Walker was taken
into custody by the deputy and a Willcox Police Officer, who provided Walker
with his Miranda Rights and interviewed him on the scene.
Walker admitted to stealing the semi-truck and advised that the Corvettes
were not the reason and that he needed a truck to get home, as he had just
been released from prison.
Willcox Police Chief Dale Hadfield stated, “I am extremely proud of the officer
and deputy involved in this investigation. The deputy and officer showed great
restraint and patience in bringing a serious crime to a peaceful resolution, all
while keeping the property of others from being damaged. The stolen vehicle
was safely recovered without damage and was released to the driver so he
could continue his delivery. Again, I thank the officer and deputy who were involved in this investigation for keeping our citizens safe.” SHAYRELA

SHOWING WHAT
SHE GOT
A 35-year-old Marlow woman allegedly flashed
herself to officers after they made her leave a
man’s residence on February 23.
According to the affidavit, a man spoke to an
officer at the Marlow Police Department and said
there were two women staying at his house because their car was broken down. He told the officer that on February 22, the woman held him
hostage in his room and wouldn’t let him leave. He also said they hit him with his
belt multiple times. He asked the officer to go to his home and tell the women
to leave.
When the officer arrived at the residence, located in the 300 block of South
Walnut, the front door was open. He announced himself, and a woman came to
the door and said her name was Serena Marie Blalack. She told the officer he
could come inside.
Blalack and her girlfriend told the officer that the man had actually locked them
in a bedroom the night before and wouldn’t let them leave. The officer asked the
woman to step outside to talk more.
While the officer was speaking to another officer about the situation, Blalack
became agitated and started screaming and cussing. The officer told her multiple times to calm down, or else she was going to be arrested.
The officer filled out trespass forms and told the woman they needed to leave.
The woman signed the forms and went back into the house to get their stuff.
Blalack then walked onto the porch and started screaming and exposed herself. When the officer told her she was under arrest, she ran back into the house,
fell onto the floor, and pulled a dining room table over herself. She also pulled her
pants back down and her bra up.
After officers placed her in handcuffs, she refused to have her pants pulled
up and instead kicked them completely off. They had to carry the woman out
of the house, even though she kept trying to use her legs to grab onto stuff to
stop them. Blalack then walked into the street and pulled her pants down to her
knees, exposing herself again.
Blalack is being charged with indecent exposure after the former conviction
of two or more felonies, outraging public decency, and resisting an officer. Her
bond was set at $25,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court on April 17,

ATTIC FANATIC
A 19-year-old Caddo County man is facing
multiple charges for separate burglaries he allegedly committed in January and February.
According to reports, in late January, Austin
Camberg reportedly broke into a Cyril gas station,
entering the building through the drive-through
window. He stole several items from the store.
A few weeks later, police officers confronted
Camberg due to allegations that he had broken
into a car and threatened to shoot up a home.
Officers later found the man at another home. He hid from the officers in the
attic and refused when they ordered him to come down. He was eventually
arrested and transported to jail.
Camberg is being charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, larceny of merchandise from a retailer, obstructing an officer, and threatening to perform an act of violence. His bond was set at $10,000, and he is
scheduled to appear in court on April 25, 2024.

News Flash! Trucks don’t surf!
A New York man was arrested and charged in
Florida after authorities caught him driving his pickup truck into the ocean at New Smyrna Beach, just
south of Daytona Beach, early on Tuesday.
A video shared by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office
shows a person driving a white pickup truck into the
water — sometimes driving alongside the waves and other times against it — and
even attempting to perform a donut.
The driver — later identified as 49-year-old Jason Brzuszkiewicz, of Bridgeport,
N.Y. — is then seen off the water chatting with deputies, who informed him the
beach was closed due to high tides.
Bodycam video also shows Brzuszkiewicz attempting to hide from a camera by
covering part of his face with a black baseball cap. He then tells an officer that he’s
not really the one to blame. “It’s not my fault truck don’t surf!” he says.
“Yeah, but you shouldn’t be driving on the beach when the gates are all closed,”
one deputy responds.
“I thought I was in England,” Brzuszkiewicz says.
When the deputy confirms they are not in England, Brzuszkiewicz’s response gets
even more colorful.
“We are not in Kansas, anymore?” he asks, using the famous Judy Garland line
from 1939’s MGM classic “The Wizard of Oz” — before laughing at his own joke.
According to the sheriff’s office, Brzuszkiewicz “drove around a closed gate
marked DO NOT ENTER and
accessed the beach in New
Smyrna Beach.”
He was ultimately charged
with a violation of the Volusia
County Ordinance — failure to
pay vehicular access fee — and
then taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail on a $200 bond.

DON'T BANK ON IT
Two men from Cotton County are being
charged with fraud and conspiracy after they allegedly stole tens of thousands of dollars from a
bank account in 2023.
According to reports, 30-year-old Keevin Aron
Smith from Walters and 35-year-old Cason Wade
Smith, 35, worked together to steal some money
from someone else’s bank account.
Between February and May last year, the pair
allegedly stole tens of thousands of dollars from
the account. They apparently spent the stolen
money buying a truck and some other stuff.
Both men are being charged with computer
fraud/unlawful use of computer system and conspiracy to commit computer fraud/unlawful use of
computer system.
Cason Smith’s bond was set at $100,000, and
he is scheduled to appear in court on May 30,
2024.
Keevin Smith’s bond was set at $50,000, and
he is scheduled to appear in court on May 16,
2024.
We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.
Thank you and God Bless
