What The Bible Says About Drugs
Respect the drug laws of the land – Finding specific
reference to drugs in the Word of God is difficult. However,
the effects from illegal drugs and abuse of prescription
medication is obviously against the law of man. It is illegal,
therefore, as Christians and citizens, we are to respect the
laws of the land. God has put people in government positions
to make choices for the better of mankind (remains to be
determined if man has done a good job or not).
Altering our minds – We also know that in several places
throughout the Bible we are warned of the foolishness of
altering our minds by way
of alcohol. In 1 Peter 2:11,
we are to abstain from
the passions of the flesh,
which wage war against our
soul. Therefore, anything
that causes us to destroy
ourselves, obviously should
be avoided. This could
be interpreted as drugs,
alcohol, sexual immorality,
gluttony, etc.

Not learning her lesson the first time, an Enid woman was jailed for
a felony DUI complaint Nov. 23.
Enid police officer Samantha Chenausky received a call to go to the
800 block of East Elm following an accident. Dispatch said the driver,
Felicia Roye, 30, was passed out in her car after the airbags deployed.
While getting accident details, Chenausky approached Roye, who
was driving a tan Buick with a tribal license plate. When the officer
tried to get Roye to come out of the car, she looked “dazed and confused” and kept hitting the lock button instead of the unlock button,
Chenausky said.
When the door finally opened, Roye said she was “just hanging out”
and had not been in an accident. However, when Roye came out, she smelled strongly of
alcohol and couldn’t stand because she had eight to 10 “brewskis”, she said. Realizing her
predicament, Roye said, “can we just go to the jail?”
Chenausky told her she would not be jailed unless she was too drunk to drive. Roye said
she was not drunk, despite multiple failed sobriety tests, according to the affidavit. When she
failed the nystagmus test, she asked, “can’t we just go to jail? I’m embarrassed.”
Roye had some reason to be embarrassed, as it was her third DUI charge and second felony
charge. She was convicted in June 2003 of two DUIs from 2000 and 2002 and received a
one-year suspended jail sentence for each, which ran concurrently. She was also convicted of
actual physical control while intoxicated in 2010, which landed her in drug court.
Roye posted a $1,000 bond Nov. 27. She has court set for 1:15 p.m. Jan. 14.

A roadside nap ended with a
Washington State man’s arrest in
Enid for felony drug charges Nov.
13.
At about 4 a.m. that day, Enid police officer Robert Fleer was on patrol when he saw Brian Butler, 40,
sleeping in a silver car parked in an
open field. It was about 30 degrees
outside and the car was not running, prompting a welfare check,
Fleer said.
Butler gave Fleer his Washington
ID, which, during a warrant check,
helped officers discover he had a
federal warrant for a probation violation for cocaine possession. When Butler got out of his car to be
detained, another officer saw a bag of marijuana on the floorboard,
according to the affidavit.
When Fleer told Butler he was under arrest for marijuana possession, the suspect said, “It’s just my small bag of weed on the floor!”
However, Butler couldn’t explain away the contents of his pockets.
During a search of Butler’s person, officers found a plastic bag of
crack cocaine in his stocking cap. Butler said he didn’t know what it
was and denied ownership of the drug.
When Butler arrived at the jail, he admitted knowing about the
crack cocaine and said it and the marijuana was for his personal use.
A more intensive search at the jail turned up a hypodermic needle
hidden in Butler’s overalls.
Fleer and the other officers determined Butler had six grams of
crack cocaine, which earned him a trafficking charge, according to
the affidavit.
Butler remains in custody on a $75,000 bond. He will appear in
court at 1:15 p.m. Dec. 10.

By Lt. Jeff James
Oklahoma Highway Patrol
Today, I’m going to discuss who
has the biggest impact on our
new drivers that hit the road each
and every day. First, the Oklahoma Driver’s Education classes and
schools across the state are second to none, and do a fantastic job
of educating our young drivers on the law, and proper way to safely
operate a motor vehicle. I would like to point to some other folks, who
I believe have a far greater impact on how our youngsters approach
driving, and address them, and that is the adults who these young
drivers look up to: the parents, older siblings, and extended family.
If you fit in this category, please pay attention. I believe that our
kids learn their driving behavior not from the Oklahoma Highway
Patrol, other law enforcement, or driver’s education instructor, but
from you, the parents and family. I know I learned that way! Let me
give you some examples.
You are a dad, and for whatever reason, when you are driving in
town, or on a county road, you just don’t buckle up. Maybe its because
you don’t drive fast in these areas, or have a farm tag and just don’t
have to; however, you do buckle up when you get on highways or go
on long drives. The message you are sending is that when you are in
the vehicle there are certain times that it is ok not to wear your seat
belt. If dad doesn’t have to do it, I don’t either! In fact, at least 50%
of all accidents happen on county roads, and you are more likely to be
in an accident within 10 miles of your residence than otherwise. So
the real message you are sending is, don’t buckle up during the times
that you are most likely to need it!
Next, mom gets off work at 5:00, and one of the kids has a ball
game in another town at 5:30. She can get there if she speeds. After
all, it is important to get to those activities, and it won’t hurt to push
the speed just a little. The message you send to your kids is, its ok to
speed, as long as you can justify it! The facts are that unsafe speeds
kill more young people 16 to 25 than any other single thing! The
message here needs to be that its ok to slow down and show up a few
minutes late.....it is much better than the alternative, which is never
showing up at all because you’ve been involved in an accident.
Please remember, when you are driving, you are setting the example
for someone....and they are watching you all the time. What message
are you sending? I hope it’s the one that says, I’ll lead by example
because I love you, and want to do my part to keep you safe! Thanks
for reading, buckle up, and be safe!

Tulsa Police arrested a Sand Springs man in the
early-morning hours of Nov. 9 after he allegedly
shoplifted from a QuikTrip store.
Jail records show Justin Levi Brimer, 24, was
arrested on complaints of driving under the influence, assault and battery on a police officer and endangering others while eluding police.
Justin Brimer stole a case of beer and some taquitos from the QT at I-244 and Sheridan at around 2
a.m, according to a report. As Brimer was fleeing
the scene in his truck, a Tulsa police officer pulled
into the store’s parking lot just the clerk went outside. The clerk pointed at the truck and the chase
was on.
Police officers caught up with him on I-244 and,
after a short chase, Brimer pulled his pickup truck over. The beer and food
were found in his truck.
After much ado, Brimer was taken to the Tulsa County Jail and booked.

OK Jailbirds is cooperating with the efforts of Oklahoma
Department of Human Services to impact the huge social
problem of irresponsible parents who are not paying the
child supports ordered by our courts.
If these biological-only parents won’t honor the courts
order, perhaps public shame will get their attention.
If you know how to reach any of the Deadbeat Parents found on this page, please call the Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Child Support HotLine at 1-800-522-8014
It’s ALL about the KIDS!
Importance of Child Support
Children are our future and child support helps make sure they have a chance at a
productive life. Children have the right to get support from both parents and do not
lose this right when a parent leaves the home.
When children do not receive child support, they can:
Suffer both Emotionally and Physically
Live within a Reduced Standard of Living
Have their Basic Needs Unmet
Become Non-Supportive when they become Parents.
When one or both parents do not support their children, taxpayers often pay the cost
of raising children. When children receive public assistance and their parents pay no
child support, all taxpayers bear the cost of supporting the children.

Garry Thomas Allen:
Executed Nov. 6, 2012
Convicted murderer Garry Thomas Allen,
whose Oklahoma execution had been halted
three times while legal questions about his
mental health were debated, was put to death
by lethal injection Nov. 6, a state prison
spokesman said.
Allen, 56, killed the mother of his two children
on November 21, 1986, gunning her down in
front of daycare workers after she arrived to
pick up the couple’s 2- and 6-year-old sons.
Gail Titsworth, 24, had moved out of Thomas’
home four days earlier and rebuff ed his pleas
to return.
Allen was drunk and shot the woman four
times before a police offi cer found him in a nearby alley and shot him in the
face during a struggle over the offi cer’s gun.
Allen lost his left eye and sustained brain damage from the gunshot
wound, according to court testimony, but a jury found him competent to
stand trial.
Allen, who had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse and had been
hospitalized for psychological problems, insisted on entering a “blind” guilty
plea to murder, meaning the plea was entered without his knowing what his
punishment would be.
His plea was intended to spare the emotions of his family and the family of
the woman he killed, records show.
Allen was the fi fth inmate executed in Oklahoma this year and the 36th in
the United States. He was pronounced dead at 6:10 p.m. local time at the
Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, said state prison spokesman
Jerry Massie.
Allen delivered a rambling and often unintelligible fi nal statement that
touched on the presidential election, including a prediction that “it’s going
to be a very close race,” Massie said.

What you’re saying
about this on...
PAULA E: Trust He Will Get His In Lockup
Just Put Him In Gen Pop O Boys Take Care
Of Em
ANGIE W: Not only was there a naked
toddler outside in the cold, and another
naked toddler locked in a dog crate there was
a naked toddler in the bed with him!!
CARRIE J: Thank god there was an alert
neighbor to bring this situation to an end. Sick
bastard... Hope those babies are getting help
CAMIE L: he got off easy because if i was the
judge he would of got 10 years after he got the
same treatment he gave the dogs
CONNIE J: Freak
REGINA R: Lock him in the jail cell naked..
hmmm wonder what would happen to him?
JACK H: Anyone else think this guy looks
like Freddy Krueger?
DONNA T: grrrr ought to do the same to
him....crazy ppl
SHAWNA D: wow dam people r sick an
crazy these days.
ANGIE T: Sadly our system will probably
fail these children, many of these parents are
slapped on the wrist told to take a few classes
then let go freely. Then these children fall prey
to the same thing happening over and over.
Oklahoma does not take serious offenses
seriously, too many kids are abused and sent
back to the parents who abused them (foster
and real). Then they end up seriously injured
or worse. His bond is set low for what he did.
Sadly unless some big changes happen they
won’t even throw a piece of paper at him...
Katie L: What a friggin piece of crap...what
the he’ll would possess him? That angers me.
Praying for those poor babies
Jimmy W: These children will die or have
worse done to them in dhs custody. It amazes
me that most people don’t know about this.
Google where Oklahoma is on the most
abused children are in the us. ...If u would like
to help abused children you can always go to
genesiskids.com or your local dhs office.
Michael W: I hate to stereotype a guy based
on his looks but HOLY HELL! He looks like a
maniac and he obviously is.
TERESA B: He should know better than to
take all those drugs with beer!!! Give me a
friggin’ break. I think it’s best the kids were
taken from him. What they were learning by
watching him anyway? And to put a child in
a dog crate?????? And covered in feces???
Jimmy...DHS or this man??? I bet they r both
in nice warm beds now.
TENA S: my heart breaks for those babies
:( as for him, I’d like to rip his out of his
chest still beating and shove it down his damn
throat!!! It sickens me how much I read of this
almost daily!! I could really rant on this one,
but Im sure most of you are thinking it already
:D
WILLIAM L: if thats how yall think about
society then whatever. i just see the same
comments over and over again when things
arent really that bad. alot of people need help
more than death or jail. like yall aint ever done
nothing wrong. there is so much crap in this
world no one knows what to think anymore
but the bad. just like this stupid page. why
not have follow ups on these people to make
a difference and actually see change instead
of hate. damn wife or girlfriend or whatever
probably drove him to it anyway.
GAYLENE C: There is a special place in h*ll
for people who abuse a child . Yes Oklahoma
has a high rate . Also don’t have enough
people willing to do foster care since the state
doesn’t even pay enough to cover the cost the
child needs
William Lewallen, a 47-year-old Tulsa
man, was jailed Nov. 11 after police found
three unattended, naked children on his
property. One child was found locked in a
dog cage, covered with feces.
According to police, officers were
dispatched to Lewallen’s residence after
a neighbor heard the screams of a child
who had been stripped naked and locked
outside in the cold while the boy’s father
was passed out inside.
Investigators say officers arrived at the
residence and could immediately hear a
child screaming from inside the residence.
While looking for an open entrance
into the house, officers came upon an
18-month-old girl who was naked, covered
in feces and locked inside a dog cage.
When the officers kicked in the home’s
back door, they encountered a second
naked child inside who seemed to be
unattended. A further sweep of the house
revealed a third naked child who was
asleep on a bed in the master bedroom.
Officers also found Lewallen who was
passed out next to
the child.
During a police
i n t e r v i e w ,
Lewallen stated
that he fell asleep
after ingesting
a combination
of pain meds, a
muscle relaxer
and anti-seizure
medication.
“The screaming child in the dog kennel
did not wake the defendant nor did the
officers kicking the door down to rescue
the toddler in the dog cage,” stated a police
arrest affidavit.
Officers also noted in their report that the
home had no heat (it was about 40 degrees
that day) and there was little food in the
house to eat.
Lewallen was booked into jail and charged
with felony child neglect. His bond has
been set at $50,000.

A 34-year-old Perry man was taken into custody after he replaced a baseball for another man’s head during an evening of
drinking.
Kaleb Amos Hermann was charged Nov. 30 with felony assault
and battery with a dangerous weapon because he struck the man,
who Hermann claimed was being verbally abusive.
Brian O’Dell of the Perry Police Department reported he was
called to an apartment in the 800 block of N. 6th around 1:00 that
morning in reference to an assault on a man who wasn’t wanted
at the apartment. When O’Dell arrived, he found a man holding
a bloody towel to the back of the victim’s head. When asked what
had happened, the victim stated he did not know. The man said
he didn’t see the attack, but heard the crack of a bat from another
room.
An ambulance was called and the victim was transported to the hospital. Several witnesses
stated they had all been drinking for several hours before. The victim had been causing
problems throughout the evening and was even kicked out of the apartment once. He was
let back in when he calmed down, but he quickly got rowdy again. Hermann said he had had
enough of the victim’s verbal abuse and went into a closet, retrieved the bat and conked the
victim on the head with it. Hermann told O’Dell he knew he had taken it too far.
Hermann was arrested and taken to the Noble County Jail and booked in on an assault
complaint.

Oklahoma City: Dennis Newton was on trial for the
armed robbery of a convenience store in a district court
when he fi red his lawyer. Assistant district attorney
Larry Jones said Newton, 47, was doing a fair job of defending himself until the store manager testifi ed that
Newton was the robber. Newton jumped up, accused
the woman of lying and then said, “I should of blown
your (expletive) head off .” The defendant paused, then
quickly added, “if I’d been the one that was there.” The
jury took 20 minutes to convict Newton and recommended a 30 year sentence.
A motorist was unknowingly caught in an automated speed trap that measured his speed using radar and
photographed his car. He later received in the mail a
ticket for $40 and a photo of his car. Instead of payment, he sent the police department a photograph of
$40. Several days later, he received a letter from the
police that contained another picture... of handcuff s.
The motorist promptly sent the money for the fi ne.
A woman was reporting her car as stolen, and mentioned that there was a car phone in it. The policeman
taking the report called the phone and told the guy
that answered that he had read the ad in the newspaper and wanted to buy the car. They arranged to meet,
and the thief was arrested.
Drug Possession Defendant Christopher Jansen,
on trial in March in Pontiac, Michigan, said he had
been searched without a warrant. The prosecutor said
the offi cer didn’t need a warrant because a “bulge” in
Christopher’s jacket could have been a gun. Nonsense,
said Christopher, who happened to be wearing the
same jacket that day in court. He handed it over so the
judge could see it. The judge discovered a packet of
cocaine in the pocket and laughed so hard he required
a fi ve minute recess to compose himself.
Detroit: R.C. Gaitlan, 21, walked up to two patrol
offi cers who were showing their squad car computer
equipment to children in a Detroit neighborhood.
When he asked how the system worked, the offi cer
asked him for identifi cation. Gaitlan gave them his
drivers license, they entered it into the computer, and
moments later they arrested Gaitlan because information on the screen showed Gaitlan was wanted for a
two-year-old armed robbery in St. Louis, Missouri.

A pair of former Town of Cashion employees face embezzlement charges following an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations inquiry into their spending habits.
OSBI agent Martin Solorzano investigated former Cashion
city clerk Stephanie Clark, 42, and former Cashion emergency service director Daniel Clark, 44. Both were arrested Nov.
20 after a warrant was issued Nov. 9, court records show.
Solorzano discovered they were buying personal items
with town funds as far back as 2007. The Cashion mayor at
the time said the police chief told him some Cashion Town
Hall accounts had questionable purchases. In an interview
at that time, Stephanie said it was “all a misunderstanding”
and that she would pay back the purchases Daniel made from
the Cashion PayPal account and the Walmart purchases she
made with town funds, according to the affidavit.
Stephanie wrote seven personal checks to reimburse the
town, which totaled nearly $3,000. The Clarks were fired
Nov. 30, 2009 following a short leave of absence, Solorzano said. The investigation started after the Clarks’ daughter
died in a traffic accident, according to the affidavit.
Throughout his investigation, Solorzano tried to interview
the Clarks but they refused, he said. Despite this, he was able
to prove they tax-exempt purchased 17 boxes of 223 type
ammunition at Walmart and did not reimburse the town for
it, court records show. The pair also bought a manual for an
AK-47 assault rifle, supplies for a Glock pistol and hundreds
of dollars in electronics, according to an information sheet.
The investigation further revealed the Clarks opened the
PayPal account without permission, according to the Cashion
Board of Trustees. A state auditor also provided a report indicating the Clarks spent more than they paid back to the town, according to the affidavit.
Moreover, Daniel reportedly submitted several false claims for ambulance service shifts
he did not complete, which Stephanie paid him.
The Clarks posted a $25,000 bond each Nov. 21. They will appear in court at 1:30 p.m.

Hennessey police officers arrested two local men after they tried to recycle stolen parts Nov. 19.
At around 11 a.m. that day, officer Bryon Blankenship received a call
from dispatch about a man who found stolen property of his at the Hennessey Recycle Center. The man said he saw a white and green pickup
truck driven by Robert Baird, 52, leaving his farm house the day before.
He initially thought the truck’s driver was the farm’s renter, he said.
However, a call to the renter revealed he was not in the area.
The man then realized two 1-cylinder engines were missing, as well as
a John Deere tractor hydraulic pump, a chrome plated shaft, aluminum
window frames, electric generators and a window air conditioner, among
other items.
The man called the recycling center to let them know about the stolen
property, only to be notified that a truck matching his description was
trying to sell his items.
Blankenship spoke with Baird, who said he turned in the property for
recycle but denied stealing it. He said he got the property out of his backyard. Baird’s passenger, Casey Barrow, 21, said he does scrap work with
Baird and scraped items in the area of the victim’s farm. Barrow said the pair normally gets
permission before taking items but that Baird was in charge of getting consent.
Baird and Barrow were charged Nov. 20 with knowingly concealing stolen property. Barrow and Baird posted $5,000 and $3,000 bonds, respectively. They will appear in court at 2
p.m. Dec. 17.

A Fairview woman with a long history of drug convictions was taken
into custody again Oct. 19 after a state trooper found meth and paraphernalia in her purse... which she claimed was not hers.
Pamela Pheatt, 47, was charged Nov. 14 with possession of drug paraphernalia, then on Nov. 16 with DUI-D, and finally on Nov. 20 with
possession of CDS AFC.
According to OHP Trooper JR Robertson’s probable cause affidavit,
he was patrolling westbound on Highway 412 near Orienta when he
noticed a pickup truck ahead of him make a U-turn and head back east
towards him. As the vehicle passed, he noticed the driver, Pheatt, was
not wearing her seatbelt. He activated his lights and turned his unit around.
During the stop, Pheatt acted very nervous and her pupils were dilated. When he asked her
the last time she had done meth, she replied about a year ago. Robertson didn’t believe her and
had her perform a sobriety test, of which she didn’t do well. He then placed her under arrest.
Robertson searched Pheatt’s purse and found several small baggies of meth, a glass pipe
with residue inside, a piece of straw, a small metal tube, a lighter, and a baggie with empty
baggies inside. He also found a small black camera case with a small digital scale and a metal
spoon inside it. Pheatt said another woman with her earlier put it in her purse.
Pheatt was transported to the Fairview Hospital where blood was drawn and then on to
the jail.
