ENID MEN ARRESTED FOR
SHOOTING OUT COLLEGE WINDOWS
Chandler Raymond Stanley, 18, and 20-yearold Elijah Ray Rummel, both of Enid, were arrested
after they allegedly admitted to shooting out windows at Northern Oklahoma College with a BB
gun.
Stanley told police he was just trying to get back
at the college – he said they charge students too
much money.
According to reports, an Enid officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South University shortly after 11 p.m. on November 12 to investigate reports of someone shooting at windows. When he
arrived at the college, he saw a tan SUV heading
eastbound in the 2500 block of East Maine. A man
who was standing on the north side of the road
waved his arms and pointed at the vehicle.
The officer stopped the SUV and made contact
with the driver, identified as Stanley. Stanley said
he was headed home after going to a convenience
store.
The man who was waving his arms told officers
that Stanley was responsible for the shooting. He
said he saw Stanley’s vehicle on the surveillance
footage when someone was shooting at the dorms.
Stanley continued to insist he had been at the store, until the officer told
him he had video evidence of him shooting at dorm windows. Stanley admitted that he and his brother, identified as Rummel, had fired at the windows with a BB gun. He said he and Rummel had also shot at windows
the night before.
Officers arrested the man and searched his vehicle. They found a black
AirSoft BB pistol and a container of BBs, according to reports.
Police found Rummel at a residence in the 3100 block of Forrest Ridge.
They told Rummel what Stanley had said, but the man denied having any
part in shooting out the windows.
An officer asked Rummel why Stanley would lie. He told the man they
had security video evidence of the crime. Rummel finally broke down and
admitted to being with Stanley. He said he only shot one window each
night – Stanley shot “a lot more.”
Stanley and Rummel managed to cause approximately $10,000 worth
of damage to the college campus.
Both men are being charged with malicious injury to property. Their
bonds were set at $10,000, and they are scheduled to appear in court on
December 11, 2017.

Q: My friend or loved one is afraid of being forced to stop using
drugs and what will happen. Do treatment centers force people to stop
taking drugs immediately?
A: People of all ages with substance use disorders live in fear of what will
happen if their drugs are taken away. You can ensure the person you care
about that professional treatment centers will keep him or her safe and as
comfortable as possible if a detoxification process is needed.
Treatment is always individualized based on the person’s needs. However, if
someone is using a drug upon admission to a treatment program, one of the
first things needed is to help safely remove the drugs from his or her system
(often referred to as “detox”). This is important, because drugs impair the
mental abilities needed to engage with and stay in treatment.
When patients first stop using drugs, they can experience a variety of
physical and emotional withdrawal symptoms, including depression, anxiety,
and other mood disorders; restlessness, and sleeplessness. Remind your
loved one that treatment centers are very experienced in helping patients get
through this process and keeping them safe during it. Depending on your
loved one’s situation, there may also be medications to reduce these symptoms, which make it easier to stop using.

GAME WARDENS SEARCH FOR
SUSPECTS IN TWO POACHING CASES
Woods County Game Warden Terry Swallow needs your help with two
separate investigations.
The first picture of the deer in the
wheat field occurred the morning of
Dec 2, 2017. It was located 11 miles
North and 3 miles east of Alva. The
doe was left to waste with no meat
removed. Warden Swallow reports
that both fawns were still standing
by her when he arrived. He believes
the doe was most likely killed around
daylight the morning before.
The second picture is from an illegal
disposal investigation that Terry believes occurred on November 25 or
26 near Freedom, OK. The location
was the intersection of Road 200 and
Jackson Road.
If you have any information about
either occurrence please contact Terry Swallow at (580) 430-5158. He would
appreciate your help!
We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep

question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.
Thank you and God Bless

THE DOO DOO DID HIM IN
Rodney Mark Hendrix, 49, is accused of
burglarizing a Denver pre-school and church
in August 2014 and was caught due to a
DNA test of a pair of poopy shorts left in a
bathroom at the crime scene.
A pre-school employee noticed the crapstained clothes and put them in a plastic bag
before the police arrived, according to the arrest affidavit.
The responding officer took the contaminated shorts into evidence, but it took over
13 months for them to worm their way
through the forensic labs, according to Lynn
Kimbrough, a spokesperson for the Denver
District Attorney.
“In Colorado, a DNA sample is taken for anyone who is arrested for a felony,” Kimbrough told HuffPost. “So when they ran the unknown sample, his
DNA was already in the system.”Kimbrough didn’t want to venture a guess as
to what the poopy shorts smelled like after more than a year.
Hendrix is accused of stealing two guitars from the church and numerous
electronic items from the school, with a combined total value of $4,072.
He was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, and
one count of identity theft, according to the arrest affidavit.
The suspect was already in custody in the Colorado Department of Corrections on unrelated theft and drug cases when the s*** hit the fan, according
to the Denver Post.

Authorities say an Indiana man who robbed a gas station made off with food, drinks,
and cigarettes. What he didn’t steal was gas, the AP notes. The Northwest Indiana
Times reports that a state trooper arrested 33-year-old Sean Harris after finding him
stranded by the side of a two-lane highway with his vehicle out of fuel. Police say the
South Bend-area man’s blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. Authorities say
Harris was arrested not long after he entered the LaCrosse gas station, implied he had
a gun, and took the items. Records show Harris is being held in LaPorte County Jail.
He made a preliminary appearance Friday in LaPorte County Circuit Court on a felony
robbery charge.
An 18-year-old Australian teen who escaped a Sydney police station holding cell
was recaptured by cops after she reached out to a TV station to ask them to use a
more flattering photo of her. Amy Sharp had fled the Surry Hills Corrective Services
Comples and was last spotted running down a street near the police station, according to 7 News Sydney. She was considered to be a “low risk” to the community and
had been arrested for “property offenses.” The station wrote in a media advisory about
her escape, along with mug shots Sharp apparently disapproved of. She appeared
glum looking and had a pink blanket flung around her shoulders in the police photos.
The first commenter to the story posted to the TV station’s Facebook page was none
other than Sharp herself who suggested an alternative photo of her.
“Can you use this photo, please and thank you,” Sharp wrote on the TV station’s
Facebook page along with a more polished picture of herself. “Yours Truly, Amy Sharp
xx.”
Cops were able to re-arrest Sharp in Sydney’s Wentworth Park, not far from where
she escaped, Sydney Morning Herald reported.
An Arkansas woman was arrested on drug charges after police found three syringes, among other contraband, hidden inside her vagina. Bentonville police stopped
Tracy McCoy at around 9 P.M. after receiving reports of a reckless driver, according to
a probable-cause affidavit. McCoy failed several field sobriety tests, but told police that
this was due to her prescription medications — and insisted that she had not been
drinking. She was transported to the Benton County Jail, where deputies got a shock
when they initially found two syringes and a folded $20 bill containing a white pill inside
her vagina. After McCoy said she was unable to produce a urine sample, deputies
found a third syringe inside of her, according to the affidavit.
McCoy reportedly admitted to police that she used the syringes to “shoot up” Dilaudid. She faces felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, furnishing
prohibited articles to a corrections facility, and second-degree forgery in addition to
misdemeanor drunk-driving charges.
A high school teacher in Bullhead City, Arizona smoked marijuana with students,
and sent nude photos and sexually explicit texts to one of them, police allege. Joseph
James Pagel, 33, a math teacher at Mohave High School, was arrested by Bullhead
City Police after an investigation that began earlier. A female student had come forward with explicitly sexual texts allegedly sent by Pagel, according to ABC15.com.
The text messages include a request to perform oral sex. Pagel also allegedly sent
two nude photos via text. Police said Pagel also received a partially nude photo of the
student, according to the Havasu News. Detectives interviewed several students and
said there was evidence the suspect had gotten high with students in his home. On
multiple occasions Pagel allegedly gave students pills that were believed to be Percocet while on school grounds, AZCentral reports. Pagel is facing charges of attempted
sexual conduct with a minor, furnishing harmful items to minors, electronic furnishing
of harmful items to minors, luring a minor and transfer of marijuana, according to Fox
5 Las Vegas. Pagel is currently on administrative pending resolution of the charges.

A WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING
A Sulphur man who pled guilty to selling someone else’s sheep in Enid earlier this year was at
his thieving ways again after he was caught with
a stolen vehicle at a livestock auction in Perry on
November 17.
Michael Jay Perschbacher, 57, was arrested
on multiple counts, including unauthorized use of
a motor vehicle. Texas and Southwestern Cattle
Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Brett
Wellden led the investigation that resulted in his arrest.
Wellden received information that a vehicle stolen
out of Lancaster, Texas, was present at a livestock
auction in Perry. Wellden notified Noble County Sheriff’s Deputy Cory S. Rink,
who was on patrol at the time. The pair confirmed that the vehicle, a white
Dodge pickup, was parked at the sale barn. They continued their surveillance
until Rink identified the vehicle leaving the parking lot pulling a large gooseneck trailer at approximately 2 a.m. the following morning.
Rink conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle near the intersection of 4th and
Fir Street. Once stopped, the driver, identified as Perschbacher, exited the
vehicle and met Rink at the rear of the trailer. Perschbacher was noticeably
insistent that his conversation with the deputy continue at the rear of the trailer
and away from the truck. He attempted to pass off the stolen truck as an older model that belonged to him, and presented an expired insurance card as
proof. Perschbacher’s explanations were unconvincing, and a call to dispatch
with the vehicle identification number (VIN) revealed the pickup was indeed
stolen. Perschbacher was placed under arrest and transported to the Noble
County Jail, where he was booked and held in lieu of $15,000 bond.
This latest incident is not Perschbacher’s first run-in with TSCRA Special
Rangers. In June he was arrested in Enid after absconding with 48 head of
sheep from a livestock auction.

OROZCO ARRESTED FOR
CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE
An Enid man was taken into custody after
he was found passed out in his home from
too much booze while caring for a 3-year-old
child.
Thomas Marroquin, 22, was charged August 28 with felony child neglect in Garfield
County District Court.
According to reports, a delivery driver from
Golden Chick found Marroquin passed out in
his living room floor and called police. When
an officer arrived, he tried to wake Marroquin,
but he was unresponsive. After shaking the
man’s arm, Marroquin finally awoke and sat
up. When the officer asked Marroquin why he
was passed out, Marroquin said he had been
drinking.
The officer could also smell the odor of marijuana in the house and Marroquin allegedly admitted to the officer that he had smoked some earlier in the
day. He led the officer to a roach and grinder on the dinning room table, which
was within reach of the child.
Marroquin’s girlfriend, who was at work, was called to come home for the
child and Marroquin was taken to the Garfield County jail.
Bond for Marroquin was set at $10,000 and he is scheduled to return to
court with an attorney on October 16 at 1:15 pm.
