Prosecutors for the State are seeking the death
penalty for a 51-year-old Enid man for allegedly
kidnapping, raping, and murdering a 2-year-old
girl earlier this year.
Michael Scott Geiger is being held in the Garfield County jail without bond.
According to reports, on April 28, Enid police
were dispatched to the Grand Prairie Motel due
to a child drowning in the motel pool at approximately 1:47 a.m. Officers removed the 2-year-old
girl from the pool. She later died at a local hospital.
Reports allege that Geiger raped and strangled
the victim. He then threw her into the pool from a
second-story balcony; she was still alive at that time.
Court documents revealed that the victim died due to drowning and lack
of oxygen from being strangled.
Geiger is being charged with murder in the first degree, first-degree rape,
and kidnapping. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear
in court on December 12, 2022.

We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.
Thank you and God Bless

Graham Price of South Wales ripped off the bank where he worked, but he wasn’t
completely duplicitous. He left a note in the safe: “Borrowed, seven million pounds”—
signed “Graham Price.”
A Good Samaritan noticed an elderly man being robbed, so he jumped in and
punched the thief. The thief was so upset, he called the police to complain.
When Stephan Crane broke into the Ravelli Republic (Montana) newsroom, he used
the computers to watch porn and check Facebook. Then Crane doused the offi ce with
a fi re extinguisher, took some candy, and left. It wasn’t diffi cult to fi nd him, however; the
police just followed the trail of stolen M&Ms that led to his sister’s place across the way.
When police in Vancouver, Canada, asked to search Jason Pauchay’s apartment
for drugs, he was not a suspect—in fact, they were looking for someone else. That all
changed when they got a look at how his name was listed on his cell phone: “Jason
Pauchay Drug Dealer.”
Two men decided a back-to-school event at an offi ce supply store would be the perfect time to do some shoplifting. After all, store clerks would be busy helping an infl ux of
shoppers. The sale happened to coincide with the annual “Shop with a Cop” day when
about 60 police offi cers show up to help children pick out school supplies.
Adan Juarez Ramirez had it all fi gured out—he could be a cop without having to take
the boring test. But he was arrested in Grapevine, Texas, after pulling over a driver in his
pickup truck, outfi tted with fl ashing lights. He even had an ID badge, which he’d made
by blacking out a restaurant gift card and etching in the word “POLICE.” However,
he’d kept the restaurant’s logo, a jalapeño pepper surrounded by the words “Chipotle
Mexican Grill.”
A Target store in Augusta, Georgia, agreed to take back a printer from a dissatisfi ed
customer. Then the clerk noticed some work the customer forgot to remove from the
machine: Counterfeit bills.
Two machete-wielding men barged into a Sydney, Australia, bar demanding money.
They didn’t know the club was hosting a bikers’ meeting at the time. One of the robbers
ended up in the hospital, the other hog-tied with electrical wire.
In Mesa, Arizona, a home break-in was foiled when the burglar jumped through the
bedroom window—and got trapped in a clothes hamper. Cops took it from there. (That
defi nitely wasn’t the kind of clean getaway he had planned.)

AROUND THE STATE
Gotta catch ‘em all!
For the past several months, the Tulsa
Police Department has been investigating a
fraudulent Pokémon Card Scam.
Detectives were contacted by five victims
across the United States. Victims in Hawaii,
Arizona, Texas, Colorado and Ohio all reported buying rare and high value Pokémon
cards from the suspect in Tulsa, identified as
Michael McCoy.
Each victim purchased the cards for thousands of dollars only to find out the cards
they received were fake.
During the investigation, Detectives partnered with a special prosecutor with the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office
who specializes in intellectual property and trademark infringement. Through
collaborations with Nintendo Corporation, a representative determined that
the Pokémon cards were in fact counterfeit. The cards that were sold by the
suspect had little to no value on their own, however were being sold as “rare
collectors cards” for $350 per card.
On November 1, Officers arrested Michael McCoy at a local Post Office as
he was in the process of mailing more counterfeit cards to another potential
victim.
McCoy is now charged with:
- Obtaining Merchandise by False Pretense over $1000 x 5
- Violation of Trademark Anti-Counterfeiting Act
McCoy also had warrants for his arrest out of Arkansas.
This is an arrest, not a conviction.

IT’S SCAM SEASON!
SCAM/Fraudulent phone calls are going around again. This fraudulent
scheme will claim to be employed by Major County Sheriff’s Office, which
they are not. They will say that they are an investigator and/or deputy. They
will then continue to coerce you into believing that you need to pay them
with bitcoin, after a QR code has been provided to the potential victim. If the
potential victim becomes defensive or asks questions, the perpetrator will
become more aggressive and reassure that a warrant will be granted. Please
use caution. No law enforcement will ever ask you to pay in bitcoin. To help
“legitimize” their attempt, they will provide a phone number to call back, in
hopes it will help sway your decision on “verifying.” If you have any questions
about fines or costs, please contact us directly on our 580-227-4471 office
number.
If you get a strange call from the government, hang up. If you want to
check it out, visit the official website for contact information. Government employees will not call out of the blue to demand money or account information
Do not give out or confirm your personal or financial information to someone who calls.
Do not wire money or send money using a QR code (or reloadable card),
even if the phone number looks legit.
If you feel pressured to act immediately, hang up. It is a sign of a scam.

An Alva man who was originally arrested in August for drug charges is facing another charge after labs from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation came back positive for fentanyl.
According to reports, Michael Lawrence Baldwin, 62, was charged with maintaining a place for
keeping or selling controlled substances and two
counts of trafficking in illegal drugs (methamphetamine) on August 30.
On October 19, an Alva police officer received
the positive lab results from the OSBI. Some blue
pills and four grams of a dark paste substance
had been seized from Baldwin’s residence. The
24 blue pills and paste tested positive for fentanyl.
Another bag containing 11 white pills was also seized from the man’s
residence. Those pills tested positive for oxycodone.
Items that field tested positive for methamphetamine positively tested
for the drug according to OSBI’s lab results.
Baldwin is being charged with aggravated trafficking in illegal drugs. He
is being held without bond.

DEATH AND DECEPTION
Hennessey man Chen Wu, 45, is facing four
counts of first-degree murder for allegedly killing four employees at a marijuana farm near
Lacey.
According to reports, Wu went to the farm
and demanded that the other employees return his $300,000 that he had invested in the
operation.
When the employees couldn’t hand over
the money immediately, Wu allegedly started
shooting.
Another employee told police officers that he
was there when the shooting happened. He
said Wu walked into a garage and shot a man in the leg. He also held multiple people inside the garage at gunpoint. He told them that he wanted his
money within the next half hour, or he was going to kill everyone.
Wu had worked at the farm about a year before the incident, according
to another employee.
The man killed four and injured one in the shooting. Wu and the victims
were Chinese citizens.
The 10-acre pot farm was operating under an illegally obtained license.
The license was to grow marijuana for medical purposes.
The application for the license stated that the operation was 75% owned
by an Oklahoma resident. That’s required by Oklahoma state law.
Kevin Pham applied for the license. The ghost owner of the operation
told police that he didn’t know what was going on at the farm, and just
received payments from Pham.
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents conducted a search warrant at
Pham’s Oklahoma City office. They found four guns, a white crystal substance that tested positive for meth, 10 pounds of processed weed, and
more than 100 packages of THC gummies.
Formal charges, court date, and bond information for Pham were unavailable at the time of publication.
Wu was located and arrested in Florida on November 22. He was
booked into the Kingfisher County Jail on December 1.
Wu is being charged with four counts of murder in the first degree with
deliberate intent and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on December
27, 2023.
