SHAKE YOUR PEACHES
It’s gonna be a while until Anthony Roman
from Bonaire, Georgia, sets his feet back the
in the Peach State. The 58-year-old was arrested for multiple crimes in Garfield County on
December 26, including trying to hit a police
officer with his vehicle.
Reports state a state trooper was headed
eastbound on U.S. 412 east of Ringwood
when he saw a white vehicle swerving all over
the road around 10:30 p.m. The car was traveling 5 to 10 mph under the speed limit. At one
point, the car went 45 mph in a 70 mph zone.
The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke
to the driver, identified as Roman. The trooper noticed Roman was wearing women’s clothes, complete with fake breasts, lace leggings and a
stimulation ring used for masturbation.
Roman said he was driving erratically because he saw the trooper driving behind him.
When the trooper asked the man to step out of the car, Roman instead
stepped on the gas, initiating a pursuit. He sped off going 90 mph through
a 35 mph zone in Lahoma.
Enid officers joined the chase. One of the officers set up some stop
sticks near Garriott and Westbrow. As Roman’s vehicle approached the
area, Roman drove right toward the officer. The officer was able to get out
of the way. Roman swerved into a ditch, taking down a mailbox and speed
limit sign.
The man then jumped out of his car and took off running, tossing a
green bag to the ground. An officer caught up to the man and placed him
under arrest. The green bag tested positive for methamphetamine.
In the man’s vehicle, officers found more meth, a glass pipe with a white
residue, and a green leafy substance that smelled like marijuana. They also
found three containers filled with weed that was labeled purchased from
Colorado and another pipe that looked like a cigarette. A duffel bag in the
front floorboard contained $8,700 in cash.
Due to some maps found in the car, it appeared the man was taking the
weed from Colorado back to Georgia.
A large amount of pornographic materials and some sex toys were also
in the car.
Roman is being charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, eluding
police officer, running a roadblock, possession of controlled dangerous
substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

A former Garfield County Detention Facility jailer
is facing felony charges for his inappropriate activity
with a female inmate while employed at the facility.
Samuel Saeger, 64, was charged December 21,
2018, with sexual battery and indecent exposure, in
Garfield County District Court.
Court records show the date of offense was in
May 2018.
On December 6, a female inmate who was being
transferred from the Garfield County facility passed
a small note to a jailer. The jailer said the note described sexual activities that allegedly happened
between the inmate and Saeger while she was incarcerated at the jail.
The jailer turned the note over to the sheriff’s office, who investigated the
accusations made by the inmate. When deputies questioned the man about
the note, Saeger reportedly confessed to having inappropriate contact with
the inmate.
Saeger was terminated from his position at the jail and arrested.
Saeger was released on a $50,000 bond.
Jailer fired and charged for sexual

just snapchat banter
A 27-year-old Alva man found himself behind bars after he allegedly used the social
media app Snapchat to ask underage boys
for sexually explicit photos.
According to reports, the Woods County Sheriff’s Office was advised that Dalton
Wayne Mahoney was using Snapchat to solicit explicit images from underage boys in late
October 2018. Authorities obtained a search
warrant for the man’s social media account.
At the time of the search warrant, Mahoney
worked for the city of Alva Emergency Medical Services and was also a part-time youth
soccer league referee.
On December 1, investigators looked
through the man’s Snapchat records. The records revealed that Mahoney was asking minor children for sexually explicit
snaps. Some of the conversations involved Mahoney talking about sexual
acts and asking them to send him nude pictures.
When authorities interviewed the man on December 5, he admitted to
sending sexually explicit stuff to underage children through Snapchat. He
identified several pictures he sent to the victims, including explicit pictures
of women and some photos of men’s genitals. Despite what his Snapchat
records revealed, he told police that he never received any underage porn
because he didn’t want any. He said he was just having “guy to guy” chats
with the victims.
Mahoney also admitted that he screwed up, and he didn’t mean anything
by what he did.
Mahoney is being charge with preparing/distributing/exhibiting obscene
material and violation of OK statute via computer. His bond was set at $5,000,
and he was scheduled to appear in court on January 8, 2019.

OSBI Investigates Officer-Involved
Shooting in Nob le County
A Kansas man who robbed a convenience
store in Wichita was shot and killed by Noble
County law enforcement officers.
According to OSBI, on Sunday evening,
December 9, 2018, a man later identified as
Shane Adair Wentling, 39, attempted to purchase beer from a store in Wichita, Kansas.
The clerk refused to sell Wentling the beer
and Wentling brandished a firearm, left cash,
and left the store.
Wentling later shot a vehicle as he was
driving on a Kansas highway. Kansas authorities issued a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) for
Wentling’s vehicle.
Wentling drove into Oklahoma on I-35 and
brandished a firearm to another driver. Oklahoma law enforcement received
the BOLO and the report from the Oklahoma driver.
Around midnight, Wentling’s vehicle was spotted and a pursuit ensued by
Perry Police Department and Noble County Sheriff’s Office. A tactical vehicle
intervention was performed on Wentling’s vehicle, stopping the vehicle. Wentling brandished a firearm to law enforcement and was shot and pronounced
dead at the scene.
OSBI agents processed the crime scene, conducted interviews, and followed leads. Once completed, they will present their comprehensive report to
the Noble County District Attorney’s Office.

This trophy buck was stolen
from sportsmen and Game Warden Phillip Cottrill, Major County,
needs your help finding the poachers responsible!
This is what we know:
There were at least 4 suspects
who participated in the event. The
driver stayed in the truck while 3
individuals got out of truck to retrieve deer. The poachers were
spooked by the guy legally hunting on the farm. The suspects then
fled and ran on foot.
The suspects’ vehicle is believed to be a dark colored pick up with a flatbed,
cake box, and is probably a diesel.
This poaching occurred the evening of November 28, 2018. The buck was shot
from the road. The location was south east of Ames, Oklahoma near the Major/
Garfield county line.
If you have any information about this case please contact Phillip at 580-227-
0393 or you can call Operation Game Thief at 1-800-522-8039. You can remain
anonymous and receive up to $500 from ODWC. Oftentimes in cases like this other
organizations will chip in or match the reward making it greater.

18 | JANUARY 2019 KINGFISHER COUNTY Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty
A woman in Florida got so excited after stealing a family’s Apple technology that she decided to take some selfies of her own. She had stolen
an iPad and an iPod Touch out of their car while they were visiting one of
Florida’s regional parks. Apparently not realizing that photos taken on an
Apple device will show up on the computer, her selfies surfaced on the
family’s iCloud account two weeks later. All of these pictures are able to
be located geographically.
A middle-aged man was stopped by police as he rode his horse down
the streets of Colorado. Why? He was seen hitting the horse, but told the
police there was a fly on his head. Further investigation revealed that he
had a small gun, a pug (yes, you understood correctly), and beer cans in
tow. Not surprisingly, he failed an intoxication test and was charged with
animal cruelty, possession of weapons, and drunk riding.
Have you ever accidentally gotten high? Like, you thought it was a
normal brownie, or normal mushrooms. But nope, turns out you’re absolutely tripping. Good luck explaining that one to the police. The only
thing less convincing than that is…”accidentally” growing marijuana on
your property. This is exactly what happened to a 73 year old man, who
claims he found the seeds in a random box and decided to plant them.
Lo and behold, up grows some weed. The man showed no sign of being
a pot smoker, yet paid the $200 dollar ticket without argument anyway.
Hopefully he’ll stay away from mystery seeds from now on.
How impatient do you get when waiting for your food to microwave?
Worse yet is when you finally think it’s done, but the plate is a burning
fire disc from the sun’s core and your food could have been found in the
fur of a frozen wooly mammoth from the arctic. How mad would you
get? Hopefully not angry enough to use the microwave as a weapon,
like a guy in St. Louis. A 43 year old man and a 36 year old man got into
a heated argument over “personal matters”, resulting in a knife being
pulled and a microwave oven being thrown. Both were admitted to the
hospital with serious forehead wounds. I don’t remember these being
part of the Easy Mac directions???
We’ve all seen those movies about crazy people who believe demons
live in their house, right? Terrifying stuff, but the demons are probably
more scared of you than you are of them. Just…grab a big shoe. And kill
all the flies so they have nothing to eat. Oh. Maybe I’m thinking of something else, something scarier. One guy in Arizona was so freaked out he
almost burnt down the house. With his roommates still home, he started
a fire in his bedroom closet where he believed they were hiding. He used
paint thinner, and is reported to have been reciting Bible verses. He said
he had planned to tell the police but forgot, and he was admitted to the
hospital with burns on his feet. The important thing is, the house is now
100% demon free.

Fairview man facing
child abuse charges
A 31-year-old Fairview man admitted to police
that he probably hit a child a little too hard after
the child had severe bruising on his backside.
Clarence Daniel Nance refused to apologize,
however.
According to reports, a woman told a Fairview
police officer she was worried about some local
children. She showed the officer a picture of a
10-year-old boy who had severe bruising on his
buttocks.
Another woman told police the boy had asked
her to look at the injury. She said the boy told her
that Nance had spanked him.
The woman texted Nance about the bruising,
and he pretty much told her to think what she
wanted to because she didn’t know what the kids had done. The 10-yearold later told the woman Nance spanked him again after the texts were exchanged. He also said Nance spanked another boy at the residence, but that
child didn’t have any marks.
The boy explained that Nance spanked him with a belt whenever he did
“dumb stuff.” He told the woman he had tried to start a fire in the basement
and used a hatchet to chop a battery.
The officer spoke to Nance, who admitted he “busted” the victim around
December 25, because the child had been starting fires and breaking stuff in
the house. He said he also “busted” both children on December 31. Nance
said he made the 10-year-old pull down his pants before whipping him with
a brown leather belt.
Nance refused to apologize for hitting the children, even though he admitted that he might have hit the victim a little harder than he should have.
When the officer showed the man a photo of the bruising on the boy, Nance
said there was no excuse for the bruises. He refused to provide police with a
written statement.
Nance is being charged with felony child abuse. He is scheduled to appear
in court on January 30, 2019.
