Garfield County deputies have arrested a possible
suspect in connection with a string of auto burglaries in
the Drummond area.
David Rigsby, 39, was charged May 31 with possession of a credit card belonging to another in Garfield
County District Court.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s office, deputies investigated several car burglaries in and around
Drummond. On May 17, after more reported incidents
and based on evidence, deputies executed a search
warrant in the West Wind trailer park located in Drummond.
Charee Page was arrested at the residence for an outstanding warrant and
Knowingly Concealing Stolen property.
A recent break-in led to Rigsby attempting to use a stolen debit card at the
Bank of Kremlin in Drummond. Deputy Dariel Momsen received a still photograph of the subject and positively identified Rigsby. In the course of the search,
deputies located several items dating back to April car burglaries.
Rigsby was arrested May 23 and bond was set at $10,000 and he is scheduled to return to court on July 10.

A man in Iowa City, Iowa, is accused of posing as a Victoria’s Secret representative
in order to get women to send him underwear photos.
Police said Sean Boies, 29, used a phishing scheme to get IDs and passwords of
University of Iowa students. He then used that information to create a profile on Qualtrics, a web-based survey platform that he used to create surveys he would send to
female students, the Iowa Press-Citizen reports.
In one survey, Boies claimed to represent the Victoria’s Secret lingerie company and
allegedly asked interested women to upload pictures of themselves in their bras and
panties in hopes of being flown to Miami for a photo shoot.
Two women submitted photos, the Associated Press reports.
Police said Boies admitted that he created the survey specifically to receive pictures
of women.
He also admitted sending a second survey promising a $25 Victoria’s Secret gift
card in return for information, according to KCRG.com
Boies allegedly admitted to police he never sent those promised cards.
Boies is charged with two counts of identity theft under $1,000 and unauthorized
computer access, KWWL.com reports. He was booked and released at the Johnson
County Jail.
A Florida police officer arrested on suspicion of purchasing cocaine reportedly told
arresting officers, “The crack is not for me, it’s for my wife.”
Christopher Heredia, 25, of the Sweetwater Police Department, was arrested after
Miami-Dade cops witnessed him allegedly purchasing drugs in a Walgreens parking
lot. When the suspect drove off, officers pulled him over, WSVN TV reports.
During the traffic stop, Heredia told officers he was an off-duty “P.O.” who had been
relieved.
The police report noted that Heredia was stuttering and appeared nervous with
trembling hands, according to NBC Miami.
A subsequent search revealed a baggie of crack cocaine on the driver’s side floorboard as well as three Xanax pills.
That’s when Heredia said the drugs were actually for his wife, the station reports.
Heredia was charged with purchasing cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Local10.com reports.
Heredia was released on $13,500 bond. The Sweetwater Police Department did not
release why he was relieved of duty at the time of his arrest, telling NBC Miami that as
a former officer, his personal information is protected.
The Department did release a statement saying Heredia has been “relieved of duty
pending the outcome of an internal investigation.”
Police also arrested Tina Schofield, 37, who allegedly sold Heredia the drugs.
Talk about being all up in someone’s grill. A man in Dayton, Ohio, is facing indecency
charges after a witness reported seeing him attempt to have sex with the front grill of
a van parked on the street.
Officers responding to a call found the suspect, 35-year-old Michael Henson, wearing only a pair of black shorts and black shoes, according to NBC4i.com, which cited
a police report.
Henson was taken into custody and put in the back of a squad car while officers
spoke to a female witness.
She said she saw Henson pull down his shorts and then put his genitals into the
front grill of a red van parked on the side of the road, according to WDTN.com.
When the suspect passed out in the front yard near the van, the woman called
police.
Henson woke up and was walking before police came to the scene, according to
the Dayton Daily News.
Officers who questioned him said he appeared to be intoxicated.
Police contacted the owner of the van, who allegedly said he was unaware of any
incident.
Henson was booked on public indecency charges and taken to the Montgomery
County Jail.

Alva man David Tyler Ingraham, 23, was arrested for drugs and paraphernalia after police
found him riding around with a wanted man on
May 15.
According to the affidavit, a Woods County
deputy was advised that Ingraham and another
man were driving in the area of County Road
420 and Jefferson Road at approximately 4:30
p.m.
Knowing that the other man had an active
felony warrant for his arrest, deputies went to
the area to locate the duo.
Around 4:58 p.m, they saw Ingraham’s vehicle approach the four-way intersection of CR
420 and Jefferson in a reckless manner. The
driver didn’t stop; he accelerated and blew threw the intersection.
A deputy turned on his lights and stopped the vehicle approximately ¼
mile north of the intersection. Ingraham was sitting in the driver’s seat -- his
wanted friend was in the front passenger seat.
Officers ordered the men out of the vehicle and placed them in handcuffs.
The man with the warrant told police he had a glass pipe in a bag inside the
vehicle. When a deputy went to retrieve it, he noticed the odor of marijuana
coming from inside the car. He searched the vehicle and found a baggy
containing marijuana residue, two bags containing marijuana, and a metal
reducer and small screwdriver, both with residue from marijuana.
The deputy searched Ingraham and found a metal reducer identical to the
one found in the vehicle.
Ingraham denied that any of the drugs or paraphernalia found was his. He
was placed under arrest and transported to jail, along with his friend who
was arrested for the active felony warrant.
Ingraham is being charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at
$2,500, and he is scheduled to appear in court on June 13, 2017.

been recaptured.
According to the Fairview Police Dept.,
authorities located and apprehended Brandon Stealer, 37, after he escaped from the

For youths, the internet often serves as a positive and powerful arena for
socializing and learning. However, the use of the internet also brings about
risks to their safety, including the dangers of sexual solicitation, online harassment and bullying, and exposure to illegal content. By discussing responsible socializing and communicating, parents -- regardless of whether
they are technologically savvy -- can help their kids make better decisions
about online behavior.
Efforts to address cybercrime include activities associated with protecting networks and information, detecting criminal activity, investigating
crime, and prosecuting criminals, . The Administration has taken significant steps to better protect America against cyber threats and has developed a pragmatic and focused cyber-security legislative proposal for
Congress to consider. The proposed legislation is focused on improving
cyber-security for the American people, our Nation’s critical infrastructure,
and the Federal Government’s own networks and computers.

A McAlester man was taken into custody May
30, accused of sex crimes in Noble County.
Micheal Williamson, 27, was charged with felony
lewd molestation in Noble County District Court.
According to court records, on May 22, an arrest warrant was issued for Williamson. He was
taken into custody May 30. He appeared in court
that day with his attorney, Ronald Jones, of Enid.
Jones moved for a bond reduction, which was objected by the state, but Associate District Judge
Nikki Leach agreed with Jones and reduced Williamson’s bond to $50,000.
Leach is also the judge hearing the Perry schools
sexual abuse case.

Summer time can be a time of fun, whether
its at the lake, pool, or any of the numerous other activities to be found throughout this great
state, but it is also a time of serious heat. With
temperatures reaching into the 100’s many
times already, and more to come, I thought I
would touch on the way heat can affect your
traveling plans, and some tips to help you beat
the heat!
First, be prepared. Cars suffer in the heat just like we do. If and when
they break down, you’ll want to be ready. Be familiar with your emergency
equipment in your vehicle. This means learn where your jack, spare tire,
and tire tool are. Learn how to use them. Figuring that out on the side
of the road at 102 degrees is no fun at all. The owner’s manual of your
vehicle has a section on roadside emergencies that can help you figure
out where the emergency equipment is stored, and tips on how to use it.
Learn the steps to change a flat! Although we will be happy to help you
if you are broken down, we aren’t always close, and may not be able to
get to you for a long period of time. If you know how to get yourself out of
a roadside emergency, that’s less time you’ll spend in the heat.
Take lots of water with you if you are going on a trip, especially if it’s a
long one. Have a cell phone with you so you can call for help if you need
it. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, so you can give the person you call for help an accurate location for where you are. Also, if you
can get your car to a place of shade, do so.
Temperatures can be up to 20 degrees cooler in a place of shade such
as an overpass or large trees.
Lastly, make sure your car is maintained properly. Ever notice how many
pieces of tires you see on the roadway during the summer? The heat is
hard on tires, so make sure they are properly inflated and have good tread.
If your tread is worn, get them replaced.
The pavement those tires are rolling on is even hotter than the thermometer is showing! Visually check your belts, and make sure all your fluids are
filled up. That ounce of prevention can keep you from being stuck on the
side of the road in 100 plus temperatures.
Preparing for roadside emergencies in the heat is just as important as it
is in the winter, but it seems like we just don’t prepare the same for it. Just
a few minutes of learning how to change a flat, packing in a case of water,
and being aware of your surroundings can keep a bad day from being a
