girlz n the hood
A group of girls aged 15-19 were arrested on
February 27 after they allegedly burglarized vehicles and used the stolen credit cards to buy stuff
at a local Walmart.
According to the Enid Police Department, multiple vehicles were burglarized during the overnight
hours of February 26. Victims reported that things
were missing from their cars, including handguns
and credit cards. The suspects used the credit
cards to buy items at Walmart.
Fortunately, surveillance cameras caught the
suspects on camera burglarizing the cars and
making purchases at the store. The police department shared images from the security footage on
Facebook. Some tips led them to the Knights Inn,
located in the 2900 block of S. Van Buren.
On the way to the motel, officers saw the suspects in a vehicle that had been reported stolen
out of Arkansas. Officers tried to stop the vehicle,
but the driver refused to pull over, and the chase
was on!
At one point during the pursuit, the suspect vehicle hit another car it tried to pass, but luckily, no
one was hurt. The suspects kept going until the
driver, a 16-year-old girl, lost control, hitting a concrete foundation and running into several parked
cars in the 1600 block of S. Van Buren.
The driver is facing charges of eluding, leaving the scene of an accident,
driving without a license, burglary, fraud and knowingly concealing stolen
property.
A 17-year-old passenger is facing complaints on burglary and fraud.
Several other females allegedly involved in the burglary were arrested at
the Knights Inn.
A 15-year-old and 17-year-old were arrested for burglary and knowingly
concealing stolen property.
Two 19-year-olds, Marje Langbata and Kristian Bithen, were also arrested.
Bithen had an outstanding warrant from Arkansas.
While searching the suspect vehicle and motel room, officers found
some stolen property. Some of the stolen items were from the Enid burglaries, but some other stuff located was tied to crimes reported in northwestern Arkansas.
Both Langbata and Bithen are being charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree, contributing to delinquency of a child, knowingly
receiving/concealing stolen property and two counts of authorized use of
a credit card. Their bonds were set at $20,000, and they are scheduled to
appear in court on March 30, 2020.

March is National Youth Violence
Prevention Month
The National Association of Students
Against Violence Everywhere is a nonprofit
aiming to provide safer environments for
our youth. Its mission is to decrease the
potential for violence in our schools and
communities by promoting meaningful student involvement, education and service
opportunities.
SAVE’s Vision: Schools and communities will be safer and more secure, free of
fear and conducive to learning as a result of
students being actively involved in meaningful violence prevention efforts.
How It Got Started: SAVE was started by students in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989 after the tragic death of a classmate who was trying to break up a
fight at an off-campus party. A group of students who did not want this death
to be “just another statistic” took action and created a violence prevention
program.
Chapters: SAVE has evolved into a national association with chapters in
elementary, middle and high schools as well as at colleges and community organizations across the country. Today, there are more than 200,000 students
involved nationwide.
Activities: Student members take the lead in planning chapter activities by
using the three SAVE Essential Elements: conducting crime prevention activities, conducting conflict management activities and providing meaningful service through projects in schools and communities. SAVE chapters also plan
safety rallies and safety awareness campaigns, engage in peer mentoring to
younger students, and conduct fun and educational meetings.

One of three people arrested for allegedly selling PCP at an apartment complex in
Oklahoma City was posing as a police officer at the time of her arrest.
According to KFOR-TV, when officers with the Oklahoma City police department
arrived at the scene, the woman—identified as Shirlene Nelson—told them she was a
police officer.
She was reportedly wearing a pink duty belt with pepper spray, two knives, handcuffs, brass knuckles and a “special police brass badge.”
Nelson was arrested for impersonating an officer and for drug possession.
The other two suspects—identified as Edward LittleJohn and Bobby Hooks—were
also arrested.
A game warden in Texas stopped a pair of men fishing without valid fishing licenses.
One of the men didn’t have proper identification.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the man without the ID knew he had active
warrants for his arrest and in an effort to deceive the law enforcement officer gave the
warden the name of a friend. As it happens, the man whose name was given to the
warden also had warrants for his arrest, so despite his attempt to dupe the warden, the
man was taken into custody anyway.
While he was being booked into jail under the false name, the man admitted to his lie
and booked under his real name with the additional charge of lying to a police officer.
A 20-year-old college student booked into a Washington Sate jail for underage drinking was seen on surveillance video attempting to steal packages from beneath the
Christmas tree at the Pullman (WA) Police Department as he left the building.
According to Fox News, he soon discovered that one box was empty, one was a
tissue box, and the third contained women’s hygiene products. He quickly discarded
the absconded presents and made his presence scarce.
The Kitty Hawk (NC) Police Department posted an image of the front pocket of a
pair of denim jeans on its Facebook page accompanied by some “advice” for citizens
about their pants.
The post read, “We at the Kitty Hawk Police Department understand that some of
North Carolina’s laws may be confusing. We also understand that educating you about
the laws when you are being placed into handcuffs may be a little untimely. We thought
if we could avoid more paperwork, and you could avoid going to jail, we both win. So,
we have decided to post periodic educational messages on how to avoid going to jail.
Here is the first of many to come.”
The post continued, “Prior to wearing someone else’s pants, please remove all
drugs, drug paraphernalia, stolen goods or any other illegal items the ‘owner’ of the
pants may have left behind. ‘These are not my pants’ is not an affirmative defense. Glad
we could help.”
The post concluded, “Disclaimer: We are not attorneys nor non-attorney spokespersons and this message is not intended as legal advice. Please speak to an actual
attorney prior to wearing someone else’s pants with drug filled pockets.”
A Florida couple arrested for DUI reportedly attempted to have sexual intercourse in
the back of the patrol vehicle about to transport them to jail.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, officials said the couple—identified as 35-year-old
Megan Lynn Mondanaro and 31-year-old Seth Aaron Thomas—were seen attempting
to disrobe in the back of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office squad car. They had been
riding bicycles at night without running lights and reportedly came in close contact with
a motorist when a deputy spotted and stopped them.
Mondanaro was charged with DUI, exposing sex organs, unnatural and lascivious
act and resisting without violence.
Thomas was charged with threat against a public official, unnatural and lascivious
act, exposing sex organs and DUI.
Both Thomas and Mondanaro reportedly have lengthy criminal records.

it’s all good
Ponca City man Dustin Walter Buzzy Good,
23, is being charged with assault after he allegedly attacked a Perry police officer during an
arrest on February 7.
According to the affidavit, some Perry officers were on patrol in the 500 block of Fir when
they saw good walking between the building
at Budget Inn around 5:18 p.m. At one point,
Good looked at the officer and quickly started
walking away. Due to recent reports of breakins in the area, the officers decided to have a
chat with Good. They drove toward the man.
Good went up to the door of a home in the
600 block of Fir and started knocking. When officers pulled up to the location, Good took off running. Officers grabbed the man, but he resisted and
kept yelling at them not to rape him.
As the officers were struggling to bring Good under control, the owner
of the house looked to see who knocked on his door. Good saw the man
and started screaming, “Dad!”
The homeowner told police he had never seen the man before.
Good was eventually placed in handcuffs.
The officer smelled alcohol and noticed the man seemed to have trouble
making coherent sentences. He asked Good if he had been drinking. The
man responded, “Not a lot.”
When the officer asked Good why he ran, he replied, “I was knocking on
my dad’s door. I thought you were trying to rape me.”
During the investigation, officers found a crystal-like substance that later
tested positive for meth.
At one point, Good tried to run away again. The officer grabbed him and
took him to the ground. In response, Good grabbed the officer’s crotch
and started squeezing. Good refused to let go, but the officer was eventually able to pry his manhood out of the suspect’s hands.
When they arrived at the jail, Good gave the jailer multiple names. He
was later transported to the hospital after complaining of neck and back
pain.
When an officer informed him of his charges, he denied assaulting the
officer and claimed that he was just drunk.
Good is being charged with assault and/or battery upon an officer. His
bond was set at $500, and he was scheduled to appear in court on March
4, 2020. According to reports, he missed his court date due to being
locked up in Kay County Jail, and an outstanding warrant for his arrest has
been issued.

Charges filed against Nurse who Traded Xanax
Prescription for Meth to Undercover Officer
Attorney General Mike Hunter has charged
a nurse practitioner and a member of her office staff for allegedly trading prescriptions for
methamphetamine.
During an undercover investigation, nurse
practitioner and owner of Advanced Health
and Wellness, Patsy Wiseman, 47, prescribed
Xanax to the undercover officer, who disclosed
they had no medical need for the drug. The officer also told Wiseman they planned to sell the
prescription medication.
After Wiseman electronically sent the prescription to the pharmacy, she directed the officer to coordinate with her receptionist, Amanda Emhoolah, 41, who would receive the meth.
The investigation revealed this practice was
common for Wiseman and Emhoolah.
Attorney General Hunter said for a drug dealer to hold herself out as a health care provider
is a disgrace to the medical community.
“The vast majority of nurses, doctors and
others in the health care community are doing
exactly what they need in order to take care of
their patients,” Attorney General Hunter said.
“Unfortunately, there are some who turn to
criminal transactions that pose a real threat to
society. It is our job as law enforcement officials
to hold the outliers accountable for these actions to ensure the safety and
security of Oklahomans. I appreciate the Tulsa Police Department and the
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics for their work on this case and bringing it
to the attention of my office.”
According to court documents, a search warrant was issued for the office location where authorities found various drug paraphernalia, including
needles containing meth. A subsequent search of Wiseman’s home found
more paraphernalia, including meth and medication prescribed by Wiseman to alleged patients.
The duo have been charged with eight counts of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance not in course of legitimate business, conspiracy and failure to guard against diversion, and other crimes for their
alleged illicit dealings.
If convicted, both defendants face prison time, fines and fees.

(580) 227-4472
A Ringwood man is being charged with murder after his
two-month-old baby died at an Oklahoma City hospital
and medical staff discovered signs of abuse.
Dustin Wayne Lamm, 23, was charged February 25
with murder in the first degree- child abuse, in Major
County District Court.
According to a press release by the Oklahoma State
Bureau of Investigation, the Major County Sheriff’s Office requested the OSBI assist with an investigation after a two-month-old baby died. On February 21, 2020,
emergency medical personnel and law enforcement were
called to the 11800 block of State Highway 58 in Ringwood. Responders were
told the baby aspirated while being fed by the child’s biological father. The
baby was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Enid and then transferred to OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
While being cared for at OU Children’s Hospital, doctors discovered the
baby had multiple injuries to the head and torso. The baby died on February
