AROUND THE NATION
What a crappy thing to do!
A teenager was allegedly toppled over a porta potty at a New Hampshire park May 8 — covering the
mother and 4-year-old daughter inside with filth, according to police.
Aiden Studer, 18, is accused of pushing the john
from behind so that it landed on its door, trapping the
pair inside the disgusting box.
“The pair reported being covered in feces and
bodily fluids,” Manchester police said.
Witnesses told police that Studer had been arguing with the mother near the porta-potty at Derryfield Park until she went inside to assist her daughter. That’s when the
vengeful teen allegedly struck. They weren’t inside for long, however — bystanders
rushed to free the mother-daughter pair.
Studer allegedly ended his tirade by throwing an unknown object at officers who
arrived on the scene. It does not appear as though the teenager knew the mother
before striking.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal restraint and criminal
mischief, as well as simple assault on a police officer.

A Chickasha man who failed to show up for a
court appearance for a misdemeanor charge is
being held in jail on an unusually high bond of
$500,000. Why? He signed a court document
with an expletive. 31-year old Joshua Nathaniel
Ashley was arrested Sunday because he failed
to show up for a hearing in March. The hearing was scheduled after Ashley was arrested in
December for driving without a license. In his court appearance Monday he
signed “f--- you” on the court minute document and Special District Judge
Gina Lowe set his bond at a half-million dollars.

LAMB CHOP
A 36-year-old Springer man who had been
wanted for rape since 2022 was finally arrested
and booked into jail on April 24.
According to reports, Fidencio Airam De La
Rosa ran away to Mexico after a warrant was
issued for his arrest back in 2022.
He couldn’t run forever, though. Authorities
found the man, and he was extradited back to
Carter County.
Rosa is being charged with rape in the second degree and lewd or indecent
acts to a child under 16. His bond was set at $1M, and he is scheduled to
appear in court on June 6, 2024.

DRUG DEALING FOR DUMMIES:
CHAPTER 2
In This Chapter You Will Learn:
• Rule Number One: Don’t Be A Drug Dealer
• Rule Number Two: No Matter What, Don’t Be A Drug Dealer
• Rule Number Three: If You Are Gonna Transport Drugs Don’t Do Stupid &#!t!!
• Rule Number Four: K-9’s Can Smell Your Dope
To truly understand the importance of the four basic rules listed above, let’s look at what happened last year
to Anthony Riposta and Aaron Esposito, who not only forgot basic rule number one, but apparently didn’t follow
any of the basic rules and as such, found themselves in jail with the other drug dealers that couldn’t follow the
rules either!!
Not only did they forget the importance of not being a scumbag drug dealer, but they also forgot that if you are
going to be a drug dealer, you better not do dumb stuff like making an illegal turn. As is often the case when you
violate these simple, but yet important rules, the Deputies usually show up, a big giant dog sniffs your vehicle, and
then you get cuffed and stuffed in the back of a patrol car as we seize your illegal drugs!!
In yet another classic example of what happens when you ignore the advice provided in “Drug Dealing For Dummies”, a deputy stopped a vehicle being driven by Riposta and made contact with him and his little friend Esposito.
The deputy then gets a little help from his friends, another deputy and his K-9 deputy partner, who alerts on the
vehicle, and then Riposta and Esposito are soon on their way to jail!!
Located during a search of the vehicle on the dash were three orange pills that were subsequently determined
to be Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine. Also located on the dash was a single broken white pill that field-tested
positive for cocaine, and 35 additional orange pills that were determined to be Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine.
The pills were contained in a green prescription bottle with the prescribed persons’ name ripped off. The pill bottle
was located in the center console of Riposta’s vehicle, next to two prescription pill bottles with Riposta’s name on
them.
As a result of the vehicle search, Riposta was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Controlled
Substance and given a free ride to jail, where he got some nice, slightly used shower slides and a gift certificate for
a Honey Bun from the inmate commissary!!
Oh and his little friend Esposito…yeah he took the ride too as a lawful search of his person produced four
baggies that were hidden in his underwear that contained a clear crystal substance which field-tested positive
for methamphetamine and weighed a total of 13.7 grams. He also had two baggies containing a white powdery
substance that field-tested positive for fentanyl and weighed a total of 8.9 grams. Additionally, he had three orange
pills that were identified as Buprenorphine/
Naloxone, and five purple pills that were
identified as Alprazolam/Xanax that were
also hidden in his underpants as well!!
Esposito was subsequently placed under arrest for Trafficking in Methamphetamine and two counts of Possession of a
Controlled Substance Without Prescription.
Esposito also got a luxurious package at the
jail when he arrived, that included shower
slides, tailored striped suit, and a thorough
search by our very accommodating staff
since he likes to hide stuff in his undies!!

On May 10, Lexington Assessment and Reception Center Deputy Warden Tasha Parker
was arrested for the introduction of contraband
into a penal institution. She was terminated
from her position.
ODOC diligently removes bad actors who endanger public safety. Recent updates to security
measures, using innovative technology, help us
protect our inmates and staff. Our Intelligence
Unit works actively to stop illegal activity in and
around our facilities, even if it involves an employee.
“The overwhelming majority of ODOC’s employees are dedicated to our
mission and vision,” stated Director Steven Harpe. “However, we will continue to hold accountable those who fail to protect the safety and security of
Oklahomans by not following our policies or state laws.”
Parker has been booked into Cleveland County Detention Center.

DRUG DEALING FOR DUMMIES:
CHAPTER 3
In This Chapter You Will Learn:
• Rule Number One: Don’t Be A Drug Dealer
• Rule Number Two: No Matter What, Don’t Be A Drug Dealer
• Rule Number Three: Don’t Fall Asleep With Your Hypodermic Needle In Your Lap
• Rule Number Four: Don’t Be A Criminal
To truly understand the importance of the four basic rules listed above, let’s follow
along with what happened last month to Megan Kachel, who could have easily avoided
all of this, but instead found herself in jail with everyone else who hasn’t read “Drug Dealing For Dummies”!!
Now this incident unfolds as FTO Darien Fedro was responding to the Kangaroo Gas
Station in Florida regarding a person sleeping in their car. When he located the vehicle,
he saw Megan Kachel asleep in the driver seat with the vehicle running and a loaded
syringe in her lap!! After Kachel was awakened from her slumber, she stepped out of the
vehicle and agreed to talk to a deputy whom she admitted to that the syringe in her lap
contained heroin!!
From there, a search of the vehicle revealed a bag on the front passenger seat which
was partially opened with another syringe sticking out. Inside the bag were multiple bags
that contained a substance that field tested positive for Fentanyl, ultimately weighing 2.9
grams and another bag containing approximately 1.5 grams of a crystal like substance
that field tested positive for meth!! And if that wasn’t enough, within one of the bags of
drugs were 3.5 pills which were identified as Alprazolam!!
Since Kachel didn’t follow Rules 1-3, it ultimately led her to Rule 4, so she was given
a free ride to jail on an $8,000 bond for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of
Fentanyl, Possession of Alprazolam and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
As a courtesy, in the
future, it’s highly recommended keeping up with
the various chapters of
“Drug Dealing For Dummies” and especially follow Rule One from today’s
chapter, unless you want
to make a reservation for
yourself at the jail!!

We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.

COLD CASE INVESTIGATION
CONTINUES
On the afternoon of Monday November 29, 2021,
while grading a rural Cherokee County dirt road, Cherokee County District 1 employees discovered the body
of a deceased male lying down an embankment below
the roadway and notified the Cherokee County Sheriff’s
Office.
CCSO investigators responded to the area. It appeared the victim had been pushed or thrown off the
roadway down the embankment. The victim came to rest on its right side with its back
against a tree. The victim had been partially concealed in two black trash bags and his
wrists were bound together. The victim was clothed in black ankle socks with white images printed on them, greyish blue sweatpants over black shorts with a nylon drawstring
and a red and black fleece styled zippered jacket. The victim was dark skinned with black
hair and his hair appeared to be cut very close to the skin on the sides and longer than
shoulder length in the back.
An investigator with the Tulsa office of the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene. The ME investigator estimated the victim was placed in the scene during
the late evening hours of Saturday November 27, 2021.
No items of identification such as a wallet, driver’s license or Social Security card were
found with the body. The victim had a tattoo on his right forearm that consisted of five
letters, A Y I A J.
With the help of the tattoo on the victim’s right forearm, the victim was identified as MIGUEL JOSUE ORTEGA, a 27-year-old resident of Decatur, Arkansas. ORTEGA’s cause
and manner of death was determined to be homicide by gunshot.
If you have any information on this homicide, please give me a call at 918-456-2583.

Two convicted felons were arrested in Purcell
after police caught them driving a stolen vehicle
on May 10.
The suspects also had guns, drugs, and paraphernalia in their possession.
According to reports, Purcell officers were dispatched to Phillips 66 to investigate a possible
stolen vehicle. When they arrived at the location,
they confirmed that the gray Dodge Charger had
been reported stolen out of Davis.
The driver, Shawn Allen Michael Gray, 30, and
passenger, 30-year-old Ashley Lynn Willis-Gray,
were placed under arrest.
During the investigation, officers were advised
that the duo were convicted felons.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a loaded 1911 Springfield firearm, a DPMS AR-15,
and some methamphetamine. They also found
a backpack that contained a bank-style money
bag. Inside the backpack was also a Crown Royal
bag with a large amount of cash.
Shawn Gray is being charged with aggravated trafficking in illegal drugs,
possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction, possession of a stolen
vehicle, acquiring proceeds from drug activity, driving with a license canceled/
suspended/revoked, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ashely Willis-Gray is being charged with aggravated trafficking in illegal drugs,
possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a stolen vehicle, acquiring proceeds
from drug activity, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Their bonds were set at $80,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on
June 26, 2024.
