A Ponca City man was arrested on December 6 because he couldn’t seem to leave his ex-girlfriend alone.
26-year-old David Allen Chamberlain told the victim’s
mother her daughter was a slut, and he allegedly threw
something at the victim’s car.
According to the victim, the harassment started on
December 4. She told a Ponca City officer she and her
mom were traveling down 14th Street when she saw her
ex sitting at the stop light. Even though she had a protective order against the man, he followed her vehicle. She
pulled around a building so he wouldn’t see her car, but
he that didn’t stop him from bothering her. Shortly after
she got away from him, he called her mom and told her that her daughter was a
slut.
Two days later, the victim was in her car traveling northbound on Seventh when
she saw her ex again shortly after 8 p.m. He continued to follow her, no matter
where she turned. At one point, he stuck his arm out of the window and threw
something, hitting the driver side of her car. She said he also tried to hit her vehicle with his truck. Luckily, she was able to switch lanes and evade getting sideswiped by his truck.
When police caught up to Chamberlain at his residence, he admitted that he followed his ex, even though she had a protective order against him. He also admitted to calling the victim’s mother.
Chamberlain is being charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, throw or
drop object on motor vehicle and stalking. His bond was set at $100,000, and he
was scheduled to appear in court on December 18, 2015.

A Bartlesville man seemed to think he could
get away from police officers by running away on
December 17. Not surprisingly, Marcus Montana
Moore, 30, wasn’t successful.
He gave it his best efforts, though!
Despite a car chase, a car crash, and a pursuit
on foot, he was eventually caught and thrown in
jail.
According to the affidavit, a Bartlesville officer
tried to stop Moore when he saw the man’s vehicle traveling in a lane that was barricaded off
on Hensley Blvd. around 1:45 a.m. Moore was
driving eastbound in a blocked-off westbound lane.
When the officer turned on his red and blue lights, the suspect slowed to 10 mph, but he failed to
stop. He creeped onto Johnstone Avenue, then accelerated and took off onto Second Street.
The officer activated his siren, but Moore continued down the road, going 40 mph in a 25 mph zone.
He then turned into the Chamber of Commerce parking lot and came to a stop at the north end of the
lot.
He wasn’t done running, though. Moore jumped out of his vehicle and took off running down some
railroad tracks. He fell two or three times before finally giving up and staying on the ground after his
last fall.
While he was running, Moore’s unattended vehicle slammed into the side of a patrol vehicle.
Moore told police he ran because he was scared and didn’t know what to do.
Ummm, how about stop?
While inventorying the man’s vehicle, police found three pills identified as hydrocodone, ecstasy and
amphetamine.
Moore is being charged with eluding/attempting to elude police officer, possession of controlled
dangerous substance, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and obstructing officer. He was released on a $30,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on January 15, 2016.

Jim S: Law enforcement are suppose to keep a higher standard of living. If
a person is charged with a crime against a law enforcement official that crime penalty use generally more severe. The same standards should be equal for the trust
in the person enforcing the law is lost. So their penalty should also be be greater.

I also think it’s wierd that he forced that many women to do oral on him.... I’m

about all this if he were only sentenced to say 5 yrs in prison... REAL hard time in
general population like a REAL criminal. The catch to the short sentence would
be that he gets to be raped against his will 263 times before his 5 yrs are up to get
out. Then be able to get out and work and live with a moniter on his ankle for the
rest of his life…

Barnsdall man Robert Lee Brown, 30, allegedly shot
his ex brother-in-law in the scrotum and upper thigh on
December 16.
That’s one way to cut family ties!
An Osage County deputy was dispatched to the hospital to speak with the victim on December 16. Medical
records showed that the man had been treated for gunshot wounds from what appeared to be a small caliber
projectile.
According to the affidavit, the victim said he agreed to
meet a friend to buy some weed. When the friend arrived
near the intersection of CR 2365 and CR 2804 at approximately 12:30 a.m. to complete the deal, the victim noticed his ex-BIL, Brown, was
sitting in the front seat.
During the transaction, the victim said Brown pulled out a gun and shot him,
hitting him in the upper thigh and scrotum. The victim said he then took off running into the woods.
Brown fired several more shots into the trees where the victim was hiding.
The victim told the deputy his “friend” the drug dealer and Brown stayed in the
area for several minutes looking for him.
Luckily, they didn’t find him.
During the investigation, the deputy discovered Brown was a convicted felon
who shouldn’t have had a gun in the first place. The man was later placed under
arrest and transported to jail.
Brown is being charged with shooting with intent to kill and possession of firearm after former felony conviction. His bond was set at $50,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on December 31, 2015.

When a woman accidentally left her
wallet at Dollar General on December 3,
Stillwater woman Jennifer Annette Moses, 26, swooped in and took it home.
According to the affidavit, the victim
contacted a Pawnee officer shortly after
3 p.m. She said she left her wallet at the
store, and someone took it. The victim
was adamant that there was $351 in her
wallet, because it was for her rent payment.
The officer went to the store and watched surveillance footage of the incident. He watched
as the victim left her wallet at the register. When it was Moses’s turn to check out, the wallet was no longer safe. In the video, she placed her wallet on top of the victim’s wallet -- she
never tried to tell the cashier about the victim’s wallet. After she paid for her items, Moses
placed both wallets in a bag and left the store.
The officer identified a woman who was with Moses in the store. He contacted her and let
her know that he needed to speak with her friend.
Moses contacted the officer at approximately 4:50 p.m. She said she had the wallet. The
officer asked her why she didn’t turn it in while she was in town. She said she had to get her
grandmother to the hospital. The officer told her to bring it in.
Around 6:47 p.m., the suspect’s brother arrived with the wallet. Moses again called the officer shortly after 7 p.m. The officer asked her why she didn’t drop the wallet off herself. She
said she was busy. The officer asked her to come to the station.
The officer showed her surveillance from the store and asked her why she didn’t give the
wallet to the cashier. Moses said she was in a hurry to take her mom to an appointment and
deliver some pies.
Despite her excuses, she said she wanted to turn the wallet in and was glad it would be
returned to the owner.
The officer told her she should have given it to the cashier. The wallet contained $342.33
in cash.
The victim said the suspect used some of her money, and she wanted to file charges.
Moses is being charged with larceny of lost property. She was released on a $2,000 bond
and is scheduled to appear in court on January 12, 2016.

We hear many times from people that the arresting
offi cer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
