Ponca City man Emilio Andreas Garcia, 20, allegedly had way too much alcohol on December
8. In his drunken haze, he allegedly threw a shelf
at his dad, scratched his mom, and assaulted two
police officers.
According to the police report, Ponca City officers were dispatched to a house in the 400 block
of N. Ash Street at approximately 8:17 p.m. to
investigate a disturbance. Garcia’s father said he
arrived home shortly after 8 p.m. to find his son
“screaming and banging around.” He went to the
man’s room to see what was going on. When he
opened the bedroom door, he said he saw his son throwing stuff around.
At one point, he was hit in the head by a large plastic shelf that Garcia
threw.
The man’s mom told officers that her son had too much alcohol and
started destroying her home, so she called the police. When he exited his
room, he pushed her and scratched her neck.
The man’s brother tried to get him to calm down, but Garcia was just
too wound up. His brother had to take him to the ground and hold him
there until officers arrived.
Two officers responded to the scene and were led into the kitchen by
Garcia’s mom. They saw two men fighting on the kitchen floor. One of
the officers was able to separate the men, but Garcia charged the officer
and grabbed both of his legs. The officer took the man to ground. Garcia
continued to kick at the officer and pull away until another officer assisted
in placing the man in handcuffs.
As the officers escorted the man to the patrol car, he kept trying to kick
one of the officers between the legs.
Garcia’s father had a large bump on his forehead, and his mom had a
scratch on her neck that was bleeding.
Garcia is being charged with two counts of battery/assault and battery
on police officer. His bond was set at $2,500, and he is scheduled to appear in court on December 16, 2016.

A Palm Beach Gardens man is facing charges that he pointed a gun at another motorist during a road rage incident, according to an arrest report.
If the accusation proves true, then Jack Michael Haberkorn picked the
wrong victim.
The person Haberkorn allegedly threatened turned to be an off-duty Palm
Beach Gardens police officer.
Haberkorn, 22, is now facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly
weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, improperly exhibiting a firearm and
possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and is being held
in the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $81,000 bail.
The road rage incident took place eastbound on PGA Boulevard and began
when a 2014 Volkswagon Jetta driven by Haberkorn cut in front of the off-duty
officer and “continuously” braked hard, the report said.
The officer said she pulled up along the Jetta and said, “Really … really?”
Haberkorn allegedly responded by reaching down and pointing the weapon
out the window and at the woman while stating, “You better watch who the
[expletive] you’re [expletive] with,” the report said.
The officer alerted police and followed the Jetta until it ran a red light at the
intersection of PGA Boulevard and Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue.
Police tracked down Haberkorn and found a loaded .40-caliber Glock in his
possession as well as Xanax and burglary tools inside his vehicle. The off-duty
officer positively identified Haberkorn as the person who pointed the weapon
at her.
Authorities say an assistant principal at a Tampa area high school ended up
going to a hospital and then to jail after she tried some pot-laced cookies for
her 50th birthday.
Pasco County Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Doll says Donna Lynch Haff overdosed Monday on cookies made with cannabis oil.
He says the educator’s daughter, 19-year-old Allison Haff, had obtained the
cookies from a co-worker and brought them home after her mother said she
wanted to try marijuana for her 50th.
Doll says both were released from jail that day and that they were charged
with felony possession of a controlled substance.
It’s unclear if the women have retained attorneys.
School district officials say the assistant principal has been placed on administrative leave from her high school in Holiday.
A woman was arrested after she injured her husband with a sword after an
argument over drugs and their relationship, deputies say.
The Clay County Florida Sheriff’s Office responded Nov. 5 to a home in the
1680 block of Baxley Road in Middleburg.
During an argument, Brandi Oberdeck, 25, threw a wrench at Peter Oberdeck and hit him in the thigh, deputies said.
Peter Oberdeck got a sword, caused damage to the home and dropped the
sword, the report said.
CCSO said Brandi Oberdeck grabbed the sword and struck the victim’s
stomach, forearms and right side.
Peter Oberdeck was taken to Orange Park Medical Center for treatment.
Peter and Brandi Oberdeck have been married for about four years.
Deputies said it appears that they were under the influence of alcohol or
drugs. Deputies found two swords inside the home.
Brandi Oberdeck is charged with aggravated battery. CCSO said she was
placed on suicide watch.

A Broken Arrow woman was arrested in
Osage County after she allegedly tried to use
a fake ID to cash out a ticket at a local casino
on December 14.
Although she lied about her name multiple times, she was eventually identified as
32-year-old Shawnda Cherese O’Donald.
According to the affidavit, an Osage Nation
officer was dispatched to the casino located
on E. 15th Street in Pawhuska around 10
p.m. due to a woman using a false identification card. He was advised that several officers were working a case against Shawnda
O’Donald, also known as Shawnda Walker,
because she had been caught with multiple fake ID cards.
The officer met with the woman who handed over an ID card with the
name “Emily” on it. The picture on the ID did not match O’Donald’s appearance. Security also told the officer that a casino employee knew
the suspect from prior contact, the employee identified the woman as
O’Donald.
The officer asked O’Donald who the identification card belonged to.
She replied that it belonged to her sister. She told him her name was Alicia. He asked her to be honest with him, but she continued to insist that
her name was Alicia.
When he asked if her name was actually Shawnda O’Donald, she said
no.
Security looked up O’Donald on Facebook. A picture on the woman’s
account showed that she had a small tattoo on her upper arm. The officer
asked the woman to roll up her sleeve. Sure enough, there was the tattoo.
When the officer asked her why she lied about being Shawnda O’Donald,
she told him, “You asked if my name was Shawnda O’Donald. My name
is Shawnda Walker.”
Dispatch located a driver’s license under the name Shawnda Walker.
Under previous names, the license listed Shawnda O’Donald.
Dispatch also advised the officer that O’Donald had multiple felony warrants out of Osage County.
As the officer escorted the woman out of the casino, he heard her tell an
acquaintance, “I’m going to Osage County. Out that on my books (referring to a casino ticket she had handed the acquaintance). It will be under
Shawnda O’Donald, my name before I got married.”
O’Donald is being charged with make/sell/possess/display false identification card and obstructing an officer. Her bond was set at $4,000, and
she is scheduled to appear in court on January 19, 2017.

PETTYGREW
A 44-year-old Blackburn man was locked up
after he allegedly forced his way into his niece’s
house, hit his girlfriend, and threatened to kill some
people on December 14.
Robert Wayne Pettigrew told police that he never
threatened to kill anyone.
According to the police report, a Pawnee County
deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 500
block of N. E Street in Blackburn shortly after 10
a.m. He was advised that a man had broken into
the home and was threatening to hurt everyone in
the house.
When the deputy arrived, he was met by a woman who told him that her
uncle, identified as Pettigrew, had jumped the fence and forced his way
into her house through the front door. She said while he was in the house,
he acted as though he was going to hit her, he threatened to burn her
house down, and he also threatened to kill her fiancé.
The woman said Pettigrew’s girlfriend was also inside the residence during the altercation, and she saw the man hit her before leaving.
The deputy found Pettigrew hiding out in a small building across the
street. Pettigrew said he never threatened to kill anyone. He told the deputy he just threatened to kick his niece’s finance’s ass, and he also said
he told the people in the home that he could “f--- everyone in the house
down,” but he never threatened to kill anyone. He also denied hitting his
girlfriend.
The deputy placed him in investigative detention and went back to the
residence to get everyone’s account of events. Pettigrew’s girlfriend told
the deputy that the man had hit her in the face, but she didn’t have any
visible injuries.
Everyone’s statements matched what the suspect’s niece had first told
the deputy when he arrived on scene.
Pettigrew is being charged with threaten to perform act of violence. His
bond was set at $4,000.

Bartlesville man Michael Anthony
Walker Sr., 36, allegedly set a home on
fire in the early morning hours of November 27.
According to the police report, an investigator with the Bartlesville Fire Department was sent to the residence in
the 300 block of N. Seminole to investigate the cause of the house fire. A man
told police that he saw Walker and another man set the home on fire. He said
the two men used some gasoline they
brought from Walker’s home to start the
blaze. The man said it took the suspects
approximately five tries over the course
of an hour before they were able to light the house on fire.
When officials examined the scene, they found at least three
areas of origin where the fire was started on the exterior of the
home. Some plastic sheeting that was leaned against the west
side of the house had some visible melting from the heat of the
flames.
The occupants of a home on the north side of the house where
the fire occurred said they came home at approximately 4:40 a.m.
While walking from the car to the house, they smelled something
that appeared to be burning oil or burning trash, but they didn’t
think too much of it since they couldn’t see any flames or smoke.
They went to sleep but were woken up at approximately 5:53
a.m. by someone yelling outside. They looked out of the window
and saw that the house next to them was on fire.
Walker is being charged with first-degree arson. His bond was
set at $200,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on December 16, 2016.
