TRIFECTA
OF
TROUBLE
Three men were arrested at the 7 Clans First
Council Casino on January 28 after police found
fentanyl and other drugs and paraphernalia in
their possession.
According to reports, an Otoe Missouri police
officer saw a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign
while leaving the casino around 11:45 p.m. He
stopped the vehicle and made contact with the
four males inside.
Three of the men were identified as Harvey Sidney Neal II, 52, and Darrien Eugene Dewberry, 54,
both of Ponca City, and 63-year-old Enid man Anthony Wayne Dewberry Sr.
While speaking to the men, the officer noticed
Darrien was trying to hide what appeared to be a
meth pipe. The officer removed the passengers
from the vehicle. The driver, identified as Neal, allegedly told police that there was some meth in
the car.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a green
leafy substance covering the floorboard. They
also found a glass pipe, a machete, a wooden baton, some blue pills, a crystal-like rock, white pills,
digital scales, a knife, a stun gun, cell phones, and
some needles.
One of the men said he had just asked the other
three for a ride, and he didn’t know them. He was
released for the scene.
153 pills found in the vehicle tested positive
for fentanyl. Some of the other substances were
identified as 6.9 grams of meth, 9 ounces of marijuana, 5 Xanax pills, and 10 Norco pills.
All three men are being charged with aggravated trafficking in illegal drugs
(fentanyl), two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to
distribute, conspiracy to traffic controlled dangerous substance and possession
with intent to distribute, all after the former conviction of two or more felonies,
possession of a controlled dangerous substance (alprazolam), and unlawful
possession of drug paraphernalia.
Their bonds were set at $75,000.
Neal is scheduled to appear in court on March 3, 2023. Darrien Dewberry and
Anthony Dewberry are scheduled to appear in court on April 14, 2023.

Bartlesville police officers are looking for a suspect after a local bank was robbed on February
24.
According to reports, the suspect went to Truity Credit Union, located in the 2600 block of SE
Washington Boulevard, at approximately 3:30 p.m. The suspect parked in the
bank parking lot and sat in the vehicle for a short time before walking into the
building, giving a note to one of the tellers. Witnesses say the suspect didn’t
use a weapon during the robbery and fortunately, no one was hurt.
After the employee handed over some cash, the suspect left the bank,
jumped back into the black Chevrolet Equinox, and fled north on Washington
Boulevard.
According to witnesses and surveillance footage, the suspect was a slender
Caucasian, 6’1”- 6’2”, wearing a black jacket, black hat, and black gloves. The
suspect also had on a blue mask and blue jeans and smelled like gasoline.
The suspect apparently told people that there were bombs around the building. The suspect threatened that they would detonate.
Law enforcement is still searching for the suspect. WAYLON

March is National Youth Violence
Prevention Month
The National Association of Students
Against Violence Everywhere is a nonprofit
aiming to provide safer environments for
our youth. Its mission is to decrease the
potential for violence in our schools and
communities by promoting meaningful student involvement, education and service
opportunities.
SAVE’s Vision: Schools and communities will be safer and more secure, free of
fear and conducive to learning as a result of
students being actively involved in meaningful violence prevention efforts.
How It Got Started: SAVE was started by students in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989 after the tragic death of a classmate who was trying to break up a
fight at an off-campus party. A group of students who did not want this death
to be “just another statistic” took action and created a violence prevention
program.
Chapters: SAVE has evolved into a national association with chapters in
elementary, middle and high schools as well as at colleges and community organizations across the country. Today, there are more than 200,000 students
involved nationwide.
Activities: Student members take the lead in planning chapter activities by
using the three SAVE Essential Elements: conducting crime prevention activities, conducting conflict management activities and providing meaningful service through projects in schools and communities. SAVE chapters also plan
safety rallies and safety awareness campaigns, engage in peer mentoring to
younger students, and conduct fun and educational meetings.
