DRUG DEALING FOR DUMMIES:
CHAPTER 5
In this month’s “Drug Dealing For Dummies” lesson, we discuss how not one single person
on the planet wants to put drugs in their body that you just shoved up your poop chute!! That’s
right...if you are gonna try to hide your supply of drugs, the last place you should think about
putting them is in your prison wallet, as who in the world wants to ingest something you just
shoved up your butt and then defecated out on the floor!!
While “Drug Dealing For Dummies” is a guide, some things shouldn’t need to be said such
as...don’t do drugs, don’t sell drugs, don’t sell drugs in Brevard County (Fla.), and without question, don’t try to hide drugs when you are going to jail by shoving them up your anus!! Especially
when we constantly tell you that no matter where you hide your contraband, we are still going
to find it through our X-ray machine or during the strip search before you are taken to a cell!!
I mean let’s be honest folks, there are not a lot of places you can hide drugs when you are
being stripped search, so for us, its really a matter of after we put on our gloves do we go in your
mouth first to search for drugs or your prison wallet first!!
Sadly, not everyone reads “Drug Dealing For Dummies” as
lRobert Plummer found his way to jail once again after he attempted to flee from Deputies who were trying to stop him on
his bicycle. Plummer was just arrested days ago for resisting and
trying to pull a gun from a bag when Deputies were taking him into
custody!! Now here he is again, doing the same exact crap and
earning another ride in our courtesy shuttle to the Brevard County
Jail after he physically resisted Deputies again!!
The only difference in this time and his previous visit just days
before, is when he was taken into the changing area last night
to put on his new jail attire, he defecated on the floor and out
popped three separate baggies of drugs!! That’s right, he copped
a squat and defecated three separate baggies on the floor that
respectively contained 5.3 grams of a substance that field tested positive for meth, 4 grams of a substance that field
tested positive for meth, and a baggie that contained
5.29 grams of a substance that field tested positive for
cocaine!!
Well, regardless of how crappy he acted, we still got
him a not so nice room with no view at the jail and a
slightly used pair of shower slides to make his stay more
comfortable after he was charged with two counts of

PITTSBURG COUNTY RESIDENT
SENTENCED FOR POSSESSING AN
UNREGISTERED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE
Jerry Brandon Pearce, 56, of Indianola, was sentenced to
25 months in prison for one count of Possession of an Unregistered Firearm (Destructive Device).
The charge arose from an investigation by the Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
On November 25, 2024, Pearce pleaded guilty to possessing an explosive device not registered to him in the National
Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. According to investigators, on September 4, 2023, law
enforcement responded to blast reports at Pearce’s residence. There, agents encountered Pearce
and two bystanders suffering injuries from a detonated grenade. An investigation of the blast site
revealed that Pearce had modified the unregistered explosive before accidentally setting it off, and
that Pearce also possessed assembly components for building additional grenades.
“This case underscores the serious danger posed by illegal and unregistered explosive devices,”
said ATF Special Agent in Charge Bennie Mims. “Thanks to the swift response and thorough investigation by our law enforcement partners, a potentially deadly situation was contained before further
harm occurred. Our office remains committed to prosecuting those who violate federal firearms
laws and to supporting initiatives like Project Safe Neighborhoods that protect our communities from
violent crime.”
“Pearce’s actions were egregious and could have been fatal,” said United States Attorney Christopher J. Wilson. “Pearce put his own interests ahead of the safety of the community and caused
immense harm. Such caustic conduct cannot and will not be tolerated.”
This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program bringing together all levels of
law enforcement and the communities they serve to reduce violent crime and gun violence, and to
make our neighborhoods safer for everyone. On May 26, 2021, the department launched a violent
crime reduction strategy strengthening PSN based on these core principles: fostering trust and legitimacy in our communities, supporting community-based organizations that help prevent violence
from occurring in the first place, setting focused and strategic enforcement priorities, and measuring
the results.
Pearce will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration. CESAR

A hooded daredevil was caught on video recklessly scaling the Roosevelt Island tramway on
June 16 and sending cops scrambling to bring
him to safety has been charged in the stupid stunt.
Miguel Martinez, 20, of Oceanside, Long Island,
NY, was charged with reckless endangerment,
obstruction of governmental administration and
criminal trespass in the brazen incident that unfolded around 7 p.m., authorities said.
Footage shows the masked Martinez nonchalantly walking back and forth
along the gangway of the tramway’s 250-feet-tall support tower on the Manhattan side. At one point, he descends and climbs a series of short ladders on the
tower and makes his way out onto an I-beam barely wide enough to accommodate his feet, the nail-biting video shows.
Shocked New Yorkers called 911, prompting cops to respond to the scene in
climbing gear.
The brave first responders made their way to the tower’s peak, secured Martinez in safety gear and brought him down to the ground unharmed, police said.
The thrill-seeker was taken by paramedics to Weill-Cornell Medical Center,
according to the FDNY.
There was no indication that Martinez — who has no prior arrests in the Big
Apple — scaled the tower as part of a protest or for a cause, cops said.

In June 2025, Deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle
from the Kia dealership in Melbourne, Florida, that had been
taken off of the lot the day before by an unknown suspect.
Later that evening, the vehicle was determined to be in the
area of West King Street in Cocoa, and the sheriff’s team went
to work!!
Deputy Keith Grosse of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office
Ag/Marine Unit subsequently observed the vehicle in the McDonald’s drive-thru line, pulled up to the menu board placing
an order, possibly for a Hamburglar Happy Meal!! Dep. Grosse pulled in behind the vehicle like he
was lining up to place an order as well, and then shortly after, officers from the Cocoa PD arrived on
scene to help block the vehicle in!!
The driver and only person in the car, Kenneth Miller, was taken into custody, and interestingly
enough, he told Deputies that he didn’t have a driver’s license, but wait that’s not all… Miller is already out on bond for driving while license suspended with knowledge, resisting an officer, reckless
driving, and failure to register a motor vehicle!!
So he is already out on bond for doing dumb criminal stuff and then decides to go steal a car!
And here’s where the case gets even better, or how about juicier than a Big Mac, Miller matches
the description of one of two males who test drove that same vehicle a few days prior!!
When Kia employees came to retrieve the vehicle, they brought two sets of keys with them from
the dealership but only one set worked!! The good news is that the other set of keys to the vehicle
weren’t lost as they were in Miller’s pocket!!
BCSO Agents believe Miller and the other suspect switched the set of keys during the test drive
allowing them to come back and steal the vehicle with no problems. And to top it all off, the tag on
the vehicle was from another Kia dealership!!
Another criminal is behind bars on no bond…I’m lovin’ it!! Did anyone other than me just hear the
music play for the McDonald’s jingle?

ILLOGICAL LOGIC
A Checotah man has been sentenced in federal court for illegally possessing a firearm and
then trying to pawn it.
Douglas Ray Lollis, Jr., 33, of Checotah, was
sentenced to 40 months in prison for one count
of Felon in Possession of Firearm.
The charge arose from an investigation by the
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
On March 4, 2025, Lollis was found guilty by a
federal jury at trial for one count of illegally possessing a firearm.
According to investigators, on December 22, 2022, Lollis pawned a
9x19mm pistol which he possessed illegally. At the time of that transaction,
Lollis was prohibited from owning firearms after having been previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.
Lollis will self-report on August 4, 2025, to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration.

Additional charges have been filed in Haskell
County District Court following the Stigler double
homicide investigation.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), on April 5, 2025, the Haskell
County Sheriff’s Office requested the OSBI’s assistance in a homicide investigation.
Approximately 6:00 p.m., deputies responded
to a shooting call near Cass Road in rural Stigler.
Upon arrival, they discovered 56-year-old Tina
Mitchell, who had sustained stab wounds and
multiple apparent gunshot wounds. Mitchell was
pronounced deceased at the scene.
During the investigation, deputies and OSBI
special agents identified the suspect as 49-yearold Billy Mitchell, who fled the area on foot. A
second suspect, identified as 39-year-old Jack
Swanda, remained on the scene upon deputies’
arrival. Swanda sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The OSBI, in collaboration with local law enforcement agencies, promptly commenced a search for Mitchell. As the search
progressed, deputies located Mitchell concealed at a nearby property. Mitchell
was apprehended and booked into the Haskell County Jail.
Subsequently, after Swanda’s release from the hospital, he was also arrested
and booked into the Haskell County Jail.
During daylight hours, deputies and agents continued their search of the property. During this search, a second deceased individual was discovered, identified
as 75-year-old Shirley Fisher, Mitchell’s biological mother. Fisher was transported
to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where the cause and manner of
death were determined to be homicide by strangulation.
On July 9, 2025, based on the information and evidence obtained by OSBI
special agents, the Haskell County District Attorney’s Office charged Mitchell
with an additional count of First-Degree Murder for the homicide of Fisher. This
investigation remains ongoing.

AROUND THE STATE
On June 22, 2025, the Laverne Police Department requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of
Investigation to investigate allegations of sexual
assault.
OSBI special agents began their comprehensive investigation and identified the suspect as
66-year-old Christopher Cassel, who is a pastor
in Laverne, Oklahoma.
Based on the information and evidence gathered during the investigation, Cassel was arrested and booked into the Harper County Jail on two counts of Forcible
Sodomy, one count of Distribution of Narcotics, and one count of Furnishing
Alcohol to a Minor. This is still an ongoing investigation at this time.
The OSBI appreciates the Laverne Police Department for their continued
assistance with this investigation.
