Late evening on November 27, Wardens Dru Polk and Mark Hannah
of McCurtain County, set up on Welcome Home Road near the rural
community of Watson. The wardens have received complaints of spotlighters in the area near several small cattle operations.
Right after dark, the wardens concealed themselves down a lane beside a cattle pasture. They stayed there for sometime until finally they
heard a vehicle moving toward them at a slow pace. As the diesel pickup
emerged from the wood line, the driver shined the field. Little did he know
that his quarry would be two game wardens hunting spotlighters.
The Smithville man was cited for Spotlighting, Hunting with the Aid of a
Motor Vehicle, and Transporting an Open Container of Beer.

Clayton woman Kelisha Sheree Alvarez,
28, allegedly threatened a man and woman
with a knife after the man told her to get out
of his home on December 1.
According to the affidavit, a Clayton officer was sent to a residence in the 500 block
of North First Street at approximately 1:40
a.m. for a domestic disturbance. Dispatch
advised a woman at the residence, identified as Alvarez, had a knife.
When the officer arrived, he was greeted
by a man who said he told Alvarez to pack
her stuff and leave. Instead of gathering her
stuff and getting out of the apartment, the
woman allegedly opened a knife and pointed it at the man and another woman who was with him at the time.
The officer found Alvarez sitting on a couch inside the apartment. He
asked her if the man’s account of events was true. She denied having a
knife, but she agreed that the victim told her to leave.
The officer then asked the woman to stand up so he could make sure
she wasn’t armed with anything. When she did, the officer noticed a folding knife beside her. He placed the woman in handcuffs while he tried to
figure out what was really going on.
Alvarez started screaming and cussing at the officer, so he put her in the
patrol car while he spoke to the other people at the residence. The victim
and the woman Alvarez threatened both told the officer the same story.
They also said $10 worth of silver coins, a gold pocket watch, and a small
watch were missing from the man’s apartment.
The officer walked outside and asked Alvarez what had happened. She
told him that the victim told her to pack her stuff and move out. She refused to leave until she was given some money to get back to California.
When the officer asked about the knife, she told him the victim gave it
to her.
The officer took the woman to jail. When they arrived, she became
irate and started screaming and cussing at everyone, even after she was
placed in a cell.
Alvarez is being charged with disturbing the peace and threatening an
act of violence. She was released on a personal recognizance bond and is
scheduled to appear in court on January 18, 2017.

Atoka man Steven Craig Williams, 46, allegedly stole his sister-in-law’s truck and used
it to steal a camper from Pittsburg County
sometime in November.
On November 28 at approximately 1 p.m.,
an Atoka County deputy was dispatched to
Farris Cemetery Road, because a woman
reported she was having problems with her
brother-in-law. The deputy arrived on location
to find a camper parked in the middle of the
road.
The deputy checked the registration on the
camper and was advised it had been reported
stolen out of Pittsburg County.
When the deputy contacted Pittsburg County, dispatched asked if a red truck was pulling the camper, because that
was the description they had been given of the vehicle used to steal the
camper.
The camper was indeed attached to a red truck that the reporting party
said belonged to her.
According to the affidavit, the woman told the officer she had been looking for her truck, which she had already reported as stolen to the sheriff’s
department. She found it parked on Farris Cemetery Road just east of
Centerpoint Road. She said the vehicle was “loaded down” with stuff.
She walked to the driver’s door to get her keys, and she found Williams
“dazed and out of it” on the passenger side of the vehicle. She was able to
get the keys, but Williams grabbed two backpacks out of the truck, jumped
the fence, and headed south from the road.
Williams is being charged with larceny of an automobile and knowingly
concealing stolen property. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and his
bond was set at $25,000.

20-year-old James Wesley Hill allegedly
left the scene of a vehicle accident on November 20 to get his mom so she could
take the blame.
Try as she might, the Coalgate man’s
mom was unable to keep her son from getting arrested.
According to the police report, a Coalgate
police officer was dispatched to the area of
Ohio and Covington at approximately 6:30
p.m. for a vehicle accident. When he arrived, he met with the victim’s mom and
another man who said he was the driver of
one of the vehicles involved in the accident.
The man and two juvenile witnesses told the officer that a man was
driving the other vehicle involved. They said after the accident occurred,
the man left the scene and brought back a woman, identified as his
mom.
Hill’s mom told the officer her son was in the vehicle at the time of
the collision, but he wasn’t driving. She said she was behind the wheel.
When the officer checked Hill’s information, he was advised that the
man had a suspended driver’s license. He placed the man under arrest.
When the officer informed Hill’s mom that she was also under arrest
for obstruction, she admitted that her son was the one driving the vehicle involved in the accident.
No information was available at time of print for the mother, but her
son is being charged with leaving scene of accident involving damage.
His bond was set at $1,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on
January 13, 2017.

MIRANDA
21-year-old Ruben Miranda allegedly
broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home and
threatened her and her kids with a knife on
December 6.
According to the affidavit, Calera officers
were dispatched to a residence in the 300
block of S. Third Street at approximately
8:53 p.m. When they arrived, a woman told
them Miranda had kicked in her back door
while holding a knife. She said he tried to go
to the bedroom where her kids were sleeping, but she was able to intercept him and
call 911.
The officers drove around the surrounding area, but they were unable to locate the
suspect. They returned to the victim’s residence and asked her if there was
anywhere on the property where Miranda could be hiding. The told them
he had built a small shack in her backyard.
The officer walked toward the shack, and one of them saw a man matching Miranda’s description lying on the ground. Miranda told the officer to
shoot and kill him.
The officer continued to tell the man to stand up and walk out of the
shack. Miranda eventually did stand up, but he fell backwards, knocking
the shack to the ground. He still refused to follow officer commands.
Officers approached the man, but Miranda continued to resist. After a
brief struggle, the officers were able to place the man in handcuffs.
As they escorted him to the patrol car, he continued to resist and tried
to kick the victim’s house and vehicle. When officer placed him inside the
vehicle, he yelled, “I will kill that bitch!”
One of the officers returned to the residence and retrieved the large
butcher knife used in the assault.
The victim later told police she and Miranda had dated for a short while,
and she let him stay at her home for the duration of their relationship. The
woman said she had told Miranda the night before that he needed to leave,
but she let him stay until the morning. When they woke up, he packed his
stuff and left. Another officer had told the man not to return to the residence. He obviously didn’t listen.
Miranda is being charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, malicious injury to property under $1,000 and resisting an officer.

NO FIZZ BROUGHT THE FUZZ…
SHE SHOULD HAVE ASKED FOR NO "ASSAULT" ON HER FRIES
An Oklahoma woman was arrested after she allegedly became enraged at a fast-food
restaurant.
FOX 23 reports that 18-year-old Kaiyah Johnson was arrested at a McDonald’s in Tulsa
early Sunday morning (December 11).
Witnesses told officers that Johnson ran into the restaurant and got behind the counter,
where she allegedly began hitting the manager.
Police say that witnesses heard Johnson yelling about her order being wrong.
However, she was not the only one who attacked the manager.
Investigators say several other women ran into the store behind her and also hit the
manager.
Johnson told officers that she went into the restaurant when the cashier was rude to her
and her soda was flat.
She was arrested on a complaint of assault and battery.

Hugo man Eric Booth, 35, allegedly threatened his almost ex and her friends and family
after a court hearing on November 17.
According to the police report, a Hugo officer was dispatched to a residence in the 800
block of West Kiamichi Street at approximately 9:45 a.m. When he arrived, a woman told
him that her son and Booth’s wife were dating.
She said Booth and his wife were in the process of getting divorced, and they had a court
hearing that morning. Since then, Booth had
been driving by the residence, cussing, yelling,
and threatening to kill everyone in the home.
After collecting statements from those at the
residence, the officer was advised that Booth
was headed to the police department to give his statement. The officer
met with Booth and explained that he needed a statement from him regarding the incident.
Booth was angry and started cussing.
When the officer told him they weren’t going to listen to that at the police
department, Booth got up to leave. He then seemingly changed his mind,
sat back down, and started to write. His statement wasn’t very helpful --
he left out a lot of details, including where the incident happened and what
kind of weapon was used.
When they officer asked him where the incident took place, Booth again
became angry and said he didn’t know. When he remembered it happened on Kiamichi, he told the officer he wanted to go there.
The officer told him no, so Booth ripped up his statement and walked
out of the building.
Booth is being charged with threaten to perform act of violence. His
bond was set at $1,500, and he is scheduled to appear in court on December 28, 2016.
