TAKIN' A LITTLE RIDE
Cushing man Kenny Jones, 48, allegedly set
fires in his brother’s trucks on July 20 because he
was mad at him.
According to reports, the Cushing deputy fire
chief was dispatched to investigate a vehicle fire
in the 1400 block of E. Maple around 9 p.m. When
he arrived at the location, he noticed that the driver’s seat area of two trucks had been burned. He
also smelled gasoline.
The deputy fire chief spoke to several witnesses, who said they saw Jones
carrying a gas can and setting the trucks on fire. A neighbor who lived across
the street provided home security video that showed Jones carrying a gas can
through the yard.
The deputy fire chief also searched Jones’ residence. He found a black hoodie
the man was wearing when he allegedly started the fires. He also found a gas
can in a detached garage.
The deputy fire chief and an investigator with the Payne County Sheriff’s Office
spoke to Jones about the incident. Jones admitted to starting the fires in both
of the vehicles. He said he was mad at his brother, so he opened the doors and
splashed gasoline on the seats. He then started the fires using a candle lighter.
Jones is being charged with two counts of arson in the third degree. His bond
was set at $10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on August 20, 2024.

AROUND THE NATION
Ice, ice, baby
A Dumfries, Va., man’s morning of mischief was literally put on ice after a crash at a Stafford County (Virginia) convenience store.
On July 14th at 2:57 a.m. Deputies S.A. Edwards,
D.S. Jett and C.M. Sterne responded to a single vehicle crash at the Valero at 620 Cambridge Street. They
arrived to find an Acura MDX had driven over the curb
and caused significant damage to the ice machine at
the side of the
business. The driver continued to reverse and pull
forward until deputies activated the lights and sirens on the patrol cars.
The driver was identified as Eric McDonald, 36,
and he refused to exit the vehicle. McDonald was
extracted from the vehicle and deputies noticed he
had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage as well as
glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.
McDonald was charged with DUI second offense in 10 years, three counts of obstruction,
felony destruction of property, refusal, no insurance and no registration. He was also found to be
wanted for a contempt of court charge from Stafford General District Court. McDonald was placed
in the Rappahannock Regional Jail pending his
ability to participate in a bond hearing.

SAPULPA MAN SENTENCED
FOR STABBING MAN TO DEATH
Arnold Dean Howell, Jr., 31, of Sapulpa, was
sentenced July 19 to 360 months imprisonment for
Second Degree Murder in Indian Country. Howell is
ordered to serve five years of supervised release following release from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
“Howell will serve 30 years in prison for the harm
he has caused,” said U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.
“My office remains steadfast in its commitment to
seek justice for victims affected by criminal violence.”
According to court documents, in April 2015, Howell was at the home of Michael
Mondier, Sr. In a fit of rage, Howell stabbed Michael more than 90 times using two
separate knives. After brutally killing Michael, Howell took Michael’s vehicle and several valuable possessions.
Howell is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He will remain in custody pending transfer to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.

MISS MANNERS
A 34-year-old Shawnee woman was put behind
bars in Lincoln County after she allegedly ran through
a stop sign and hit another vehicle while under the
influence on July 7.
According to the police report, a state trooper
was dispatched to investigate an injury collision at
US 177 and Highway 66 near Wellston shortly after
2 p.m. When he arrived at the location, he saw a
heavily damaged SUV that had run off the road and
driven through a barbed wire fence into a grass field.
Another vehicle at the scene, a black truck, had heavy damage to the rear end.
Witnesses at the location said the driver of the blue SUV was driving erratically at a
high rate of speed. The driver, later identified as Tymber Nannette Hall, drove through
the stop sign and rear-ended the black truck.
Two passengers in Hall’s vehicle suffered head injuries as a result of the collision.
The trooper attempted to speak to Hall, but she grabbed his broken sunglasses
and put them on. She also wasn’t making sense when she spoke, and she looked at
the trooper with blank stares. He tried administering a sobriety test, but Hall started
belching, so he stopped. The trooper also noticed that Hall had pinpoint pupils that
didn’t change with light.
The trooper placed Hall under arrest and then was transported to the hospital to
have her blood drawn. Her emotions were all over the place. Hall would be happy
and quiet, then she would be angry and upset. She also refused to sign any paperwork.
Hall is being charged with DUI with great bodily injury and failure to stop for yield
sign. Her bond was set at $3,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court on September 26, 2024. TREVOR

AROUND THE STATE
On July 21, the Tulsa Police Department posted
about a suspect who exposed himself and threatened a violent sex act. Thanks to all of the tips, we
were able to identify him and Officers with the IMPACT Unit located and arrested him.
The suspect, Joshua Milligan, was arrested at Admiral and Harvard at 12:30 p.m. on June 28. He was
brought down to Detective Division where he was
questioned about the incident.
Here are a couple of highlights from the interview:
• He admitted to being the person at the store and being told to leave
• Even though it was recorded on audio, when asked why he threatened to “Rape”
the store owner’s daughter, he claimed he said he was going to “Rake” her. He said
that’s a “Mafia” meaning to kill a person.
• When he was asked why he said he was going to “F--- Her”, he said he meant
to say “F--- Her Over”. (FYI “F---” is an expletive we’re redacting, in case you weren’t
picking up on that)
• As far as exposing himself, he said his pants were sagging.
Milligan was charged July 5 with indecent exposure and threaten an act of violence, in Tulsa County District Court. Bond was set at $10,000.
Information from the original post:
On July 18, around 5:00 p.m., the white male
wearing the OSU jersey caused a disturbance in
front of a business near 51st and Yale.
When the owner asked him to leave, the suspect aggressively got up in the owner’s face. The
owner pushed him back and pulled a gun out in
defense, The suspect briefly retreated.
The suspect continued to exchange words
with the owner, cursed at him, and threatened to
rape his daughter (who was present).
The suspect eventually walked away but not
before threatening to rape his daughter again
and pulled down his pants to expose himself.

A Guthrie man is facing several felony
charges after he allegedly sped from police,
crashed the vehicle he was driving, and then
took off running on foot.
Ryan Andrew Boyster, 39, was charged July
15 with aggravated attempting to elude an officer,
DUI, and possession of a firearm AFCF, in Logan
County District Court.
According to GPD, on July 9, while on patrol on E. Noble, a Guthrie Police
Sergeant observed a vehicle bearing a tag that was registered to another vehicle. The sergeant attempted to execute a traffic stop when the driver of the
vehicle accelerated and attempted to elude. The sergeant then initiated a pursuit
east on Noble before turning south on S. Midwest. The pursuit continued on S.
Midwest until the driver wrecked just north of Browne Ave. The driver then exited
the vehicle and ran on foot.
Guthrie Police Officers, with the assistance of Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies, quickly apprehended the driver, identified as Boyster, just after midnight on
July 10.
Bond for Boyster was set at $100,000 and he was ordered back to court on
August 8.
