FRITINGER
Friday morning, December 18, agents with the OSBI
Internet Crimes Against Children Unit arrested a Cushing
man on multiple complaints involving crimes against children via the Internet.
In mid November, the ICAC Unit received several tips
from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a Facebook user was sending and receiving lewd
pictures of girls. The cybertip line identified the Facebook
user as Carlos Fritinger and provided his email address.
With that information, OSBI agents requested information from Facebook and subscriber information from Fritinger’s Internet provider. The information from those sources revealed numerous communications to and from Fritinger involving photographs of girls, some
performing lewd acts.
Agents tracked Fritinger to 206 E. 2nd Street in Cushing. OSBI agents and
officers from the Attorney General’s Office, Edmond Police Department, Payne
County Sheriff’s Office, and Cushing Police Department served a search warrant
at Fritinger’s home and arrested him.
Fritinger admitted to the illegal behavior.
A preview of Fritinger’s cell phone at the scene revealed images of girls approximately 12 years old posing in a lewd manner and engaging in sexual acts.
Agents arrested Fritinger, 23, on the following complaints: possession of child
pornography; facilitating, encouraging, engaging in sexual communication with
a minor; communication with a minor by use of technology; lewd or indecent
proposals to a child; indecent exposure; and violation of the Oklahoma Computer
Crimes Act. He was booked into the Payne County jail.
This case should serve as a reminder that parents must know who their children are communicating with on Facebook and elsewhere on the Internet.

What you’re saying
about this on...
Tifani P: I think 263 years is a little crazy.. Yes
he did very wrong. But you rape 36 women and got that many years. A military
man from where I’m from abused a baby until he later died and he got 15 years
for child abuse. Like what??? Are you serious. He is a very sick man and deserves
time. But that’s almost 3 life sentences... Priorities need to be set. A child can’t
protect themselves, and neither can a woman.
Leslie B: Unfortunately, he will be segregated from the general prison
population because he was a cop. If they had to worry about “prison justice” &
being afraid to close their eyes to sleep, perhaps a law enforcement officer might
think long & hard about abusing his or her authority…
Jim S: Law enforcement are suppose to keep a higher standard of living. If
a person is charged with a crime against a law enforcement official that crime penalty use generally more severe. The same standards should be equal for the trust
in the person enforcing the law is lost. So their penalty should also be be greater.
Lacie W: I think it’s odd that he was only charged on 18 out of 36 charges, I also think it’s wierd that he forced that many women to do oral on him.... I’m
pretty sure if I was forced to do that id be biting as hard as possible. I’m not saying
he didn’t do the things he is being accused of but I do have a feeling a lot of women
jumped on the bandwagon on this.
Cynthia A: Cops are the biggest criminals out there, glad he is getting
his!!! I am praying karma over a cop in gravette arkansas , that little 5 foot, black
haired bastard. When he gets his I wanna see it!! I had an old Indian pray for him
something special.
Amy W: There going to love him in prison. He might see a little oral and
sodomy himself. Aka Karma
Janice M: Don’t abuse your position. He committed crimes against
women. His punishment fits his crimes.
Eric R: As a retired police officer, I think he abused his power. He deserves
a little jailhouse justice.
Michael S: This cop is a shining example of why the public does NOT
trust the police. As a whole...The police would tell you that the actions of a few
should not cast a shadow on all the rest.. This IS a SYSTEMIC problem and will
NEVER go away as long as the police are allowed to police themselves. Personally I
feel that 263 yrs is over the top for a punishment for the corrupt activiety that this
cop ingaged in. It’s almost like a cartoon sentence. As a tax payer It just dosen’t
seem fair to pay for his incarceration for the rest of my life. I would feel better
about all this if he were only sentenced to say 5 yrs in prison... REAL hard time in
general population like a REAL criminal. The catch to the short sentence would
be that he gets to be raped against his will 263 times before his 5 yrs are up to get
out. Then be able to get out and work and live with a moniter on his ankle for the
rest of his life…
Daniel Ken Holtzclaw is a former Oklahoma City
Police Department police officer. He was convicted on
December 10, 2015 of multiple counts of rape, sexual
battery, and forcible oral sodomy. What do you think
about the verdict?
What do you think?
William H: Hes on sucide watch. Can enjoy his crime and the pain of
his victim’s but cant handle the time.. what a lil bitch
Jim W: The fact that he was acquitted on a few charges shows that the jury
looked at every bit of the evidence. Good verdict.
Shelley S: I agree. Police are there to protect and he broke that trust.
They should be held to higher standards when they break the law.
Roy D: Oh I’m sure those ladies weren’t perfect Angels yes he was wrong
for what he did but I’m pretty sure those ladies offered it and he took it . Again he
was wrong but he shouldn’t have gotten that tha harsh of a punishment.
Patty F: Shocked police seem to get away with everything including murder
Melissa A: This verdict signls to all cops that there ARE consequences
to their actions regardless of their badge.
Vaden M: He did the crime, he did the time and needs to rot in jail.
Regardless of what his job was or how decorated his uniform was. He was found
guilty and was proven guilty. There’s many great cops, and there’s bad ones, too.
He was one of the bad ones.
Christina A: I feel some people like to put their opinion out there BEFORE they know the facts!!!! True victims are very hesitant about publicly sharing their stories and it’s about JUSTICE and HEALING!!! Not $100,000 law suits
against the city!!! I guarantee no amount of money well make a true victim feel
better!!!!
Norma A: Was real proud of the court system, there are probably other
officers out there that are doing or have done the same thing. Believe me hes not
the only one. It makes you scared to trust the law inforcement. He needs put away
for good.
Dennis J: What would be a disgrace is if one of the women come forward
in 5 to 10 years and says he really didn’t do it, just look at them women why would
he want any of them women especially the last one just saying

Two Sapulpa inmates are in even more trouble after
they started a fire in their jail cell. They then tried to
flush the lighter down the toilet.
On December 8 around 6:55 p.m., the fire alarm at
the police department started going off. When an officer went to investigate, he saw a fire in one of the cells,
according to the police report.
Two of the prisoners in the cell were OKC man Luis
Jose Vaca, 21, and 19-year-old Ryan Neal Powell of
Sapulpa.
The fire was extinguished. Vaca told the officer that
they flushed the lighter down the toilet -- the officer
found a small green lighter in the toilet bowl. Vaca admitted to the officer that it was his idea to start the fire.
Surveillance footage showed Vaca and Powell talk for
a moment, then walk into the cell together. They left
shortly after, and Vaca appeared to throw something
into the cell. Powell also said it was Vaca’s idea to set
the cell ablaze, but he admitted to the officer that he
placed paper on the fire. Powell said he found the lighter wrapped up in some toilet paper under the table in
his cell. He told the officer he didn’t know what it was
until Vaca unwrapped it.
The pyro inmates managed to damage the cell wall
-- the wall was scorched so badly from the fire that it couldn’t be cleaned.
Both Vaca and Powell are being charged with first-degree arson, bringing contraband into jail/penal institution, malicious injury to property under $1,000
and destroying evidence. Their bonds were set at $37,500, and they are scheduled to appear in court on January 6, 2016.
Let’s burn this jail down!

Death row
James Allen Coddington
James Allen Coddington,
39, of Choctaw was
convicted of murder and
sentenced to die in 2003 for
the 1997 beating death of
Albert Hale, 73. Authorities
said Coddington beat Hale
on the head with a hammer
because Hale wouldn’t give
him money to buy drugs.
The appeals court
overturned Coddington’s original death sentence, but a
diff erent jury imposed another death sentence in 2008.
The court’s opinion said jurors at Coddington’s second
sentencing trial found that Hales’ death was atrocious
and cruel and that Coddington posed a continuing threat
to society.
The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals upheld the
death sentence.

Tony Gene Privett, 39, allegedly walked into a
house he wasn’t supposed to be in and destroyed
a Christmas tree on December 12.
The Crescent man tried to act like he was actually the victim -- police didn’t buy it.
According to the affidavit, Guthrie officers
were dispatched to the 1500 block of W. Washington at approximately 8:38 p.m. for a verbal
dispute. Privett and two women were at the residence. And, it was Privett against the girls.
The man told the officer he had been living
at the residence for more than two weeks, even
though he had been issued a trespass warning
for the property. He said he started arguing with
the two women the day before about a girl he worked with. He said the women
ripped up some of his pictures and threw his belongings in the front yard. While
they were arguing, he said the woman knocked his glasses off and pushed him
into the Christmas tree. His glasses were knocked under the tree, and he couldn’t
see without them.
The officer couldn’t find any glasses in the living room. The two women told a
different story.
First off, Privett had not been living at the residence. Second, he was definitely
not welcome in the home.
One of the women said she was sitting in the living room when Privett barged
into the house without permission. He brought one of his bags in the house with
him, but he wasn’t staying -- the woman told him he needed to leave. She said the
angry man then picked up her Christmas tree and threw it on the ground.
So that explained why the man’s glasses were nowhere to be found.
The women said Privett refused to leave, so they called the police.
Privett was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
Privett is being charged with trespass after being forbidden. He was released on
a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 11, 2016.

A Eufaula man was arrested in
Lincoln County on December 21 after he allegedly shot at a man and
hit him with a baseball bat.
46-year-old Bobby Joe McFarland tried to hide from police, but
not even a cedar tree could hide the
presumably guilty man.
According to the police report,
Lincoln County deputies responded
to a fight in progress on CR 3510
south of 910 Road. Dispatch advised the fight involved a gun and a
baseball bat.
A deputy was flagged down by a
man who said McFarland shot a gun at him and hit his hand
with a baseball bat. He said the man hit him while he was trying
to call 911.
When the deputy asked the victim where the incident occurred, he pointed to a nearby residence. The deputy went to
the house and made contact with a woman, who was reluctant
to give up McFarland’s whereabouts. She finally consented and
said the man ran out into the pasture, but she insisted he didn’t
have a gun.
Police found the man hunkered down behind a cedar tree in
the woods.
The deputy placed him in handcuffs and asked him where the
gun was. He said he didn’t know -- the woman the deputy spoke
with earlier had it. When confronted by police, the woman
handed over the gun. It was loaded with 8 rounds of snake shot,
and 6 rounds had been fired.
McFarland was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
McFarland is being charged with feloniously pointing a firearm, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. His
bond was set at $5,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court
on December 28, 2015.

When a mugger tried to rob her friend, 92-year-old Eileen Mason just
had her mobility scooter – and her no-nonsense attitude.
Eileen and 75-year-old Margaret Seabrook, both from Swindon, Wiltshire, England, were returning home from a lunch club meeting when a
thief appeared from behind a fence and eyed up the contents of Margaret’s basket.
But the robber didn’t know who he was dealing with.
‘Oh no you don’t!’ was Eileen’s battle cry as she accelerated on her
scooter.
The would-be thief ‘went flying’, said Eileen, who has four children, 10
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
‘We went through the war and all the bombings. We won’t let a weasel
like that hold us back.’
Crocs plastic shoes left tread marks that helped link a 22-year-old
Fairbanks man to downtown burglaries, authorities said.
The owner of a building where some break-ins occurred provided surveillance footage to police, who posted it on the department’s Facebook
page. Roland Huntington Grace name was among several mentioned by
tipsters, according to authorities.
According to the court documents, Grace wore Crocs during a police
interview and the shoes matched the tread pattern found at the scene.
Grace faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief in connection with the burglaries reported earlier this month, the Fairbanks Daily
News-Miner newspaper reported.
Online court records don’t have an attorney listed for him. Charging
documents say Grace admitted to the burglaries.
The owner of The Crepery reported on April 1 that someone stole about
$400 from a cash register after breaking into the restaurant. A minister
at the Church of Christ reported April 2 that someone stole about $30
after prying open several locked doors. Another burglary at The Crepery
was reported April 3, with $5 in change taken. A worker at the art gallery
across the hall told responding police that there was a burglary at that
shop as well, and that $1,000 of artists’ jewelry was taken.
According to authorities, two necklaces matching the description of
jewelry taken from the gallery were recovered from Grace.
