MESSED UP MEETING
A 41-year-old Stillwater man with a history of theft
convictions in Utah and a 21-year-old woman he was
allegedly conspiring with, are facing serious charges after a man reported being robbed following a Facebook
meeting.
The suspects, Troy Harvey Dooley and Laney Rose
Hutchison, are both facing two charges related to the
incident.
According to reports, the incident began on March 20
when the victim contacted authorities claiming he had
been robbed after arranging to meet Hutchison, who
used the name “Isabella Rose” on Facebook. The man
said he went to Dooley’s residence to pick Hutchison up.
Once she was in his car, Dooley approached the vehicle and opened the driver’s door.
He then pressed a tan handgun against the victim’s
side.
Hutchison grabbed the man’s phone, and Dooley
forced him to move over before taking control of the car
and driving them out of the trailer park.
Dooley stopped the vehicle and Hutchison climbed into
the driver’s seat and drove the man to his hotel, where he
said he was too afraid to resist, fearing further threats.
Once at the hotel, Hutchison went with the man to his
room and rummaged through his belongings. She allegedly stole his wallet and knives before leaving the room.
The victim saw Dooley and Hutshison leave the area together and then called the police.
Officers showed the man photos of the suspects, and he recognized them as the couple
who robbed him.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Dooley’s residence. They found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and two handguns. One of the guns matched the weapon described by the victim. Dooley and Hutchison were also placed under arrest.
During interviews, Hutchison said the victim solicited her. She allegedly admitted to planning the robbery with Dooley and another person, stating the original intent was to steal the
victim’s money. When he arrived at the location and didn’t have the money with him, she told
Dooley she would take the man to the hotel and get the money.
Dooley is being charged with robbery by two or more persons and unlawful possession of
a controlled drug. His bond was set at $30,000.
Hutchison is being charged with robbery by two or more persons and unlawful possession
of a controlled drug. Her bond was set at $50,000.

OBN INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST FOR
THE TRAFFICKING AND EXPLOITATION OF A
MINOR
On April 17, 2025, an investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) Human Trafficking Unit recovered a missing juvenile who was a
victim of Human Trafficking. OBN Spokesman
Mark Woodward says that investigation uncovered information about additional
victims and their suspected trafficker.
“Upon reviewing the evidence and conducting interviews, it was determined
Derrick Lewis (a.k.a. ‘King’) had direct involvement in not only the commercial
sex trafficking of this missing juvenile but other adult victims as well.” ---OBN
Spokesman Mark Woodward
On June 9, 2025, OBN Human Trafficking Agents obtained an Oklahoma
County warrant for Lewis (DOB 2/25/1999) on the charges of Human Trafficking
of a Minor, Human Trafficking, Maintaining a House of Prostitution, and Child
Exploitation.
On June 10, 2025, OBN Human Trafficking Agents were able to locate Lewis
at a residence in Del City, Oklahoma where he was arrested by OBN and Del City
Police officers without incident.
“Information from this investigation
indicates there may be other victims of
Lewis. We want to let these victims know
they don’t have to be afraid to come forward. Victims can remain anonymous,
and help is available.” ---OBN Director
Donnie Anderson

A Kentucky man known by locals as “Cowboy Cody” was taken
into custody after he allegedly released a raccoon into a crowded
bar on June 7.
According to the authorities, 40-year-old Jonathan Mason of Murray, Kentucky, was arrested after police say he released a raccoon in
a bar, which resulted in one person being bitten.
Officers with the Murray Police Department responded to the business at 9:18 p.m. after receiving
a report of a disturbance. Officers found Mason driving and initiated a traffic stop, but the suspect
allegedly refused to roll his window down or exit the vehicle, which prompted officers to forcibly
remove him.
Authorities later learned that someone had been bitten by the raccoon and that Mason had been
previously warned not to enter the property.
Mason was taken to the Calloway County Jail and charged with the following, according to police:
• Assault
• Criminal trespassing
• Resisting arrest
• Failure of owner to maintain required insurance
•
Mary Hafner, a bartender at the business involved in the incident, spoke to The New York Post,
telling the publication that Mason had apparently “trapped a raccoon earlier in the day on his farm
and he had been carrying it around with him.”
“I’m a bartender, so you know I’ve seen some crazy stuff in my time. But nothing like this,” Hafner
told the publication.
Hafner explained to The Post that Mason lives alone on a farm in the area and has caused trouble
at local bars in the past. She said Mason had already been drinking when he turned up at the bar that
day, and was banned due to a previous incident involving a mule, per the publication.
“I’m no city slicker. I’m a Kentucky girl. I had no problem catching him,” Hafner told The Post. ARRON

PURE EVIL
A Bristow man was sentenced on June 20 for the
brutal murder of his 5-year-old daughter almost five
years ago.
According to U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson, a U.S.
District Judge sentenced Adam Raymond Mason, 34,
for Second Degree Murder in Indian Country. He ordered Mason to serve life imprisonment.
“What Mason did to this 5-year-old little girl was inhumane. There will be no first dances for her. She will
not have the opportunity to attend college or become a
mother herself,” said Johnson. “This was a hard-fought
case for prosecutors and law enforcement. Life imprisonment shows the seriousness of
this crime and ensures public safety.”
“The suffering this innocent child endured at the hands of her own father is completely
incomprehensible. The defendant deserves every second of the sentence imposed, and
more,” said FBI Oklahoma City Special Agent in Charge Doug Goodwater. “The FBI and
our law enforcement partners will use every tool and authority to pursue this kind of evil in
our community. I commend the efforts of the investigators and prosecutors who handled
this case with unwavering dedication. Our thoughts remain with all who loved this child.”
On August 26, 2020, the Creek County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to check on
the well-being of a 5-year-old child. The mother of the child told law enforcement that
their daughter was staying the night with her father, Mason, and that he would not let her
speak with the child. Upon arrival, deputies located the burned body of a child, which
they believed to be the 5-year-old.
Deputies found Mason hiding in the woods nearby and took him into custody. Mason
told law enforcement that he believed the 5-year-old was controlled by witchcraft. Court
records show that Mason punched the child in the head multiple times. Mason took her
to a nearby creek where he placed a tire on top of her, set her on fire, and fled the scene.
Mason is a citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation and will remain in custody pending
transfer to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. JUSTIN

On any given day in America, an average of 63 of our mothers,

But tomorrow’s deaths could be prevented. Give your loved ones

JUST ASK THE
LOCALS
A routine traffic stop in Carney led to the arrest
of a convicted felon and the discovery of drugs
and a firearm on June 6.
Lesson learned? Never speed in Carney…
EVER.
According to the affidavit, a Carney police officer clocked a silver Ford F-150 traveling 60 mph
in a 45 mph zone on State Highway 177. After
initiating a traffic stop near Santa Fe and Highway 177, the vehicle came to a
stop at Porter Road.
The officer questioned the driver, identified as 36-year-old Chavelia Hendley,
36, about the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Hendley denied anyone had been smoking, but admitted there was marijuana in the vehicle after
being advised of the odor.
Hendley did have a valid medical marijuana card.
The officer also made contact with the passenger, identified as 32-year-old
Deon James Anderson.
During the stop, the officer noticed two rounds of ammunition in the vehicle’s
center console. Due to the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, the officer
conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle.
During the search, the officer located a half-smoked marijuana cigarette, a
black container of marijuana, and several cigars in a pink makeup pouch. In
the back seat, he found a female’s purse with a Ruger .380 pistol, as well as
a camouflage backpack containing male clothing, a tool set, two small bags
of marijuana wrapped in pieces of a trash bag, and a Smith & Wesson 9mm
handgun. Anderson claimed ownership of the backpack. He also did not have a
medical marijuana card.
Upon running Anderson’s information, dispatch confirmed he was a convicted
felon out of Payne County.
Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
He is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and
possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction. His bond was set at
$5,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on July 10, 2025.
Hendley was issued a citation for speeding and released from the scene.

FALLINNG DOWN
Charges have yet to be filed in Logan County
District Court against a Guthrie man accused of
firing shots at Guthrie Police officers during a welfare check.
According to Guthrie Police Department, on
June 2, officers responded to a welfare check on
a person on W. Oklahoma. When the first officer
arrived, he heard screaming and glass breaking
from inside the house. After another officer arrived, they knocked on the door
and announced themselves, but then heard several gunshots coming from inside. The officers on the scene didn’t know how many people were in the house
and didn’t know if anyone inside was being shot. They forced entry into the
house by kicking the front door open, but they were immediately met with gunfire, which struck the door they had just kicked open.
The officers backed away from the front door and started giving commands
to the person inside. A man then came out of the front door unarmed, but he
wasn’t following the officers’ orders to lie on the ground.
To keep the person from going back inside, an officer used a less-lethal impact
weapon and fired twice, striking the suspect. The suspect fell to the ground and
was taken into custody without any further trouble.
69-year-old Jody Goad was arrested, and charges will be filed with the DA’s
office after the investigation is complete.
On June 16, the Court found that there was sufficient facts provided to create
doubt as to the competency of Goad, and a determination of competency will
be conducted in August. IRIS
