Cushing man Jeremy Rayshune Lee, 26, was arrested for allegedly sexting a 14-year student at Perkins-Tryon School system.
Lee was employed as a paraprofessional for academic excellence in the school system. He had been
working in that role for three years. The investigation
began on April 24.
At approximately 9:10 a.m., the Perkins-Tryon Middle
School principal contacted a school resource officer and said that “a parent called in and
stated a student was having an inappropriate relationship with a teacher.”
The officer called the student’s father to set up an interview. The father said that his
daughter was always talking about how nice one of the teachers was to her. He said the
teacher’s name was Mr. Lee.
The officer received photos of a Snapchat conversation that allegedly happened between the student and Lee. An interview was conducted with the student. During the
interview, the student denied speaking to the man outside of school.
When investigators showed the student a photo of some of the conversation that
happened between her and Lee, the student verified that the conversation and photos
between her and Lee had occurred on Snapchat.
At 6:50 p.m., investigators went to Cushing High School to speak to Lee, who worked
as a janitor in the evenings. Lee allegedly admitted to sending inappropriate pictures of
himself to the student on Snapchat, amongst other things.
Lee is being charged with engaging in sexual communication with a minor by use of
technology. His bond was set at $10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on

What a crappy thing to do!
A teenager was allegedly toppled over a porta potty at a New Hampshire park May 8 — covering the
mother and 4-year-old daughter inside with filth, according to police.
Aiden Studer, 18, is accused of pushing the john
from behind so that it landed on its door, trapping the
pair inside the disgusting box.
“The pair reported being covered in feces and
bodily fluids,” Manchester police said.
Witnesses told police that Studer had been arguing with the mother near the porta-potty at Derryfield Park until she went inside to assist her daughter. That’s when the
vengeful teen allegedly struck. They weren’t inside for long, however — bystanders
rushed to free the mother-daughter pair.
Studer allegedly ended his tirade by throwing an unknown object at officers who
arrived on the scene. It does not appear as though the teenager knew the mother
before striking.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal restraint and criminal
mischief, as well as simple assault on a police officer.

YOU'RE FIRED
A 41-year-old Drumright man accused of hitting a fire department employee head on and
leaving the scene on March 29 was arrested on
April 1.
According to reports, multiple fire departments were working a grass fire near 161st and
465th, about five miles southeast of Drumright,
when the incident happened. The Olive Volunteer Fire Department assistant fire chief was in a
department vehicle while working the fire. While
he was in the vehicle, he was hit head-on by
another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene through the fire, leaving his injured
passenger at the scene.
Investigators identified Brian Thomas Tate as the suspect.
Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and deputies with Creek
County located and arrested Tate shortly after midnight on April 1.
Tate is a tribal citizen and is being charged in tribal court.
We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.
Thank you and God Bless

• Rule Number Four: K-9’s Can Smell Your Dope
To truly understand the importance of the four basic rules listed above, let’s look at what happened last year
to Anthony Riposta and Aaron Esposito, who not only forgot basic rule number one, but apparently didn’t follow
any of the basic rules and as such, found themselves in jail with the other drug dealers that couldn’t follow the
rules either!!
Not only did they forget the importance of not being a scumbag drug dealer, but they also forgot that if you are
going to be a drug dealer, you better not do dumb stuff like making an illegal turn. As is often the case when you
violate these simple, but yet important rules, the Deputies usually show up, a big giant dog sniffs your vehicle, and
then you get cuffed and stuffed in the back of a patrol car as we seize your illegal drugs!!
In yet another classic example of what happens when you ignore the advice provided in “Drug Dealing For Dummies”, a deputy stopped a vehicle being driven by Riposta and made contact with him and his little friend Esposito.
The deputy then gets a little help from his friends, another deputy and his K-9 deputy partner, who alerts on the
vehicle, and then Riposta and Esposito are soon on their way to jail!!
Located during a search of the vehicle on the dash were three orange pills that were subsequently determined
to be Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine. Also located on the dash was a single broken white pill that field-tested
positive for cocaine, and 35 additional orange pills that were determined to be Amphetamine/Dextroamphetamine.
The pills were contained in a green prescription bottle with the prescribed persons’ name ripped off. The pill bottle
was located in the center console of Riposta’s vehicle, next to two prescription pill bottles with Riposta’s name on
them.
As a result of the vehicle search, Riposta was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Controlled
Substance and given a free ride to jail, where he got some nice, slightly used shower slides and a gift certificate for
a Honey Bun from the inmate commissary!!
Oh and his little friend Esposito…yeah he took the ride too as a lawful search of his person produced four
baggies that were hidden in his underwear that contained a clear crystal substance which field-tested positive
for methamphetamine and weighed a total of 13.7 grams. He also had two baggies containing a white powdery
substance that field-tested positive for fentanyl and weighed a total of 8.9 grams. Additionally, he had three orange
pills that were identified as Buprenorphine/
Naloxone, and five purple pills that were
identified as Alprazolam/Xanax that were
also hidden in his underpants as well!!
Esposito was subsequently placed under arrest for Trafficking in Methamphetamine and two counts of Possession of a
Controlled Substance Without Prescription.
Esposito also got a luxurious package at the
jail when he arrived, that included shower
slides, tailored striped suit, and a thorough
search by our very accommodating staff
since he likes to hide stuff in his undies!!

TROUBLESOME TRIO
Three men from three different counties are facing
felony burglary charges in Lincoln County after they
allegedly stole knives and guns from a residence near
Avery.
Tommy Nathaniel Tilley, 20, of Lincoln County, Printiss Skylar Romine, 23, of Cushing, and Cameron Tyce
Wedin, 23, of Oilton, were charged early last month with
Burglary in the second degree, in Lincoln County District Court.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the trio allegedly broke into a home near Avery/Cushing in Lincoln County on May 1. The victim reported that he had
several items missing from his home, which included
firearms, ammo cans, and other items. He also said the
back door had been opened.
A deputy arrived on scene and began his investigation. The deputy saw a muddy footprint trail leading from
the back of the victim’s home to a nearby residence. As
he was checking for evidence, Tilley pulled up to the
house in a vehicle. After denying any guilt, Tilley finally
fessed up to part of the crime when the deputy found
the victim’s stolen knives in the floorboard of his vehicle.
Tilley’s other two accomplices, Romaine and Wedin,
allegedly fessed to their part of the burglary when the
victim’s missing items were found in their homes in
Cushing and near Oilton. All were taken into custody.
Bond for Tilley, Romine, and Wedin was set at $5000
each.

BIG BROTHER IS
WATCHING YOU
A Guthrie teen and a passenger were taken into
custody after the city’s FLOCK cameras zoned in
on the tag of the vehicle she was driving and notified police that it was stolen.
Jazzmyne Saunders-Walker, 18, was charged
with aggravated attempting to elude an officer, in
Logan County District Court.
As of press time, no charges have been filed
in connection with the allegedly stolen vehicle in
Logan County.
According to GPD, on May 7, around 3:50 a.m.,
Guthrie Patrol Officers were notified of a stolen
vehicle by the city’s FLOCK cameras. The vehicle was reported stolen from Irwin, Texas, on the
5 of May. The FLOCK camera alerted the patrol
officers to the area of Academy and Noble. Once
officers were in the area, they located the stolen
vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
The driver of the vehicle, Saunders-Walker, then
fled the area and led officers on a pursuit which
ended near NW 122nd and
Highway 74. Saunders-Walker, along with the passenger,
Eddie Bryant, were arrested.
Bond for Saunders-Walker was set at $150,000. As of
press time, no charges have been filed against Bryant in
Logan County.
COLD CASE INVESTIGATION
CONTINUES
On the afternoon of Monday November 29, 2021,
while grading a rural Cherokee County dirt road, Cherokee County District 1 employees discovered the body
of a deceased male lying down an embankment below
the roadway and notified the Cherokee County Sheriff’s
Office.
CCSO investigators responded to the area. It appeared the victim had been pushed or thrown off the
roadway down the embankment. The victim came to rest on its right side with its back
against a tree. The victim had been partially concealed in two black trash bags and his
wrists were bound together. The victim was clothed in black ankle socks with white images printed on them, greyish blue sweatpants over black shorts with a nylon drawstring
and a red and black fleece styled zippered jacket. The victim was dark skinned with black
hair and his hair appeared to be cut very close to the skin on the sides and longer than
shoulder length in the back.
An investigator with the Tulsa office of the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene. The ME investigator estimated the victim was placed in the scene during
the late evening hours of Saturday November 27, 2021.
No items of identification such as a wallet, driver’s license or Social Security card were
found with the body. The victim had a tattoo on his right forearm that consisted of five
letters, A Y I A J.
With the help of the tattoo on the victim’s right forearm, the victim was identified as MIGUEL JOSUE ORTEGA, a 27-year-old resident of Decatur, Arkansas. ORTEGA’s cause
and manner of death was determined to be homicide by gunshot.
If you have any information on this homicide, please give me a call at 918-456-2583.
