St. Louis citizens, you asked and we delivered!
We were recently made aware of posts from
citizens in the St.Louis area about criminal activity
increasing in the area. This caught our attention
immediately and Sheriff Booth and his Deputies
sprung into action.
Last week members from the Sheriffs Fugitive
Task Force and evening shift field deputies went
to an address in St. Louis to conduct a warrant
service on Jacob Brauning. You might remember
Brauning from a post a few months ago, where
he had active warrants and was arrested.
Since then, Brauning failed to appear in court
in Pottawatomie, Seminole, Pontotoc, and Pittsburg counties. Brauning had warrants issued for
his arrest out of all four counties. Brauning was
taken into custody last month on these warrants,
after a failed attempt to hide from deputies.
Deputies also located four other individuals at
the house that were taken into custody for warrants. Those individuals were identified as Joel
Sanders of Asher, Sherry Jesse of Konawa, Shae
McGirt of Holdenville, and Scott Gibson of Konawa.
Deputies also located a loaded firearm inside
the residence. Brauning and McGirt were given
additional charges of felon in possession of a firearm, due to previous felony convictions.

THE AWARD FOR “DUMB CRIMINAL OF THE
WEEK!!”’
On February 10, while at one of our Brevard
County Parks, our victims, a female and her
boyfriend, were confronted by Donovan Tyler
Adkins, who was armed with a firearm, and accused the victims of robbing his people!! Really…this guy has people?
As Adkins pretended to talk to someone on
the phone, he forced the female victim into the
woods with the firearm and told the male to
stay put. After taking the female victim deeper into the woods, Adkins kept
the gun pointed at her and ordered her to perform sexual acts on him!!
According to the statement of the victim, with Adkins pointing the gun at
her face, she refused to comply and told Adkins he would have to shoot
her first!! Adkins at this point had exposed himself and the victim began
screaming. The victim’s boyfriend was quickly approaching their location
in the woods which startled the suspect, causing him to trip and thereby
giving the victim a brief opportunity to escape!!
The victim quickly made it back to her boyfriend at which time they were
collecting their belongings when Adkins returned to the area and stole the
victim’s cellphone before fleeing.
Based upon the testimony of the victims, another person in the park
who was familiar with the suspect, and subsequent investigation by our
Agents, Adkins was later positively identified as the perpetrator and was
taken into custody by members of our team.
Adkins was transported to “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” on a “No Bond” status for Robbery With A Firearm, Aggravated Assault With. Deadly Weapon,
False Imprisonment, Sexual Battery, Petit Theft, Possession Of A Firearm
By A Convicted Felon, and Resisting Arrest Without Violence!! Holy crap
this guy has more charges than my wife’s credit card!!
On a positive note he won’t have to look very far for his Valentine on
Tuesday as he is still sitting in the “Iron Bar Lodge” and will have an entire
cell block to pick one from!! Sadly though, I don’t think we offer those big
candy hearts in the jail commissary so I’m guessing a honey bun will have
to suffice!!

March is National Youth Violence
Prevention Month
The National Association of Students
Against Violence Everywhere is a nonprofit
aiming to provide safer environments for
our youth. Its mission is to decrease the
potential for violence in our schools and
communities by promoting meaningful student involvement, education and service
opportunities.
SAVE’s Vision: Schools and communities will be safer and more secure, free of
fear and conducive to learning as a result of
students being actively involved in meaningful violence prevention efforts.
How It Got Started: SAVE was started by students in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989 after the tragic death of a classmate who was trying to break up a
fight at an off-campus party. A group of students who did not want this death
to be “just another statistic” took action and created a violence prevention
program.
Chapters: SAVE has evolved into a national association with chapters in
elementary, middle and high schools as well as at colleges and community organizations across the country. Today, there are more than 200,000 students
involved nationwide.
Activities: Student members take the lead in planning chapter activities by
using the three SAVE Essential Elements: conducting crime prevention activities, conducting conflict management activities and providing meaningful service through projects in schools and communities. SAVE chapters also plan
safety rallies and safety awareness campaigns, engage in peer mentoring to
younger students, and conduct fun and educational meetings.

Brian Walshe is a ‘dumb as dirt’ alleged criminal:

Alleged wife-murderer Brian Walshe is up a creek
without a paddle after his arraignment, legal experts say
— and his situation will only get worse if authorities find
the body of his missing spouse, Ana.
Walshe, 47, is accused of murdering his wife, who
went missing on New Year’s Day, and prosecutors presented a slew of damning evidence at his arraignment.
“If these allegations are true, it’s stunning how
dumb as dirt this guy appears to be,” Mark Bederow,
a high-profile criminal defense attorney, told The Post.
“It’s unbelievable.”
Bederow, a former prosecutor for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, said Walshe’s internet searches
will not only be used as evidence of his alleged crime but
might work against his ability to blame mental health issues.
“His internet searches — as sick as they may be — are rational in a cogent thought
type of way,” the lawyer said. “There appears to be a lot of planning and it appears to
be well thought out.”
Prosecutors revealed the dad of three used his son’s iPad to google “how to stop a
body from decomposing,” “how long before a body starts to smell,” “hacksaw best tool
to dismember” and “can you identify a body with broken teeth?”
Police have yet to locate the body of Ana, 39, a real estate manager who lived with
Brian and their kids in Cohasset, Mass., but worked in Washington, DC.
“Without the body, [the case] is not a slam-dunk case for the prosecution,” former
New York prosecutor and current criminal defense attorney Duncan Levin said. “If they
find her body, the case will obviously become much more difficult for the defense to have
a fighting chance.”
Levin explained that even though the prosecution’s argument looks strong, the case is
still young, and all the evidence gathered by authorities is “subject to attack.”
“It’s too early to tell what holes there may be in any of the evidence,” he said. “Obviously from what we know, there is an extremely strong circumstantial case against Brian
Walshe.
“You could not have planned a worse murder if you tried,” Levin added, saying Walshe
appeared to have “bungled every aspect of this from beginning to end.”
He also suggested the defense might try to move the trial outside Cohasset, which is
home to less than 10,000 people, because of how much attention the case has received.
“On the flip side, the pre-trial publicity in this case has been so significant that a judge
may well find that there would not be any less publicity in a different area of the state,”
he said.
Prosecutors said Wednesday that during Walshe’s previously reported trip to Home
Depot to buy $450 of cleaning supplies with cash, his purchases included a Tyvek body
suit, mops and baking soda.
Worse, a man in a Volvo matching Brian’s description was caught on surveillance
footage lugging heavy trash bags into dumpsters.
When searching through trash bags originally dumped at Walshe’s mother’s home,
police found a hatchet, blood, hacksaw, trash bags, used cleaning supplies and a rug.
They also found a Prada purse and Hunter boots matching what Ana was believed to be
wearing when last seen, along with a COVID-19 vaccination card in her name, the Tyvek
suit her husband had purchased, towels and tape, prosecutors revealed.

An inmate at the Seminole County Detention Center is facing an assault charge after he allegedly hit a
detention officer in the face.
According to the affidavit, 46-year-old Josea Anibal Ramos, Jr., was booked into the jail on February
13 at approximately 2:30 p.m. on a judge’s order. The
man was uncooperative with the detention officer, and when he was told he was going
to cell 47, he told the officer that his slides were damaged. He said he wasn’t going in
the cell until he got some new slides.
The detention officer told the man to go into the cell several more times, but each
time, the man refused. The detention officer finally told the man that he could go into
the cell, or the officer was going to make him go.
Ramos asked him, “Is that right?”
The detention officer said he took a step forward, and Ramos hit him in the face,
busting his lip. The blow startled him, so the officer took a step back.
Ramos sprang forward and punched the officer in his face and head. The detention
officer kept stepping back, trying to get his bearing and to call for assistance. Ramos
then punched the officer’s nose, causing it to bleed.
Ramos is being charged with battery/assault and battery on a detention officer. His
bond was set at $10,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on April 6, 2023.

A 39-year-old Ada man with an outstanding
warrant was placed under arrest after leading officers on a high-speed chase on January 27.
Gary Wayne Underwood had an outstanding warrant through the Chickasaw Nation Tribal
Court, but he still couldn’t act right!
According to reports, an Ada police officer tried to stop the man on North
Country Road. Underwood didn’t stop. Instead, he took off, driving north of Ada.
The chase continued on to Konawa before the man headed back to Ada. The
pursuit eventually came to an end when Ada officers and Chickasaw Lighthorse
police blocked the man’s vehicle on a dead-end road, not far from Sandy Creek
Drive.
Underwood did try to run away on foot, but he was soon captured by officers.
Underwood was hiding in an abandoned vehicle on Sandy Creek Drive.
Officers found in his possession a bolt action rifle, a shotgun, two handguns
(one of which came back stolen), gun parts/slide, a dash cam, two game cameras, a video camera, four cell phones, twenty-four unused syringes, three loaded syringes containing a crystalized substance, five metal spoons covered in
a crystalized substance, a Triton scale, a Weight Max scale, 96 clear baggies,
three separate bags containing a white crystalized substance, 20 rounds of .223
ammunition, 15 rounds of .410 ammunition, 46 rounds of 45 auto ammunition,
50 rounds of 9mm ammunition, one round of .380 ammunition, nine SD cards,
a chrome book, and a Whistler Scanner which was direct-wired to the vehicle.
Underwood is being charged with eluding an officer, possession of stolen
property, possession of a firearm by a prohibited possessor, and possession of
a controlled dangerous substance. He is scheduled to appear in court on March
1, 2023.
