Police say they arrested a Mercedes-driving Comanche woman after she allegedly
stole cans of beer from a local convenience
store.
On April 8, a Comanche officer was dispatched to the store in the 100 block of S.
Rodeo Drive, the affidavit states.
A store employee told the officer that a
woman driving a Mercedes had taken some
cans of brew from the store without paying.
He added that the suspect had left four cans
of beer in a chip rack next to the restrooms.
Police apprehended the Mercedes at a residence in the 300 block
of N. Rodeo.
The SUV’s engine was running and the driver’s side door was open.
An officer looked inside the vehicle and saw three silver cans in a bag
in the passenger seat.
Police made contact with the driver, 32-year-old Erica Kate HuntHardee, and asked her if she had been to the store.
She told them, “No, not today.”
An officer asked her about the beers in the vehicle, and she told
them she bought them the day before. He removed the cans from the
bag and found that they were ice cold.
The officer went back to the store and reviewed the business’s security footage. The video showed Hunt-Hardee walk to the restroom
carrying three cans of beer and emerge with no cans.
She started to walk back toward the restroom carrying four more
cans when a store employee stopped her and told her she couldn’t
take cans to the bathroom.
The video then showed Hunt-Hardee put the cans on the chip rack
and leave the store.
Hunt-Hardee is being charged with petit larceny. Her bond was set
at $5,000 and she is scheduled to appear in court on June 6, 2014.

A Duncan woman was taken to jail after a deputy caught
her driving without wearing her seatbelt, among other
things.
On April 15, a Stephens County deputy was traveling east
on Elm in Duncan when he saw a white vehicle traveling
west with three occupants.
According to the affidavit, he noticed that the driver was
not wearing a seatbelt.
He conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the
driver, identified as Jamie Michelle Brown, 31.
He asked for the occupants’ information, and another
deputy checked driver’s license information and warrant
checks on all three individuals.
While waiting for the returns, the deputy deployed his K9
to conduct a free air sniff around the vehicle. The dog alerted several times while walking around Brown’s car.
The deputy went back to the vehicle and conducted a pat-down search of the male passenger. The other passenger was also asked to exit the vehicle.
Police searched the car and found a baggy of what appeared to be marijuana sitting on the
driver’s seat. No other illegal items were found.
A deputy placed Brown under arrest for the weed. As he spoke with her, he noticed that she
had slurred speech and could not stay still. She denied consuming any alcohol, medications
or illegal narcotics that day.
The deputy removed the handcuffs from Brown to administer standard field sobriety tests.
After she failed the tests, the deputy transported her to jail.
Brown’s passengers were released.
Before she was taken into the jail, police warned her that she should tell them if she had
anything illegal on her. She said she didn’t, but during booking, jail staff found 14 small baggies containing a white crystal substance and $1,000 cash on Brown’s person.
The crystal substance later tested positive for meth.
Brown is being charged with possession with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating substance. She is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear
in court on June 6, 2014.

A word of advice: it's probably best
to make sure you're sober before you
go to the police station.
A Duncan woman who arrived at the
police department intoxicated found
herself being driven to jail after an officer found drugs in her purse.
According to the affidavit, Tenna Rae
Pollock, 49, went to the Duncan Police
Department on April 7 to retrieve a release form for her vehicle. An officer
asked for her driver's license and proof
of ownership for the vehicle. She handed him her passport.
Right after he gave the passport back
to her, she told him she didn't know where her passport was. As she
searched for the passport, she was moving uncontrollably.
The officer asked her if she had recently consumed any alcoholic
beverages; she told him she didn't drink alcohol.
Due to her bizarre behavior, he asked her to go to an investigative
room for standard field sobriety tests. During the tests, Pollock talked
excessively, had nervous twitches and was unsteady on her feet. The
officer also had to give her directions for tests multiple times.
Because of her not-so-sober actions, the officer placed her under
arrest. After putting her in his patrol vehicle, he searched her purse
and found a plastic bag containing a clear crystal-like substance that
tested positive for meth.
He transported her to the Stephens County Jail.
Pollock probably won't be getting her vehicle back any time soon.
Pollock is being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous
substance after former conviction of a felony and public intoxication.
Her bond was set at $25,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court
on May 21, 2014.

Tulsa Police arrested a 20-year-old man for a rape that they
say was filmed on a cell phone. Willie Donnell Jackson is being
held in lieu of a $75,000 bond on complaints of first degree
rape and rape by instrumentation.
Police say the victim went to her boyfriend’s apartment in
the 4800 block of South Darlington, agreeing to have sex with
him and another man. She drank about seven shots of alcohol
and smoked marijuana with them, an arrest and booking report
states.
“The victim stated at some point and time she passed out losing consciousness,”
the report states.
Police showed the woman cell phone video of Jackson having sex with her, and
the officer said the victim was shocked and very emotional, saying several times
that she did not give consent to having sex with Jackson.
She believed the marijuana cigarette had been laced with something because
“she did not remember a thing” that she saw on the video.
“The victim at the time of the sexual intercourse was unconscious of the nature
of the act,” the arresting officer said.
Police say Jackson would have been aware of her state because the men were
“physically moving her body into positions as well as turning her over onto her
back and stomach, and she appeared to be like a rag doll.”

A drunken Chickasha man who referred to an officer as "Bubba" was arrested April 6 after he admitted to consuming a few drinks before driving.
According to the police report, a
Chickasha officer was on patrol in
the 2200 block of W. Georgia Avenue
when he saw a truck drive in reverse
for several feet.
When the officer approached the
vehicle, the driver placed the truck
into drive and accelerated. The officer
activated his lights, and the driver increased his speed before coming to a
stop a few blocks later.
The officer made contact with the driver, Philip Tyler Wilson, 29,
and noticed that he had slurred speech and delayed reactions. The officer asked Wilson if he had consumed any alcoholic beverages; Wilson admitted to drinking "a few."
There was a female passenger in the truck, and the officer allowed
her to call someone to pick her up. When she exited the vehicle, he
noticed an open can of beer in the truck.
During sobriety tests, it appeared as though Wilson was struggling
to stay awake. He seemed to have a hard time following instructions
and kept swaying from side to side and front to back.
The officer ended the tests for Wilson's safety and transported him
to jail.
At the police station, Wilson refused to take the breath test by telling the officer, "I'm going to have to pass, Bubba."
Unfortunately for Wilson, the redneck term of endearment didn't
help him stay out of jail.
He is being charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the
influence of alcohol and transporting an opened container of beer.
He was released on a $3,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in
court on May 6, 2014.

Tremane Wood
Tremane Wood was convicted of
stabbing a 19-year-old Montana man
to death in a motel room on New
Year’s Day 2002.
Prosecutors alleged that Wood
and his brother, Zjaiton Wood, 34,
robbed Ronald Wipf, 31, and another
Montana man, Arnold Jonathan
Kleinsasser, before the stabbing.
Zjaiton Wood was sentenced to life
in prison without parole and an
additional 120 years for the robbery
and killing.
Wipf and Kleinsasser were working on a harvesting crew at a
farm in Chickasha. The two men were members of the Hutterites
of the Riverview Colony, a religious sect in Montana, and had
returned to Oklahoma after spending the holidays with their
families.
Prosecutors alleged that Kleinsasser and Wipf met two women,
Lanita Sue Bateman and Brandy Lynn Warden, at a restaurant
on New Year’s Eve 2001 and that they off ered to have sex with
the pair for $210. But prosecutors alleged that the women were
setting the men up to be robbed.
Bateman, 29, was sentenced to life in prison plus 101 years
for her role in the crime. Warden, 30, pleaded guilty to a lesser
charge and testifi ed against Bateman in exchange for a 45-year
prison sentence.

A Chickasha woman who confessed being scared of police had
good reason to be frightened after
officers caught her driving under the
influence on April 5.
According to the affidavit, a Chickasha officer met with a woman who
told him that Angela Faye Brock, 41,
had stolen clothes from her residence.
She said she knew where Brock was
and led the officer to a residence in
the 800 block of W. Iowa Avenue.
While attempting to make contact with Brock at the residence, the
reporting party told the officer that
Brock was driving southbound on
Eighth Street. The officer saw Brock driving an SUV and motioned
for her to pull over.
Instead of pulling over, Brock accelerated, tires squealing. Brock's
passenger waved at the officer as they sped away.
Another officer detained Brock in the 600 block of S. Ninth Street.
The passenger told the officer that she saw him pointing at them,
but Brock wouldn't stop. She said she even tried to jump out of the
vehicle since her fast-driving friend wouldn't pull over.
Brock agreed to speak with an officer, and she told him that police
scare her and that's why she was trying to get away.
While speaking with Brock, the officer noticed that her pupils were
dilated she her speech was rapid. He suspected that she might be
under the influence of an intoxicating substance, and he asked her
when she last used.
Brock admitted to smoking meth the night before.
Brock is being charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the
influence of drugs. She was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled
to appear in court on May 2, 2014.

A Chickasha man was taken to jail after he fought with one
nephew and helped another one of his nephews get drunk.
According to the affidavit, a Chickasha officer was dispatched to a local motel April 9 in reference to a fight between
occupants staying in nearby rooms.
He made contact with Tadd Shane Riley, 28, and asked him
what was going on.
Riley told him that his nephew had hit his (the nephew's)
girlfriend and was chasing her around the parking lot.
As the officer spoke to Riley, he noticed that his eyes were
red and watery and he smelled of alcohol. Riley was also unsteady on his feet and kept swaying back and forth.
The officer went to Riley's nephew's room, and spoke with
the nephew and his girlfriend. The nephew admitted to fighting with his uncle. Both he and his girlfriend said it was because Riley kept flirting with the girlfriend.
They both said that they hadn't been fighting, and the only altercation had involved Riley.
The nephew told the officer he just wanted to go to his room and let it go. The officer told
them to stay inside and to leave Riley alone.
The officer again made contact with Riley and told him to go back to his room and leave
the others alone. He argued with the officer and told him again that his nephew had hit his
girlfriend. Although the officer told him he had talked to her and everything was OK, Riley
refused to go inside his room.
The officer warned him that he would be arrested if he didn't comply, but Riley continued
to argue and his voice became louder.
As the officer placed Riley in the patrol car, Riley told him that his 14-year-old nephew was
staying with him and was in his room. In the room, police were met with an overwhelming
stench of alcohol and vomit, and they found the minor hunched over the toilet in the bathroom.
He told them he was sick and eventually admitted to consuming alcohol.
Riley is being charged with contributing to the delinquency of minors and public intoxication. He was released on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 2, 2014.
