LIBERAL, Kan. — Police have arrested a suspect after the stabbing death of a Liberal man early Sunday morning.
According to the Liberal Police Department, a man with multiple stab wounds, covered in blood, was pronounced dead at the scene on the block of S. Roosevelt, around First and Second Streets. The 59-year-old man’s name has yet to be released.
The person who allegedly committed the murder was located by police at the scene and taken into custody. LPD plans to ask the Seward County Attorney’s Office to file charges of criminal threat and first-degree murder against the suspect.
