SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY AFTER FIRST HOMICIDE OF THE YEAR IN TULSA

TULSA, Okla. – Two suspects are now in custody after they are suspected to be involved with the first homicide of the year in Tulsa.
On Tuesday, January 4, police found Sarah Maguire, 29, dead inside her home from what appears to be blunt force trauma. Police also noticed that her car and other belongings appeared to be missing. (Ktul)
Maguire’s vehicle was later found in Fayetteville, Arkansas, when Fayetteville police received a call from a Whataburger, stating that there may have been a sighting of the victim’s car. Tulsa Police also verified that Maguire’s credit card was used at the same Whataburger. (Krmg)
Brinlee Denison, 23, and Nicholas Johnson, 25, were found sitting in the victim’s car and taken into custody.
Neither suspect has been convicted, and detectives are in the process of having both Denison and Johnson extradited to Tulsa. Where they will recommend 1st-degree murder charges for both suspects. (Tulsa Police Department)
