CROCKETT, Texas – Rebecca Taylor, 49, has been arrested for allegedly trying to purchase another woman’s baby while waiting in the checkout line at Walmart.
The mother of the child told police, that Taylor was making comments about her child, and that she liked his blue eyes and blonde hair, and then proceeded to ask how much he costs. (NY Post).
The mother took it as a joke, but then Taylor told her how she had $250,000 outside in her car. After this, is when the mother reached out to local authorities.
The mother also remembered seeing another woman with Taylor at some point, so she waited inside the Walmart with her children until they had left the store.
But when the mother finally went outside, the two were still out there and now offered $500,000 for the child. The mother still refused, and Taylor and the other woman eventually took off.
Taylor was charged with the sale or purchase of a child and has already been released on a $50,000 bond. (KSAT).
