TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO GUNS AND DRUG TRAFFICKING ARREST

TULSA, Okla. — After a traffic stop, two people have been arrested for possession of drugs and guns.

Around 9:40 p.m. on April 22nd, Tulsa P.D., and Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officers pulled over a white Chrysler driving with a broken headlight near 1st and South Peoria.

Lonnie Stark was driving and showing signs of being impaired. Riding shotgun was Jayden Tracy who during the stop began acting erratic and throwing things out of the car.

When Officers searched the car, they found over $2,200 in drug money proceeds, about 70 grams of methamphetamine in multiple bags, and two firearms. In the trunk, Officers also found several precursor items used for making narcotics and 24 ounces of liquid in a mason jar that was field tested positive for meth.

Both Lonnie and Jayden were arrested for possession of firearms and multiple drug possession charges, including trafficking. Since Oklahoma has a drug “tax stamp” they were also charged for not paying taxes on their illegal drugs.
