TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa man Peter Don Gotcher is facing a felony charge after he was caught with more than 100 pictures and videos of children being sexually abused.
Some of the children were as young as 2 or 3 years old.
According to reports, a cyber tip was flagged, and Google reported the tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on January 17.
Since Gotcher lives in Tulsa County, the information was then forwarded to investigators in Oklahoma.
The cyber tip allegedly showed a menu featuring individual pictures of young girls being raped that people could purchase.
A search warrant was executed at Gotcher’s home on February 24.
When investigators went to the man’s residence, he told them that his Google account must have been hacked.
He said he just wanted to get it all cleared up.
While at the man’s home, officers seized three cellphones, a laptop and a flash drive. The flash drive had two files on it. The files were named Download and Videos.
Gotcher is being charged with aggravated possession of child pornography. His bond was set at $50,000, and he was scheduled to appear in court on March 6, 2021.
