Tulsa man shot in the head through neighbor’s wall

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa police responded to a call involving a shooting at Lakeside Place Apartments located in east Tulsa.

Authorities found that an altercation between Corry Lykes and Tia Norwood occurred. The altercation allegedly included gunfire.

Through further investigation, Tulsa PD found that a bullet traveled through the apartment’s wall and into a neighbor’s home, hitting a man in his 20s in the head.

Tulsa police do not expect the victim to survive.

Norwood had initially fled the scene, but Tulsa officers worked diligently to locate her.

Lykes and Norwood were arrested for 1st Degree Manslaughter and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm. (Tulsa Police Department’s Facebook Page)
