TWO-TIME UFC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ARRESTED

SAN JOSE, Calif.- Cain Velasquez, a former MMA wrestler, has been arrested for attempted murder. 

San Jose Police responded to the scene of a shooting Monday afternoon where one adult male was shot. (Kron4). Velasquez was suspected to be the shooter and was taken into custody at the time. 

Tuesday morning it was revealed that the man Velasquez was aiming at was actually Harry Goularte who had just been charged with molesting a family member of Velasquez. 

Instead, Goularte’s stepdad was shot. (NYpost). The victim of the shooting is expected to survive, and Velasquez has been charged with attempted murder. He is currently being held, with no bail.
