Woman fires shots at boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend and ex’s mother at a Florida gentleman’s club

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man and a woman after a shooting was reported at a Clearwater gentleman’s club.

Alycia Ruiz, 21, and Anthony Bates, 30, were at Diamond Dolls gentleman’s club in the early morning hours of May 7th.

Bates and his girlfriend Ruiz were suddenly confronted by Bates’s ex-girlfriend, Tayler Bibb, and her mom Melissa Bibb inside the Gentleman’s club.

Things took a turn for those at Diamond Dolls that night once Tayler began chatting with her ex Bates. An argument reportedly broke out between Bates’s current girlfriend and his ex.

Diamond Dolls security attempted to remove them from the building, but that backfired when a large gathering built up in the parking lot.

Ruiz allegedly pulled out a gun on Tayler and Melissa and shot two rounds.

Authorities say that fragments ended up hitting both Bates’s ex-girlfriend Tayler and her mother, Melissa.

Ruiz and Bates managed to drive away from the scene before police arrived. However, their freedom was short-lived as deputies were able to locate them near Pinellas Park in the Wawa parking lot.

The victims were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Both Ruiz and Bates were arrested.

Ruiz was charged with one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Bates faces one count of accessory to aggravated battery and a charge that is unrelated to the case. (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
