YUKON MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO COMPUTER ACCESS FRAUD
IN CONNECTION WITH SCHEME TO MISREPRESENT FAA
MECHANIC CERTIFICATION TO LOCAL AVIATION COMPANY
Gordon Bellamy, Jr., 42, of Yukon, pleaded
guilty in October to computer access fraud,
announced U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.
On August 17, 2022, a federal grand jury
returned a three-count indictment against
Bellamy for alleged offenses while he was
employed by Ally Aerospace Services as a
contractor for AAR Corporation. The Indictment alleged that Bellamy worked as an aircraft maintenance mechanic at the Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City and that
he supervised mechanic crews responsible
for removing and reattaching panels as part
of the maintenance of commercial aircraft.
Under Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”)
regulations, supervising employees must be certified Airframe and 7owerplant mechanics. According to the Indictment, in October of 2018, Bellamy
illegally accessed an FAA database that contained records of all Airframe and
7owerplant mechanic»s certificates, obtained a certificate belonging to another licensed mechanic, and falsely presented it to his employer as his own.
Count 1 charged Bellamy with wire fraud, and Count 2 charged him with
computer access fraud. Count 3 alleged Bellamy committed aggravated
identity theft.
On October 3, 2022, Bellamy pleaded guilty to computer access fraud before U.S. District Judge Jodi W. Dishman. As part of the plea hearing, Bellamy admitted that he intentionally accessed an FAA computer and obtained information from the FAA in furtherance of his scheme to defraud his employer,
by misrepresenting himself as a certified Airframe and 7owerplant mechanic.
At sentencing, Bellamy will face up to five years» imprisonment and a fine of
$250,000, followed by up to three years of supervised release. As part of the
plea agreement, the government has agreed to dismiss at sentencing the remaining counts of the indictment. A sentencing date will be set by the court.
Bellamy has been in federal custody since his arrest on August 23, 2022.

LAND OF THE LOST
Sayre man 3inhui @ang, 41, allegedly fired a
gun at a landowner after trespassing onto the
man’s land on October 15.
According to reports, Beckham County
deputies were dispatched to the area after
the reporting party said there was a trespasser on the land. The reporting party also
claimed that he himself had a gun.
The caller was later identified as @ang.
When deputies arrived at the location, they
found Yang and another man. The other man
told them that he was the landowner and was
the license holder for the marijuana grow operation that was on the land. He also said that
Yang owed him $30,000.
He explained to the deputies that he was in the area to feed some dogs
on the property that were starving. Yang confronted him and pointed a gun
at him. When the man asked Yang why he was pointing the gun at him, he
replied, “To kill you.”
The man said when he started to walk away, he heard three shots fired, so
he took off running. /e also heard @ang say that he was calling 911.
When deputies asked Yang about the allegations, he admitted to having the
AR-style riÅe, but he initially said he didn»t shoot at the victim. /e claimed he
just fired some warning shots at the ground.
Deputies found a wooden post near where the victim said he was walking
that had bullet holes in it. Yang also changed his story multiple times in reference to the direction he shot the gun.
Yang is being charged with shooting with intent to kill. His bond was set
at $50,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on November 14, 2022.

A 47-year old Clinton man is facing a sexual
battery charge after he allegedly assaulted a teen
at his home in July.
According to reports, Michael Lee Bryant offered a 16-year-old male a job in construction.
This job included a truck.
The victim said he and Bryant went to the lake
and rode jet skis. They later went to Bryant’s
home.
Bryant told the victim to stay the night since
they needed to wake up early the next morning to
work. Bryant also insisted that they share a bed
while sleeping. He told the victim that the couch
was uncomfortable.
The victim said he fell asleep and woke up to Bryant rubbing on his
pants. He also realized that his pants were unzipped.
Bryant is being charged with sexual battery after the former conviction
of two or more felonies. His bond was set at $25,000, and he is scheduled
to appear in court on November 18, 2022.

A Florida man was arrested after allegedly storming
the field and attacking a 9-year-old boy during football
practice.
Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David
Alan Taylor, 41, last month in Pensacola.
Deputies said that Taylor’s son was taking part in
one-on-one tackling practice with another player, when
Taylor’s son was overpowered and started crying.
That’s when witnesses said Taylor ran out on the field,
put a helmet on his head, got into a football stance and
then charged the victim, intentionally hitting the boy in
the chest with the helmet.
Deputies said Taylor then grabbed the victim by the arms and pushed
him to the ground.
Witnesses said the boy was crying, but was not seriously hurt and did
not require medical attention.
Deputies said Taylor then yelled, cursed and approached the coaching
staff in an aggressive manner before he was finally stopped.
Taylor was arrested and booked into the Escambia County jail. He was
charged with aggravated child abuse and disorderly conduct, and has
since bonded out of jail.

On October 6, Special Agents from the Oklahoma
State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), assisted by deputies from the Washita County Sheriffs Office and officers
from the Cordell Police Department, served a search
warrant in the 800 block of East 9th Street in Cordell.
As a result of the search warrant, Carl Herlinger, 43, was
arrested and faces multiple child pornography charges.
The case originated when the National Center for
Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded
a cyber tip they received from an Electronic Service
Provider (ESP) to the OSBI. The OSBI Internet Crimes
Against Children (ICAC) Unit opened an investigation
upon receiving the tip. Based on the investigation, Herlinger was arrested today, without incident, and booked
into the Washita County Jail.
Herlinger is charged with the following:
* Possession of Child Pornography
* Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crime Act.
If you suspect a child is being sexually exploited, contact the National Center
for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST or www.cybertipline.com.

An El Paso, Texas, man busted into a church and absconded with the safe. Safes
are heavy, so he only got a few yards before dropping it on a neighbor’s lawn, where
he tried to crack it open. That’s when he was confronted by the home’s occupant—a
police offi cer.
Is there no honor among thieves? While two suspects were being questioned by
Ogden, Utah, police about shoplifting from a store, someone broke into their car and
stole a stereo and several other items.
How convenient! Only a few months earlier, a man from Iowa City, Iowa had his driver’s license stolen. Then who should show up at the bar where he worked as a bouncer,
but the thief brandishing the bouncer’s very own license as his form of ID.
Anthony Kenneth Mastrogiovanni was impersonating a police offi cer when he pulled
over another car for speeding. The driver quickly sussed out that Mastrogiovanni was
fi bbing since he, too, was a cop, but in his case, the kind of cop who doesn’t have to
pretend he’s a cop because he really is a cop. Mastrogiovanni was arrested for impersonating a police offi cer.
A San Francisco thief pedaled his bike up to a woman on the sidewalk, snatched
the iPhone out of her hands, and rode away. Unknown to him, the woman was in the
middle of demonstrating the iPhone’s new GPS tracking device, which worked—the
thief was captured minutes later.
Following a dispute, Craig Aylesworth, of Bithlo, Florida, allegedly tossed a Molotov
Cocktail at his neighbor’s trailer home … just as the winds shifted, sending embers on
to his own trailer. Luckily, he was arrested, since he no longer had a home of his own
to return to.
Callie Rough of Middletown, Ohio, was picked up for shoplifting from a Dollar General
store with her two young children in tow. Among the booty was a book, 101 Ways to
Be a Great Mom.
Don’t you hate it when you suff er a heart attack and think you’re going to die, so you
confess to a 17-year-old murder, only to fi nd out you’re not going to die and then get
sentenced to life in prison as a result? Yeah, so does James Washington, of Nashville,
because it happened to him.
Clive Halford thinks big! The British career criminal stole a truck and loaded it with
18 pallets of stolen nickel and copper worth around £150,000 (about $250,000). Yes,
the haul was huge—too huge. Cops arrested Halford after the truck’s suspension collapsed under the weight. Earlier, Halford had stolen a car, overloaded it, and broken its
suspension too.

Troester. Federal law prohibits those under felony indictment from receiving firearms and ammunition. On June 8, 2022, a federal grand jury returned a three-count Second Superseding Indictment against Kays. Count 1 charged him with illegal receipt of a firearm and alleged that on or about August 15, 2021, Kays received a Glock .45 caliber pistol while under indictment for the felony offense of Burglary in the First Degree, charged in Blaine County District Court case number CF-2021-52. Counts 2 and 3 charged him with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. On November 1, 2022, at a plea hearing before Chief U.S. District Judge Timothy DeGiusti, Kays pled guilty to Count 1. Kays admitted that he willfully received a firearm on August 15, 2021 and received the firearm knowing that he was under a pending indictment for a felony offense. The government agreed to dismiss Counts 2 and 3 at sentencing. At sentencing, Kays faces up to 5 years in prison, up to a $250,000 fine, and up to three years of supervised release.
