SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN
Members of the Canadian County Sheriff’s
Office arrested Isaiah Taylor, 26, of Yukon on
Tuesday, October 17, for aggravated possession of child pornography. Taylor shared child
pornography with an undercover investigator
affiliated with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce. Canadian County Sheriff’s Office worked this case when it was discovered Taylor was sharing child pornography
from his residence in Yukon, OK in Canadian
County.
Once the case arrived, Deputies obtained
a search warrant for Taylor’s internet provider
and confirmed he did live in Yukon, Oklahoma.
Deputies quickly obtained another search warrant for his residence for
electronic devices that could contain child pornography.
On Tuesday, October 17, Deputies executed the search warrant at Taylor’s residence. Investigators interviewed Taylor once the residence was
secure. Taylor told investigators he did download child pornography because he was sexually attracted to children. Sheriff’s deputies began conducting forensic examinations in the house and found Taylor’s main computer containing over 100 images and videos of child pornography.
“The images and videos Isaiah Taylor had were just evil. The images and
videos showed defenseless children being raped, he even told my investigators he fantasized having sex with children,” said Chris West Canadian
County Sheriff.
Investigators collected numerous photographs, videos and records
where Taylor was in possession and trading child pornography with internet users. The images and videos included children young as toddlers being sexually abused. Taylor also admitted to investigators he liked to draw
cartoons where he would have sex with young female children. These
contraband images and videos were taken into evidence.
“Taylor is a predator that was itching to live out his evil fantasy to rape a
child. He not only downloaded and shared these contraband videos and
images, he also drew cartoons of himself wanting to have sex with children. Taylor is where he needs to be, in my detention facility,” said Chris
West.
Investigators seized multiple electronic devices from the home for examination, and then transported Taylor to the Canadian County Jail, where
he was booked on one count of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography. His bond was established at fifty thousand dollars, and he remains
in Custody.
The Sheriff’s Internet Crimes against Children unit continues to operate
under the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations ICAC Task Force.

A man wanting to stay sober volunteered to serve part of his friend’s one-month
drunk-driving sentence. The 51-year-old Swede wanted to see if he could pose as
his friend and fool the justice system, but he was discovered two weeks into the
sentence. The man said, “I wanted to go to jail to stop myself from drinking for a few
weeks. My pal didn’t think it would work. He agreed to let me try. I borrowed his ID
card and identified myself as him at the prison.” He has since been charged with perjury and wrongful use of another person’s identity.
A Golden Gate Estates man couldn’t fool anybody when he tried to get his vehicle
registration renewed with a fake license, Collier sheriff’s deputies said. Marcial Montes-Lopez, 29, of the 1100 block of 21st Street Southwest, used a driver’s license
described in an arrest report as “obviously fake because of the cartoonish photo and
vibrant colors,” deputies wrote in an arrest report. He faces a single charge of possessing a counterfeit driver’s license. Montes-Lopez was trying to renew his registration at a Collier County Tax Collector’s office in Golden Gate when employees spotted
the fake ID, deputies said. The license number on the ID was issued to Montes-Lopez
but expired in July 2010, the report said.
A man facing drug trafficking charges made a strong first impression at his court
appearance in Broward County when he showed up wearing a “crack shirt.” The shirt
included instructions for making crack cocaine.
Chilean doctors say a 266 pound man who was shot in the stomach was saved
by his rolls of fat. They say the bullet lodged in the man’s fat and did not damage
any vital organs. A thinner person would have been killed immediately. A hospital
spokesperson in Santiago says the man’s thick layer of fat acted in the same way as
a bulletproof vest, taking the impact of the shot. La Cuarta newspaper reports Omar
Alegria Campos, who’s 33, was driving his bus in the San Bernardo area of Santiago
when an armed man got on and started robbing passengers. Alegria stopped the bus
and switched on his emergency lights to alert the police. He then tried to grab the
man’s weapon. The attacker fired twice. The first bullet smashed the windscreen and
the second lodged in the bus driver’s stomach. Despite the wound, Alegria managed
to throw himself on top of the robber, stopping him from escaping. A passing police
patrol arrested the 29-year-old attacker. They also took Alegria to El Pino Hospital,
where doctors extracted the bullet and sewed up the wound.
Two northern Arizona parents were arrested after photos of their young children
allegedly being abused were posted on Facebook. An anonymous Facebook user
reportedly alerted authorities on Wednesday after seeing two children, an infant and a
toddler, bound with duct tape around their wrists and ankles in photos posted to the
social networking site. In the photos, the 2-year-old and 10-month-old are allegedly
bound with duct tape around their wrists and ankles. Their mouths were also closed
shut with duct tape. Police said one of the children was hung upside down on an
exercise apparatus. Jayla Hamm, who was 17 at the time of the abuse, received 10
days in jail and two years probation. Her boyfriend, Corde Honea, 19, an ex-convict,
was sentenced to three to five years for child abuse and received an additional 12 to
24 months on felony possession of stolen firearms.

We often receive calls asking if there is a price to keep
someone out of our publication. The short answer to that
question is NO! OK Jailbirds has never accepted money
or favor to not publish a photo.
We hear many times from people that the arresting officer of someone at the jail told them all they have to do
is pay us money and we will not publish their photo. This
is NOT true. We feel that taking money in exchange for
not publishing an arrest photo is extortion and, as such,
should be a crime.
There are companies who do take money to remove a
person’s arrest information. OK Jailbirds never has and
never will. If an arrest doesn’t make our paper, it is only
because we didn’t receive it or we didn’t have a photo we
could match up.
Thank you and God Bless

TALK ABOUT BIRD BRAIN…
Game Warden Ben Bickerstaff, of
Alfalfa county, received a call of a suspicious person camping well inside
the closed area on the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. Upon contacting the suspect, Warden Bickerstaff
found two owl talons on the dash of
the vehicle.
Further investigation awarded 18
raptor talons, several loose avian feathers, raptor wings, wood pecker feet
and many other bird parts. Five deer hides and numerous other fur bearing
wildlife parts were also in possession.
In addition to the illegal wildlife parts law enforcement located and seized a
jar of psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana and pipe, and a psychedelic mushroom honey mixture.
After the search two recently discarded raptor carcasses were located on
the refuge near where the suspect camped.
Federal Wildlife Officer Shelby Finney (USFWS) and Lt. Ryan Webster (Oklahoma State Parks) were also on the scene helping process copious amount
of evidence.
On a funny note the suspect had a bag of live tarantulas that were quite a
surprise to the officers searching.
Obviously several state and federal charges are pending.

ARKANSAS, Y’ALL
A Vilonia, Arkansas, man was
locked up in Clinton after he allegedly
jacked a vehicle from Arkansas, then
drove it to Oklahoma and stole a book
bag containing a laptop and books on
October 19.
According to the affidavit, a Clinton officer was dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of South 12th
Street around 6:30 a.m. to investigate
a burglary. When he arrived, he was
flagged down by a woman who was
standing near a blue car. The woman
said the car was identical to one that
had been parked in front of her residence when she saw a man steal stuff
out of her vehicle. She told the officer a backpack containing her school
books and a laptop had been taken
out of her car.
The officer checked the blue vehicle’s tags and was advised the car had
been reported stolen out of Arkansas. When he and the woman looked
inside the vehicle’s window, they saw her backpack in the passenger side
front seat.
The vehicle was impounded and later searched with the consent of the
owner. The owner stated that her vehicle had been stolen in Arkansas
and she believed that her brother-in-law, identified as 35-year-old Jeffrey
Edward Hollister, had taken it.
Items belonging to Hollister were found inside the vehicle.
Officers located the man near North Seventh Street and Gary Boulevard
around 4:35 p.m. He admitted to stealing the vehicle.
An officer placed him under arrest and put him in the patrol car. Hollister
started yelling that he was going to kill the officers on scene.
An officer transported the man to the Clinton City Jail. When they arrived, Hollister was immediately placed in a cell, and was given a meal on
a plastic tray with a plastic cup. He destroyed the tray and cup to the point
that they can’t be used again.
Hollister is being charged with burglary in the second degree, unauthorized use of a vehicle, threaten to perform act of violence and malicious
injury to property under $1,000. His bond was set at $75,000, and he is
scheduled to appear in court on December 1, 2017.

TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN
Foss man Sabu Wolf Beltran, 24, was arrested after he allegedly broke into his father’s
residence and caused some damage, as well
as stole some valuable items.
According to the police report, a Washita County deputy met with Beltran’s father
shortly after 10 p.m. on August 8 at his
residence in the 300 block of First Street in
Foss. The man said when he came home
from work, he noticed that some items were
misplaced in his home. When he looked in
the room where his son and daughter-in-law
had been staying, he noticed that Beltran’s
clothing was gone. There was also damage
to the door and wall. The bathroom door and
another bedroom door had been damaged as well.
The victim said he then went to his own bedroom. Dresser drawers had
been removed from the dresser and dumped on the floor. Some change and
a jar containing 70-75 silver coins were nowhere to be found.
The man also said an 1800s pocket watch that had been in an old coat in
the back of his closet was also missing – he said his son knew where he kept
the watch.
The victim explained he had previously told his son to leave the residence
and not to return. Once Beltran moved out of the house, the man told his
son he would meet him back at the residence so his son could pick up his
personal belongings.
According to records, Beltran was later arrested on October 25, and is being charged with burglary in the second degree. His bond was set at $10,000,
and he is scheduled to appear in court on December 19, 2017.

Scott T: I think the s.o.b should have his head cut off too, with a dull knife. Our
society coddled the criminals, that’s why there are so many of them.
Jenni C: There are so many criminals because Oklahoma legislators don’t try
to prevent it by adequately funding the schools.
Scott T: I can agree that the schools need more funding but I don’t think that it
would have any effect on the crime rate.
Megan B: Penalty is not what motivates people. They do t anyway and this guy
would have done it anyway.
Scott T: I don’t mean that all crime would stop if our society were tougher on
criminals, but I do believe it would help to some degree. Plus it would make me,
(and a lot of other people) feel better.
Max S: They should speed the process don’t see nothin wrong with getting it
over with put him down been to long already he cut someone’s head off just take
em middle of downtown Tulsa n hang him get it done with
Nicholas P: Someone should bust into his cell when he isn’t expecting it and
cut his head off. Then justice would be served #eyeforaneye
Tommy N Cyndy M: The sad thing is he will live in prison at our cost for 10 to
20 yrs before he is put to his death. The people he killed didn’t get to live another
10 to 20 yrs. Prayers for the victims family.
Geoff W: If you don’t trust the government with the ability to spend tax money
wisely, but you trust it to successfully identify murder culprits with a 100% success
rate, you should reevaluate one or both of those opinions.
Darrell K: yeah this guy was caught literally red handed. there is no doubt
about who lopped off his fellow workers head.
JosephChiane R-D: If I’m not mistaken he admitted to doing it also so there’s
no doubt
Scott T: He admitted to it but tried to use religion, and even mental health as
an excuse.
Donnie B: Didn’t take them long to get rid of Timothy McVeigh so maybe they’ll
put this piece of crap on the express lane to hell
Heather G: The bombing happened in April 1995, he died June 2001, he was
fed and sheltered and had health care some do not until he was finally put to death
Russ J: Justice hasn’t been served yet. Not until they get that needle in his arm.
Marilyn R: Death penalty, what a joke, maybe in 30 years
Rechelle F: He should get put to death sooner than later poor victims I worked
there during this time horrible tragedy
Jason A: A bullet is cheaper and less time waiting for it to happen.
James H: I think it was served. And I believe the jury came back with the correct verdicts.
Brad F: He asked for the death penalty 2 yrs ago the state denied it
Deborah P: HELL YA, ONE INCH AT A TIME, CUT HIS HEAD OFF....THANK
YOU
Fred S: Justice hasn’t been served yet. He’s not dead.
Coll T: It would be served if they put the needle in his arm tomorrow.
David M: Yes...cut his head off...
Cody Y: One less P O S we are paying for.
Scott T: Oh we will be feeding him and providing health care for a while. Several
years likely.
Sue M: Don’t worry, we are going to be paying for his room and board for several years. It’ll take at least 6-8 for him to use up all of his appeals.
Tammy L: Yes. Eye for an eye.
Trevor L: Bring in a guillotine
Scott T: No too painless. Get someone who has little arm strength and give
them a dull machete, so they have to hack at it a couple times.
Trevor L: Haha I was trying to use something that’s barbaric but at the same
time doesn’t put us in the same league as him
Scott T: I see your point, but I’ve always felt that the punishment should fit the
crime. And this crap about lethal injection being bad because it burns a little bit......
nope... don’t care.
Wendy S: Barbaric, eh? Give him the rack...
Scott T: If more of these people were put to death, for murder, there would be
fewer murders, I’d bet.
Deneisa C: The sooner the better
Scott C: Bring back public hanging
Tom H: Pay per view it!!!!
Stan R: Yea he gotta go
Marie W: I think he deserves to die
Dee M: Hang him on the court house lawn
Tony P: the quicker the better
Kelly M: Yes
Michael V: Duh yeah
Dustin H: Yes
Shirley C: yes
JURORS RECOMMEND OKLAHOMA MAN
CONVICTED OF BEHEADING COWORKER
BE SENTENCED TO DEATH
Jurors have suggested that a man convicted of beheading his coworker be put to death for the crime.
Alton Nolen, 33, was convicted of first-degree murder in
late September for beheading his former coworker, Colleen
Hufford, in September 2014 inside Vaughan Foods. He has
already been handed three life sentences plus 130 years
combined on assault charges for stabbing Traci Johnson
and attacking other workers inside the plant.
After nearly three hours of deliberation, the jury reached a verdict and ruled that
Nolen should be sentenced to death.
The decision by the jury is just a recommendation. A judge will formally sentence
Nolen at a later date.

Q: Can I explore treatment centers even if my friend is not willing to go into
treatment? What should I look for in a treatment center?
A: Yes. If you find centers that might appeal to your friend, either by their location or medical approach, it might encourage him or her to enter treatment.
You can call this helpline and get some advice on how to proceed: 1-800-
662-HELP (4357) (This service is supported by the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services.) You can also look for a treatment center online, which
will allow you to search for a treatment center in your area and also give you
information about the kind of addiction or patients it treats.
Treatment approaches must be tailored to address each patient’s drug
abuse patterns and also other medical, psychiatric, and social problems.
Some treatment centers offer outpatient treatment programs, which allow
patients to continue to perform some daily responsibilities. However, many
people do better in inpatient (residential) treatment. An addiction specialist
can advise your friend or loved one about the most promising options.
NIDA’s Principles of Drug Addiction Treatment compiles 30 years of research into a set of general principles and frequently asked questions about
effective treatment. Using these principles, NIDA has developed a booklet
that outlines 5 questions you can ask when looking for a quality treatment
program. You might want to have these materials on hand when you talk to
treatment centers to help you ask the right questions.
UNSOLVED CASES:
CARINA SAUNDERS
OSBI reinstated a reward on
October 13, which was the six
year anniversary since remains
of Carina Saunders, 19, were
discovered behind a Bethany grocery store. The Bethany Police Department worked
the case for more than a year
before requesting OSBI investigative assistance. For several years now, OSBI has interviewed dozens of people who
claimed to have information,
served search warrants on locations believed to be involved
in the murder, and dug at several sites searching for evidence. As of yet, that
work has not produced enough evidence to make an arrest. Saunders’ case
is highlighted in the OSBI Cold Case Playing Cards distributed to Department
of Corrections facilities, hoping someone behind bars can provide useful information. OSBI is offering up to a $10,000 reward to the person(s) who provides information that helps substantially progress the case. By state law, that
reward is active for 90 days. Please call 1-800-522-8017 with information or
email a tip to [email protected].

DOMESTIC ABUSE IN PRESENCE
OF A CHILD
Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty BLAINE COUNTY 23 | NOVEMBER 2017
A LOVELY EVENING FOR A DRIVE
A Geary man was taken into custody after
he allegedly stole a car and went for an evening drive. That is, until an OHP pulled him
over.
Donald Paul Spottedcorn, III, 36, was
charged October 24 with driving a motor
vehicle while under the influence of alcohol,
unauthorized use of a vehicle, transporting an
open container, no valid drivers license, insurance verification- failure to comply, and failure
to wear safety belt, in Blaine County District
Court.
According to a Geary Police Department
blotter report, on October 18th at approximately 7:50 p.m., Geary police officers took
a stolen vehicle report from a resident who lives in the 100 block of Northeast
4th Street. The owner of a 2010 Mercury Mariner reported someone had stolen their vehicle earlier in the day and that it had possibly been stopped and
impounded by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Geary Police officers had the vehicle entered into N.C.I.C. as stolen and the
Oklahoma Highway Patrol notified Geary police they had stopped the vehicle
earlier in the day and arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.
Spottedcorn remains in the Blaine County jail. His case is on the November
15 docket for 1:00 p.m.
